If you like reminenance of home food this is a good place to come too. I got the spicy beef soup and portion was very generous.
Got the goat stew & beef rib soup. Both were very good, emphasizing more the flavor of the ingredients rather than being too salty; also had good spiciness. Generous with the meat, which was tasty & had good texture. Served with white or brown rice.What really makes this place so special was the 6-7 small korean side dishes that were served. They were all so delicious! I’m glad we stumbled upon this place and we’ll definitely return.
매운족발 너무 맛있어요. 한국에 갔을때 먹던 그맛과는 또 다른 매력.The spicy pork is a must get if you can handle the heat. Portions are big- my husband and I can finish it and feel very full afterwards (paid about $40-42 with tax included). Gotta ask for side dishes and rice!
The soondae (Korean blood sausage) soup was great and the portions are very generous. Small restaurant with limited seating but worth it
Have visited many times and Food is Always Excellent. I have become accustomed to a more Korean Countryside Comfort Food and this is The PLACE Ive found to Satisfy that craving. Banchans are Very Good with the Kimchi only being OK. owners are Very Nice and limited in English but pictured menu on the walls are easy to bridge the communication and Food is Well Worth the effort.
I ate the pork feet here, and it was worth it. Not really a big fan of soondae however. Just be aware that the place is small, and they seem to have a minor fly problem. Other than that they are best when it comes to takeout.
Great, authentic, yet unique, Korean home food. A hidden gem would perfectly describe this place. Even the side dishes are home-made and Ive seen some unique dishes Ive not seen in other places. We ordered 4 different items and every single one of them was well above the average.The place had a few dedicated parking lots, and it wasnt busy at an early Friday night. There were many street parking slots available along the 166th St. Will definitely return.

SUPER small restaurant. Only has four tables that seats four people... so not recommended for a big party. Also, it seems like only one couple runs the place so it does take awhile for service. However, the dishes are big in portion and the side dishes are really good! I got the pork potato stew!
Great food. Authentic delicious Korean food with friendly service. Portions were quite generous. Highly recommend for anyone in the area... felt like we were back in Korea. Good alternative in the area if youre looking for Korean food but not BBQ for a change.

Authentic Korean food from a Korean lady who puts real love into what she does. This is not your Korean fusion kbbq place. This is not a place you go for vegan options (although there might be a few vegetarian items you could order). Instead, imagine a hole in the wall shop with 4.5 tables where the Korean truck drivers come to eat 순대국.This is where the 반찬 (side dishes) are made as well as the main dishes. In fact you could do well with just rice, side dishes, and soup. But dont, because the main dishes are so good! Service can take a little longer as everything is made from scratch but just speak up if you need something. Go now!감사합니다~ 너무 맛있어요~ 😁
Tiny inside but luckily my family of 7 went noone else was there. The owners are super sweet and everything we got was approved from age 4 to 70.

Great hole in the wall Korean restaurant for those seeking something adventurous. Decent prices and the owner is a sweet little old lady. You can tell she takes pride in her cuisine. The Gamja-Tang jeongol is very good and HUGE

A family-run restaurant with a traditional Korean feel. I usually order take-out sundae from time to time, and the portion is generous and delicious!!! The interior doesnt smell at all and its very clean!! The seasoning was a little too salty for my taste, but overall it was very delicious and this is a restaurant that comes to mind when the weather gets chilly. I recommend it!!!!
I went to see the reviews, but its really not good. The sundaeguk smelled and all the side dishes were so tasteless that I couldnt eat them. If even one side dish was delicious, I wouldnt have written a review.
This restaurant makes and sells pigs feet sundae.I ordered sundae and kimchi stew.The sundae is better than most sundae restaurants in Korea.Kimchi jjagae is made with a generous amount of pork, making it spicy and refreshing.

Its a small restaurant, but it tastes like home! When my wife was pregnant, her wife used to give her bone broth, saying it was good for pregnant women. This is a very friendly and humane restaurant!
The owners aunt and uncle were very kind. I went there while cleaning was starting by raising a chair to reach the restaurant, but they kindly made food for me. It was the most delicious thing Ive ever eaten, and the side dishes were also delicious. It must be a blessing to meet such a delicious and friendly restaurant while traveling.

I dont know about the food. Please properly train the staff who answer the phone. Who takes an order and just hangs up? Without even saying a word about when to come - I will never use this kind of service. Even though I was upset, I called to cancel so they wouldnt damage the store, and as soon as they heard, they immediately hung up and said the basics of business are not working. I have no intention of ever going and have no intention of recommending it. Whether it tastes good or not, dont do business like this. Thanks to you, I will continue to go to the same place I used to go to every time^^
They say you cant park in Jinmi parking only in front of the restaurant. Even though there are no other parking lots, they tell me to park in another no parking lot. The man serving me doesnt care about the customers and just tells me to take care of it. Im offended so I just leave.

Sundae soup. Pigs feet are absolutely delicious. There are people even after 9 oclock. I tried the spicy pigs feet seasoning and it was absolutely delicious.
If you want to eat home-cooked food, I highly recommend this place.Bossam and pigs feet sundae are also a taste of home that reminds me of my hometown.

2023-01-13 06:34:30For more a more traditional style of Korean food, cant go wrong here. The food is good and you can taste the seasoning but its not over marinated. This is one place that actually specializes also in pig feet with different dishes and is quite good. This is a dish that is more towards the cold side also. Definitely recommend to try!

2023-01-03 05:02:56Brilliant family-run local restaurant. The food tastes just like in Korea. The banchan (side dishes) in particular are excellent and among the best Ive had in the US. The restaurant is a bit small but that makes it cozy. This is the place to go for authentic and great Korean food.
