My favorite Cafe in Grass Valley! The crew are always kind and the food is always yummy! The Lobster Benedict is my regular and the house made hot sauce is special! Will be back many more times 💖

The building is real easy to locate and its a pretty building. The lobby is a decent size with a little waiting area. The restaurant is bright and unfortunately very loud because the front door slams shut every time someone goes through. Our server was Pfeffie and she was quite pleasant to chat with and was singing and a little dancing to the music that was playing. The food was a little hit and miss. We both had one of the specials of the day, I had the Roast Beef and Gorgonzola sandwich which was great but I got a side of Clam Chowder that was clearly Manhattan style and I never tasted or felt a clam, just the bacon that was in there. It tasted fine, but not clam chowdery enough if I could only taste the bacon. My wife got the Tutti Fruity Pancakes, which she loved. We also got a side of home fries with cheese and they were alright but mostly bland.

This was our treat after driving for five hours. This place is cozy and warm, and seems to be a local favorite. I had avocado toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly the side, potato pancake was delish.

This is a fantastic restaurant, Ive been twice and have yet to be disappointed! The wait can be a bit long and there is often a bathroom line. The food is phenomenal and their biscuits and gravy are as good as it gets.

This is a cute breakfast spot. It can be busy on the weekends but worth the wait. You also may have to hunt a bit for a parking spot. Once you get inside you will be greeted by friendly staff and a homey vibe. A classic country kitchen with elevated flavor. All of the breakfast staples are on the menu with a little creativity. Wont disappoint, but go on the weekday if you are impatient.

There is not a bad menu on the item. I absolutely love this place and will keep coming back. Ive had the blackstone eggs benedict and a few scrambles here. Each one has been delicious beyond measure! dont forget your short stack of pancakes!

For years, South Pine Cafe in Grass Valley has been serving up THE BEST breakfast / brunch in Nevada county. Every time I dine there, I am amazed by the consistently fantastic food.
