Special Noodle in Santa Cruz

Very fast service, but after a time seeing people come and go it started to feel rushed. Food was good not spectacular for the high prices. Portions were also ok but small for prices. I had to laugh that the water jug on table was a plastic OJ container lable pealed off. Steamed buns were good, egg rolls were boring, beef noodle soup had flavor, and sweet sour chicken was good but small portion. Also interesting you scan menu on phone and place your own order.

Wow! 🤯 Had high expectations and they still blew us away! That never happens. Chewy fresh noodles, the dumplings were all perfect and the pan fried soup dumplings are a must get every time. Looking forward to working our way through the entire menu. Only complaint, dont sit next to the incense burner! 🤢 We had to move but after that everything was great.❤️🔥🌶️🥟🍜

As of 9/9/23, Google wait-list does NOT work. They use a physical wait-list at the restaurant. Google will tell you theres no wait, which is likely not true since this is a very popular restaurant. And for good reason. Its very authentic and delicious Chinese food. My family is from China/Taiwan, and we all thought the flavors were right. Everything we ordered was good, especially the 生煎包，四姐冰花煎饺 with猪肉芹菜，伤心凉粉，and 西芹拌腐竹。The 湖南小炒麵was good too, but next time I might get it without the noodle if they have it.

The outside of the restaurant looks like an old Dennys. The inside is very nice.There was a qr code for the menu, which I see a lot, but then you would order on your phone.The food was great. We had the Steamed Soup Dumplings. The Pork Fried Rice. My daughter had Chicken Chow Mein and I had the Mongolian Beef.The portions were huge, 2 people could definitely share 1 dish.

This is my first 5-star review for 2023.This is one of the very few Chinese restaurants that gives out a good service. As a Chinese American myself, I am so get used to “just eat, do not ask too much” mentality. This restaurant is different.The food is good and it’s location just perfect. I am truly glad their business in SC. Keep the good work.

This was pretty fantastic and authentic Chinese food. I had the hot and sour soup, salt and pepper prawns, chow mein and shrimp soup dumplings. Way too much food, but all really delicious! This was their Grand Opening, too! Definitely check it out when you’re in Santa Cruz!

Very delicious snowflake dumpling - I had the pork and cabbage. The vegetable chow mein was an excellent pairing, with perfectly cooked vegetables, soft and chewy noodles, and an excellent hint of charred flavor. Highly recommended and probably the best Chinese food in the county!!!

The food here is AMAZING! Everything is fresh and delicious. Food came quickly and service was friendly.We orders and all the food was delivered, at once, within 10 minutes. The atmosphere is great, and the decor was beautiful! Parking was limited, we had to park a few blocks away.Fair warning-everything is done by your phone: ordering, paying, even getting a waiters assistance. If you are not a techy person, this may present challenges. For example, to get the menu you need to scan the QR code, this also places your order.

SO good! The food is bomb dot com. Parking is a bit sketchy. But the place is clean, quick to bring out food, staff is friendly, restrooms are clean. Overall, highly recommend.

Food is still good, but pretty busy. Arrived around 5:30pm on Saturday. There were already some people waiting in line. Parking lot is also small.
