2023-07-16 02:55:41Special noodle was pretty good. I enjoyed their chicken dumplings, cucumbers, and veggie buns. Would not recommend their spicy beef noodle soup unless you like mala spice, but I also felt like it was lacking in flavor in general.Food was pretty quick.Dont be like me and order too much. Portions are very big.

2023-10-23 22:15:44Recently discovered a new noodle restaurant in Newark. Perfect for a warm bowl of hot noodles on a cold day! The name of the place is Special Noodle🍝.This place offers a variety of noodles, dumplings, and stir-fried dishes. They even have pot options, catering to both Northern and Southern Chinese cuisine enthusiasts.🌟Recommended Dishes:☑️ Sichuan Stone Pot Snowflake Beef Noodles: A must-try! Generous portions [thumbs up]. Plus, you get to enjoy a live cooking performance. The moment the hot soup is poured in, its incredibly satisfying! Highly recommended!☑️ Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings): Each one is a delight, bursting with flavorful broth.☑️ Sricky Rice Pork Ribs: I love sticky rice, and this dish is a winner. Skip ordering plain rice as the sticky rice absorbs all the meaty goodness, and the meat is tender!☑️ Pressure Cooked Pig Trotters: They also have pressure-cooked chicken feet, both are their signature dishes. Rich in collagen!☑️ Stir-Fried Beef: Decent portion and tasty!☑️ Sweet and Sour Pork: Im particularly fond of sweet and sour dishes, and their version is excellent! The portion size is generous too.☑️ Celery and Bean Curd Skin Salad: A light and refreshing choice after indulging in carbs and meat.☑️ Milk-Flavored Steamed Buns: Very filling! Perfect for those who love steamed buns.

2023-07-21 14:01:00Overall, the food was good. The beef noodle soup was a different flavor than what Ive had at other establishments, but it was like an ok broth. The dumplings were pretty dang good. The dough tasted right, not thick and chewy. We also got red bean buns. Now, I dont like them, no matter which state or countries Ive lived in and tried them, but the ones here are delicious!

2023-09-27 02:41:48I am a huge fan of Special Noodle and tell all of my friends to come here! The soup dumplings are incredible, the broth is spot on. I personally love the clam noodle dish, chicken soup dumplings, spicy chicken mushroom steam dumplings and their string bean eggplant dish. YUM. Note that to order, scan the QR code on the table and do it digitally. Minimal interaction from the servers but things are accurate and dialed in.

2023-06-05 05:23:02I was somewhat disappointed with my dining experience. The only standout dish was the soup pan-fried buns, which were quite good. However, the Grilled Chilled Noodles were rather average, and I regretted choosing noodles instead of rice noodles for the Pepper Stone Pot Fish. I hope that my disappointment was simply a result of ordering the wrong dishes.

2023-09-07 21:42:36The food is amazing! Their pan fried dumplings are probably the some of the best Ive ever had. The ambiance is really nice as well a great date idea for sure. Ordering is super easy.

2023-11-13 02:14:08If you want or spend $24/dish to reinforce the cheap Chinese food stereotypes, this is the place to go. Every dish is precooked. I should have taken the clue when they have 章鱼小丸子 to 藤椒牛肉面。 The picture shows the exact color of 椒盐排骨,you be the judge!

2022-07-18 05:08:45The pan fried dumplings were good but not the best Ive had. There wasnt enough soup in them but the exterior was nice and crispy. The beef pancake was good but I enjoyed the bed hot pot with mala. Overall the good is decent and they do charge a premium compared to others establishments I have been to. A solid 3.5 but they havent really earned a 4 star in my books.

2023-07-02 02:14:54Legit wheat based northern Chinese food although some of the dishes were more sichuan flavored. The soup dumplings, chive pockets, and yummy bao and red bean buns were all delicious. The side dishes were copious with a little too much chilis. They didn’t tell you that you had to order using the barcode so we waited for 5 wondering where the menus were. The clientele was mostly Chinese. All and all, I’d come back.

2023-05-29 04:54:55Good sized restaurant that was full by 7:30pm on the weekend. QR code menu made ordering easy and we loved the dishes that arrived! Favorites were the eggplant green bean noodles, soup pan fried buns, beef wrap, and stir fried Chinese lettuce (though this ones a bit pricey at $19 a plate). I wouldnt recommend the leek pockets which are really really tiny and didnt taste that fresh.
