This place is quickly becoming one of our favorite stops when we come through Cambria. They have the best sandwiches, drinks & fresh cookies! They’re also dog friendly, which makes traveling so much easier. I had my dog in her backpack while I was in the store & the workers kept commenting on how adorable she was. Great food, awesome selection, & super friendly employees. Highly recommend!

What can I say, this is the best grocery store I have ever been in! They have just about everything you want and everything they stock is high quality. I have found that stores that pride themselves on selling more healthy food like Sotos tend to have food that doesnt taste that good. Not Sotos, the owners are very careful of what they stock and only stock foods that are great tasting and are of great quality. Besides the great groceries there is a deli in the back where they make amazing sandwiches. I normally hate shopping but love going to Sotos True Earth!

The market is a fun collection of natural food, local produce and a lot of things youll never find in a big grocery store. But its their eclectic and creative menu of prepared food and deli selections at the back of the store that make this one of my favorite local spots.They make lunch or dinner easy with ready-made or deli-style burritos, salads or wraps. Perfect to take home or on a picnic.Their tofu (chicken) curry salad is so full of flavor that you dont need to be a vegetarian to love it. My husband and I paired it with a noodle salad the last time, and it was a great combo.So far, Ive liked everything on the menu. They have quality ingredients, and you can taste it. I actually prefer it to many of the local restaurants.A selection of local beer and wine, along with an interesting array of ones that you rarely see, give you a chance to try something different.Ive recommended it to several out-of-town guests, and theyve all loved it! Its nice to be able to give them an alternative to a traditional, sit-down restaurant.

Decent selection, nice atmosphere and they make use of every square foot of space (meaning it can be pretty cramped in the aisles, so be cordial). A resident recommended this and it was a good recommendation

The most perfect little organic/natural grocery store I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Well stocked. Friendly staff. Delicious high quality, healthy food made to order in the back. So glad my hotel was within walking distance.

Hidden in the back of this wonderful gem of a natural, and gourmet grocery store, is a small healthy deli. Filled with all kinds of delicious looking items. Especially a lot of vegetarian and vegan options.A great place to fill up your picnic basket .

Overall love the store. Very disappointed to see Icelandic farmed salmon for sale there, as history and research has shown us without doubt how destructive the salmon farming practices are. For a store that markets itself as natural and true earth, carrying such an environmentally damaging product is something that needs to be changed. Farmed salmon is incredibly destructive to the environments in which theyre farmed in. Having spent a lot of time in the wild western fjords of Iceland (which my family is from), and as a fly fishing guide for wild salmon in Iceland, I see firsthand what the effects of these farms are. Very disappointing to see one of my favorite stores in Cambria carry a product which currently is the biggest threat to our wild trout and salmon population. Hope to see this change.

Looking for some healthy options with all the gluten free, dairy free, sustainable etc? This is your place in town. Love the local duck and quail eggs. I’ve never had them and we buy them whenever we go in for a treat. Local fruit and veggies. Hard kombucha available

I was absolutely floored by the food here. Delicious, wholesome, well prepared and substantial portion-sizes. AND they were happy to modify for food restrictions.The breakfast burrito I had was gluten-free with vegan cheese and it absolutely knocked my socks off. Keep in mind, thats coming from a Colorado resident who does not mess around when it comes to authentic tortillas and double helpings of chorizo on his normal breakfast burritos.Bonus points: although youd never know it by taste, most of their baked goods are made without processed sugar (woo coconut and maple sugar!!) and many of them are GF.Sotos - come open a spot in Boulder, CO!

What a cute little grocery store! For such a small space, they really have a wide selection of specialty items. Theres also a good selection of sandwiches, deli salads, and such available from the counter in the back. No seating, but theres a little park about a block and half away around the corner.Staff are friendly and helpful, ask them about locally sourced products and help support the community while trying new things!

I love STEM!! There’s so much life in their store. The staff is energetic, friendly and they always have a smile. Their store is packed with great products and goodies! Absolutely fantastic market for unique items and foods you can take with you to visit wineries, nearby and inland, for a perfect picnic lunch. One heck of a lot better than any charcuterie plate for 20 bucks that a winery would sell you… and you choose the items. Super nice and helpful staff.

The folks who run this market know vegan appetites. Their hot and cold savory dishes are delicious -- we sampled a number of items in the display case and ordered a few recommended hot items from the menu. Everything was so good. My wife and I spent a week driving down the PCH from Half Moon Bay to Morro Bay, and we wished we could have taken this market along with us. Thank goodness for wrapped-up leftovers!

Best health food market in the area. This is a small store filled with a huge selection of wonderful healthy and unique choices. I live in the Los Angeles and we have many healthy grocery stores but Sotos is my favorite. The deli located in the rear of store is my favorite. Wish we had this in my neighborhood.

Stopped at Soto’s on my way from Los Angeles up to Hearst Castle. Ordered from their food bar, and also made a purchase at the market. Similar to Whole Foods or Follow Your Heart and very delicious! Would definitely recommend and eat their again.

Like this market so much. Im a vegan, so it was nice to be able to shop locally and bring back snacks and fruit to our hotel. Lots of great choices and the staff were very funny. They made us laugh and everyone was in a good mood.

I had the quinoa black bean patty and it was great. For all the fancy-ish restaurants in paso robles and cambria, this meal was probably my most enjoyable. The flavors were southwest inspired but mild. The patty comes with roasted peppers and greens on top. The bun is a pretzel bun, so it doesnt get soggy really quick. The fudge muffin (or cupcake?) for dessert was great too. Not too sweet.

At first glance, you might think Sotos is an ordinary market. Its extraordinary - the food is fresh, and serves every palate and dietary need. Go in and make sure you head to the back of the store for a space that shares sandwiches, salads, soup and more!

Ridiculous prices. Hard to get past that for me. Yesterday I bought a day old chocolate croissant that should have been thrown away. It was tough and chewy, more like a week old. And almost no chocolate inside. Terrible. Unless you have money to burn, shop elsewhere, in Paso Robles or Atascadero even Morro Bay has better values than this.
