I ordered a sourdough bowl with chili. The food came out in less then 3 minutes and it was at a good temperature. The chili was full of flavor and excellent. The sourdough bread had a crunchy outside and a soft inside, making it easier then eat then most breadbowls. There is also a good variety of drinks, even having good tea options. There are limited vegetarian and vegan options, but I haven’t explored that part yet. Overall, a good place to eat when you are at Berkeley.

Super nice staff and amazing clam chowder bread bowl! (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)❤️The chowder was smooth, creamy, and fill with potatoes and clam! The bread is crispy as well!There are a lot of inside seats and the vibe is pretty chill 😌 good place for studying or hanging out with friends! I was excited to try a new sandwich places, but unfortunately I was not impressed.I got the turkey sandwich, and the price was outrageous for a deli sandwich. For a 6in they charge $14 including tax. If you want a chips and drink expect to pay like $20. I just can’t justify that much for a deli sandwich meal.A deli sandwich should taste fresh and lightweight, but it just felt heavy to me. Barely any lettuce.I’m only giving it 3 stars because you can find better and cheaper sandwiches in the area. My favorite is Cheese N Stuff!

The bread really is delicious, and the chicken & poblano pepper soup was very satisfying. Also had the clam chowder but the potatoes were a bit undercooked - unexpected for chowder. The salad was a healthy serving. The macaroni and cheese was very creamy and cheese, with the pasta very soft.

First of all I speak of my experience with Sourdough&Co. Ham sndwch is Amaz!ng…Better yet if you have a sndwch early in the day, the bread is fresh.The place is clean and customer service is great. Good environment, music all is good. Keep up the good quality, customer service and cleanliness.

The “convenience fee” should be eliminated because it is deceptive. I thought I would pay 12.99 for a sandwich, only to find that at the register there is an additional charge. No other businesses do this.additionally, the justification the cashier gave me for this fee is not right. She told me that the fee exists because minimum wage was raised. This justification presupposes the idea of perfect elasticity between the prices of labor and of goods, which is not a real phenomenon. there are many examples of minimum wage rising but the price of goods DECREASING (because workers have more money to put back into the economy). Also, a flat rate charge per transaction does not scale with the cost of labor: if I order a bunch of items, labor costs increase more or less proportionately, but the convenience fee does not, the point being that even from a management perspective this fee is not a good way to cover rising costs of labor.I would have walked away from the register but my girlfriend wanted a sandwich. This fee should be eliminated.

Delicious turkey sandwich, great toppings, and the bread is incredible. Friendly service, and nice dining space. My perfect lunch option — will return!

Amazing chowder bread bowl! I’m a chowder fiend and this is one of the most affordable and tasty ones I’ve had! The bread is super light and fluffy — not tough or too crunchy to hurt someone’s mouth/gums. Chowder was solid and for $9, this is a hidden gem! Their sandwiches are also delicious!
