Not a lot of places do Korean Street food, so this is definitely unique! The physical space is small and the parking lot of also small, so good luck!Seat yourself after ordering at the counter. Water is also self serve. Disposable utensils and napkins are at the tables. Service was very fast and portions are fair. The tteokbokki is nice and chewy. The fried chicken is probably the highlight of the menu, it was super tasty and crunchy! The gimbap was my favorite, the best Ive had in a long time.

The first two times I visited, everything was excellent, but not today. The customer service was perfect like usual. They increased the price which I understand but the foods quality definitely go down. With a thick layer of fried powder, there is hardly any chicken inside. There is a lot of wasabi in the gimbap sauce too...

My wife and I are crazy about Korean fried chicken. Which this place opened near our favorite mochinut place, we knew we would have to check it out - and we were not disappointed! This place definitely ranks in the top two fried chicken places weve been to!We had a whole chicken - half original and half with their special Onion sauce (slices of onion with an onion mayo dressing). The flavor of the chicken was delicious, flavorful, and was nicely crispy! We also had their Rose Tteokbokki and Mayak Gimbap. The Mayak was really nice! The Rose Tteokbokki was absolutely delicious!Everything here is really good. Do know that the service was a little slow, but only because everything is made fresh to order. Its very much worth the wait!

Loved the traditional mung bean pancake and Ttubboki! You can ask them to make your ttubbki mild spicy if you want. The oden soup was okay. Nothing special. Mayak kimbop was decent. I prefer classic mung bean pancake over seafood one. Seafood one has only shrimp in it and it’s more expensive. Service was okay.

Got wings with hot and spicy sauce. And boneless chicken with yangnyum. They were so good. The chicken was so crispy and juicy!! Price was reasonable too. They also have Korean street food inside, so we got pork meatball as well. I absolutely love this little neighborhood joint!

My wife has been wanting to try the Rose Tteokbokki when she sees it in one of her K dramas. Soon enough on Yelp, we see this famous Netflix feature Korean street food place in Arcadia, WOW.... Definitely have to try it. We ordered the Rose Tteokbokki & Oden soup combo, Mayak Gimbap and Mung Bean pancake. They were all awesome, however, the Oden soup is not worth it, in my opinion. If you order the Oden by itself, it costs 8.99 and it only contains 2 skewers. But the rest are excellent, esp the Rose Tteokbokki, it is so creamy, my wife and I love it very much.

Great service and atmosphere. They have great amenities like a self-serve water dispenser with nice metal cups and hand sanitizer at every table.

Never would I ever imagine seeing a restaurant in the SGV, excluding Rowland Heights area, to be serving authentic Korean street food. It brings back so many memories of traveling to Korea and walking to random streets and seeing numerous vendors selling the exact same dishes they serve here at Soon Hee Ga. While Ive never been or even heard of the OG location at the Korean Street Market in Seoul, friends have told me its legit good. Every dish we ordered was great and filled the two of us up. My favorite was their sweet rice drink, since I havent had that in years. There used to be a Korean restaurant in the CVS/Aldi plaza down the street back in the early 2000s that served that drink as a dessert. If Im not mistaken, they used to occupy what is now Half & Half or the Fork Over Pork shop. Since theyve closed, there hasnt been a Korean restaurant that served it as a dessert (for free too!). Soon Hee Ga does a fantastic job making this rice drink and I can literally drink it all day long during the summer months. Everything else we ordered complimented well with the spicy rice cake sauce too, unless you cant handle spicy dishes. Give this place a shot if youre local because itll save you time going to Ktown for the exact same stuff.

Their seafood pancakes are to die for! So delicious! The Gimbap was pretty good too! Fish cake, don’t leave it in the soup too long unless you are eating right away. It’ll get too soft! The ttheobokki was a bit spicy for me. So if you like a bit of a kick, get it! Dip the Gimbap in it and it’s delish! Next time I go, I’d have to try their new dishes! Parking is difficult since it’s a really small plaza with lots of food! So do get there early!

Got the combo with the tteokboki, odeng fishcake, and mayak kimbap (30.99). Also got the mungbean pancake (9.99). There was no wait to order when I went since I went for an early dinner, and the food was ready in about 15 minutes. The service was pretty good since the employee saw me waiting outside and brought my order to me, which was very kind of them to. As for the taste of the food, the tteokboki was a bit spicy was acceptable (even though I normally cant handle spice). The rice cake was nice and chewy. The fish cake was alright, nothing special. The mungbean pancake didnt have a special taste, just tasted like a fried pancake. There were only 4 slices but they were thick so didnt feel too small. The kimbap was my favorite of the three- it was nice and bite sized but also nothing really special about its taste. Overall, this was a decent meal but pretty pricey for the portions you get. Worth trying though if youre into korean street food!
