We ordered some quesadillas, enchiladas, carnitas and carne asada tacos. We did not like the particular food we ordered. The meet was very dry and couldn’t taste the flavor. There was no lime or lemon. I’d give them 5 stars for the food preparation time tho, they were quick. Make sure to ask for utensils when picking up.

So so overall. We got some food for takeout and was happy with some of it but not impressed with others. The fish tacos and shrimp tacos were quite good!! Everything else was mediocre at best. We got the al pastor tacos, beef tacos and chicken tacos which were mediocre at best. Finally we also got the veggie nachos which were so so - too many beans for my taste. Giving 3 stars because their prices were quite good. I don’t think I’ll be going back there.

High quality ingredients made for some fine tacos! Pretty average flavors but still a great selection of toppings. The tortillas are a bit bland but we still found the carnitas to be a standout as far as compatible restaurants. The fish taco is also loaded with a slice of succulent fish steak. Loved their cold fresh fruit juice options too. Would happily return anytime. Fun little plaza to tour while you wait for your order. Nice little outdoor seating option as well.

This is a hidden gem. Ive been working just down the street from this place for almost a decade, and something told me to stop. Ive never been so glad that I did 2 days in a row. The watermelon Fresca 🍉 is worth a try I absolutely loved its refreshing flavor. I tried the BBQ chicken platter and the steak salad both of which I would recommend.

Delicious, authentic street-style tacos without the ghetto LA surroundings or vibe 😂🤭 $1 tacos on Tuesday. But prices arent bad at all regardless. I definitely reccomend!Perfect meal after our hike!We got 2 beef tacos, 1 pork (I forget which one) taco and 1 fried fish taco (was a bit spicy for my low tolerance but the fish was delicious).

Great ppl working there and I’ve been eating there every day for a while, tho… not anymore since I got tired of the inconsistencies in the portions, one day the bowl is half empty and the other day it’s full, I noticed that the present of the owner has affect on it, my guess is that the cook doesn’t want the boss think he fill up the bowl too much… but it doesn’t really matter, what matters is that after buying breakfast for $13 I’m still hungry… and it’s not about the money - just about the general vibe of leak of abundance 👎.Still thank you for all the other (full) breakfasts that I had so far.The picture I’ve attached is of a good portion plate I had there long time ago ;)

I bet if the restaurant opens in China, it definitely will become an internet celebrity. This food stand has so many fashion elements. The shape, the color, the font, especially the handwriting on the blackboard. It looks like an Italian food booth, but its a Mexican. Even better for me.The Crispy Fish Taco is way worse than Taconazo (any branch), the Grilled Shrimp is not as good as Tack Stand. But anyway, its still a good taco option. Have a try, raise your thumbs.

Excellent place for a quick bite in Alhambra. The carne asada burrito is probably the best you can get in town and the spicy orange habanero Sal’s makes me salivate just thinking about it. Worth going to in when you’re in town, also near a great liquor store with a solid selection of craft beers.

My family and I were there on a weekend and it was not busy at all. Food took over 20 min to be ready. The taste isnt the same as before. The taste is different now. The sauce it is still the same, chips are the same, sopes were soggy and hard to bite. My family and I went from Covina to Alhambra just to eat the sopes and we were very disappointed this time. We hmdidnt returned to this place after a year.

Asada tacos were okay, I’ve had better, I’ve had worse. I also had the asada burrito. About halfway through the burrito I noticed a strange taste. Egg. I thought it was just a piece of egg that got mixed in accidentally. Nope… it was at least 1 whole scrambled egg lining the inside of the burrito, haven’t seen that before. Once I scooped it out It made up about a third of the protein and I noticed very little rice and beans… I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like that,… but it’s not described on the menu like that,… and that’s what I don’t appreciate… I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Simply the best walk up kitchen serving awesome tasting mexican food. Had the Carne asada burrito! Did I mention the great service! Amazed at the amount of foot traffic...it has to be good. We sat in their small, quaint sitting area and was very comfortable. Only outside sitting.

This little neighborhood gem offers some of the tastiest Mexican-American food with a full menu. Their pricing is a little more on the higher end, but the quality of the food is worth it. Additionally, I have always thought their brand name is perfect given their menu, service, and decor. This place delivers on their brand promise and they know exactly who they are, and how to please.

Meh. Took 25 minutes to get two tacos that tasted like they were sitting in a heated pan all day. I went on a Saturday at 5:30 pm and was the only person in line at the time. It wasnt busy. The staff were nice, but the Asada tacos were lackluster. Id give it a second chance. It could have been a fluke, so Im not gonna say I dont recommend it, I just dont get it.

My family keep coming back to this place for their amazing pozole and coffee. We LOVE the cafe de olla! Its a must try. I am a vegetarian and have a few options (e.g., veggie tacos, burritos, chilaquiles, huevo rancheros). 5/5 For the food alone. Service and sit down location isnt anything to brag about but definitely a favorite spot.

There was no place to sit, so It was only take out. Chilaquiles is my go to so Ive had them everywhere. This place had decent chilaquiles the Chile was on the side, but the tortillas had good crunch and flavor. The waters were really good.

We were excited to find this so close to our conference! It is in walking distance to West San Gabriel’s SELPA office and is very quick. There was a line of a dozen people but ordering took just a few minutes and the food was out in less than ten minutes. The staff was very friendly. My friend and I were happy with our tacos (chicken, asada and shrimp). The salsa complements the tacos very well. I would rate it five stars if the asada was less tough and more flavorful, I am also very particular about carne asada. We will be visiting again to try other items on their menu :)

Family-owned business.Very friendly service and very much accommodating to people with disabilities.All ingredients are freshly made including salsa.When I know Im within 20 minutes of this place I will make a special beeline to this just to get their food. Ive tried various entrees and Ive never been disappointed.While the style is not totally traditional Mexican food, and believe me Im not a big Fusion kind of person, I definitely love this place!I come back for the food as well as the excellent service and the smiles on the face of everyone that I deal with.

Its ok for quick tacos. The pastor and the chorizo tacos were decent but not fabulous. On Tuesdays they are a great deal for $1.00 though😊Also ordered hard shell potato taco which was really good. Ill come back for those for sure.All n all its nice to have Mexican food in Alhambra!!

Photo speaks for itself. Have given this place 3 tries and I’m done. The torta has to much bread or not enough meat and fillings. Dry bread is not a good meal and very upset that after many times bringing it to their attention they don’t seem to care. Otherwise it would be great.

A premium Mexican food experience. Better cuts of meat than corner taco stands and less greasy but also as a result, a little less savory. Still five star worthy.P.S. A delicious hack I like to do is ordering the chilaquiles with mole sauce instead of the salsas. If you havent tried it before, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Spanglish food was excellent, far better than I make at home . I believe it has that very nice homemade quality that evades most fast food providers and food trucks. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. I have eaten outside in the eating area and it was nice in the summer but cold in the winter months.Spanglish is a well earned 4.5bout of 5 stars in my opinion.

I will no longer come to this place after my last two orders of pozole, which contain mostly broth, and next to no Hominy and a little bit of meat. I’m very disappointed because I specifically asked, on my second time ordering, for them to please be generous with the hominy. They got a pass the first time they did this, but the second time almost felt intentional. there were about 6 pieces of hominy when I brought it home (worse than the first time!) . it was very convenient for me to go here as I live fairly close but I will no longer be giving this place any business. I literally had a drink of broth for lunch.

We drive out to this spot every week or two. All the options we’ve had are pretty tasty and the fresh juice waters are reaaally good. They do typically serve the food pretty hot, like right off the grill, I got a veggie burrito once and the vegetable water practically seared my mouth. But it’s all tasty and we love it.

We’ve only had delivery, so it’s possibly the score is a little undervalued, but they have some really good options. The lime rice is great and we really like their burritos. Always drive passed this place but finally made a stop here for lunch and it was worth it. There were a good selection of signature dishes that hit the spot. It was a windy day and the chili sauce take warmed us up. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito and it paired up nicely with their salsa Verde. Parking is limited in this plaza but there is plenty of street parking around the corner if needed.

First time here Friendly service. We ordered 2 sopes one Shrimp and one asada. The shrimp was not the best, but the asada had a great flavor. We also ordered the Huarache. We agreed the texture of the base had a great flavor and enhanced all the toppings as you bite into it. The food was freshly prepared. They also had aguas frescas and they were good. There were no straws because they offer sippy cups, there is no indoor dining, there is a small outside dining section. Parking is minimal. I definitely plan on going back to try other menu items.

Excellent torta tacos and taquitos. Enchiladas are absolutely wonderful. Even the rice is awesome and I usually dont like rice much. I give this place 5 stars not only because Im a local, but because this Mexican fast food isnt covered in grease and has perfect flavor!Ive tried almost everything on their menu and have yet to eat something that I dont like.If this is your first time eating here, I suggest one of the tortas thats served with fresh made potato chips.If youre on a budget try their soft tacos (especially on taco Tuesday. Theyre all $1). And be sure to try all of their salsas that are oh so delish.

This is my favorite street taco place. On Tuesdays, many of the tacos are $1. Potato tacos are also the best, but cost a couple dollars. Trust me, they are so worth it! If you want something sweet, the flan is pretty great. There is some outdoor seating but I often take the food to go.

My boyfriend and I have been going here for a few years now, in the beginning it was always so good! Great tasting food, big portions, and friendly staff. We would always get Asada Nachos and carnita and pastor tacos. But then the portions got way smaller and the food didnt taste as good. The carnitas would be really dry and the amount of the asada on the nachos was very small. We were disappointed a lot of the time, so we eventually stopped going for a few months. However we tried it again last weekend and it was good again. Good size portions, flavorful meat, juicy carnitas. So we will go back again and hopefully it stays good! The salsas are also really good!

We did yelp 1st before stopping. We ordered 1 chicken quesadilla and a potato taco, and we went back to order more potato tacos. The potato tacos are really tasty like garlicky with sour cream/creama, the tortilla was fried just perfect to a crisp without being oily. Came here to try out their taco Tuesday dollar special, since we already have multiple places already have similar deals. Cashier was very nice and told me which tacos were the specials and what kind of sauce Id like to have with my order. They have a non spicy smoky sauce, the mild green, and the hot red. I took the smoky and ordered 2 asada, al pastor, and carnitas. They were very juicy and flavorful, plus they came in the right size since some places will try and skim in the portion for their specials. Overall pretty good place to try out, definitely want to come back and try out some of the other menu items

This is my go-to taco place. I absolutely love their street-style tacos and salsas. The meats might be a bit on the dry side but thats what salsa is for. I usually order the crunchy potato, grilled fish, carnitas, asada, and pastor. They indulge my overly greedy requests for their salsas and pico de gallo (they ask how many of each when you order). Even if youre into spicy, dont pass over the mild salsa. The mild is smokey and packed full of flavor, so be sure to get mild with your medium and hot. This place has gotten got very popular, even though they canceled $1 Taco Tuesdays WAAH, so I suggest ordering ahead by phone. The service is always friendly and usually spot-on. They short-changed my order once, but they made it right without issue, and made sure the missed items were ready for me when I returned.

I tried 3 different tacos the asada (beef), the pastor (pork) and the chorrizo (sausage).All the meats were absolutely delicious and flavorful from being marinated; each taco comes with onions and cilantro served on a very fresh corn tortilla. The sauces are extra but not a complaint. I highly recommend having them grill jalapeno peppers (each whole one is $0.50). Ask them and they will cut them up. They make an excellent addition to the taco.They also offer a very diverse menu. Sure its a little more expensive than a run-of-the-mill taco truck or a Chipotles but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality and taste. This place always amazed me, Its in the coroner of a tiny parking lot and has so many options chilaquiles, flautas, tortas, quesadillas, tacos, flan, burritos, and so much more. The meats are well seasoned and have no fat hanging on. Veggis options are also available. My favorite things to get here are the chicken tacos with the green salsa, which is in my opinion their best, not over powering yet adds a kick of flavor; as well, as there tortas which have a nice soft bread a slice of queso fresco, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, avocado, and meat of your choice. With the torta you get potato chips( which looks luke they make there👍) a roasted chilli seasoned with some delightful salt. If thirst they have fouantin drinks, water, horchata, and freshly made melon water. The adobada torta was ptetty testy. The meat was tender and moist, not too much spices or greasy. The orchata drink tasted like real orchata and not the powder. I recommend this place.

Where do I begin?! I crave the chorizo breakfast burrito weekly, spiced with their habanero salsa. I always also get the watermelon agua fresca. I love that the ingredients always taste fresh, and prepared right when ordered. I love the restaurant style of just pickup or delivery, the staff and kit hen always look clean and are always very friendly. Hands down one of the best burrito places in LA. Update; They modernized for COVID times with order system that allows you to customize your meal and notifies you when order is ready. Not sure why people still wai in line. The breakfast burritos are so goooood. The Cafe de Olla is just right, nice Huevos Rancheros.

The carnitas and pastor tacos and/or sopes are AWESOME!! They are $1 each on Tuesdays. Get there early; the wait gets longer later in the evening. Seating is outside ONLY and limited.

It is obvious to anyone paying attention that Americans have an obsession with Mexican food especially in L.A. So what Spanglish Kitchen has to offer? They offer simple, delicoso and authentic Mexican food. It is located in a little plaza on the corner of Atlantic Blvd and Alhambra Rd. We had Tortas and Asada Burrito with chips. The meats are fresh, juicy and soft for your mouth to devour. Staff are very friendly and competent. Similarly, their service is fast. Prices are relatively $ fair. They have outdoor seating only. Parking is very limited. In our humble opinion, Spanglish Kitchen is a great place to grab food. Definitely well be back!! Luckily we live just down the road. #SpanglishKitchen

Spanglish Kitchen has the best Chorizo tacos Ive eaten in LA and the Agua Frescas are homemade and delicious and the staff are super friendly and polite - as you ask questions to decide what to order. Love this place!!

Cozy hole in the wall counter with small patio seating for about 20. Parking lot space is limited but street parking is plentiful on Alhambra Rd. Be careful of the fast moving traffic on Atlantic.Most things seem to be cooked to order rather than being reheated. The huarache base was crispy and chewy without being too oily. The meats can be a bit on the salty side but is great as post-run or post-gym food.I recommend a large melon agua fresca to cut the salt.

I have yet to taste anything bad. I only give 4 stars cuz they serve super small burritos at lunch time lol. so if you want a nice size burrito get it after 2pm
