We ordered the plate #1, 2, 6.The sausage, pork belly, and rice were delicious. Better than waiting an hour at the New Year celebration. One surprise was the hot pepper sauce. It was delicious. Spicy, but delicious.

This food is so good. My husband had the big plate, i wanted the spring rolls and pork egg rolls. Up until I had these eggs rolls, I was never impressed. Egg rolls are good, sure, but I never *craved* them until after I first had these. My only complaint is that they’re not open late.

I am so glad that they are on Doordash and that their prices on the app is the same as their prices in-store, which their food is very reasonably priced for what you get. Thursday afternoon takeout order:Service: About 20 minute wait according to Doordash. Got there and waited a few minutes, which was fine. Kind, young lady up front.Khaub poob: $10.00. Good portion. Good flavors. Loved the nuttiness from the coconut milk. Got a good amount of quail eggs, but just wished there were more meat and bamboo.Boat noodles: $13.50. Some of the best weve had! Flavors were on point. Not too salty, not too sweet; broth was addicting. Great portion! Very well worth it.Happy plate: $12.50. Generous portion. All three proteins were cooked to perfection. Shrimp was sweet and fresh. Kids loved the teriyaki sauce!Overall, we are very happy that this establishment is a part of our small town and highly recommend them. We will definitely be back to support them and try the other food options that they have to offer.Update: (7/18/23)Knocked a star off. Have ordered multiple times since inital review and unfortunately, they havent been consistent with food quality. Didnt get pork blood in kapiak (kapiak was very salty) as added and didnt get extra chicken for teriyaki bowl, which I paid for. Also, the pork belly was seasoned with Chinese sweet bbq seasoning and was chewy when I ordered it. Will continue to support so as long as quality and service is up to par...

Small south east asian restaurant. Ate some for dine in and to go orders.I tried the combo with everything, pad see ew, and egg rolls.Pork belly, lao sausage and regular sausage was tasty, same flavor as what youd experience at other hmong places.Pad see ew was disappointing. All I could taste was little white pepper and oil. Wheres the dark soy sauce, or oyster sauce?Girl who helped me was super nice, super awesome. Excellent service. So theres another hmong restaurant in Oroville with similar menu, eveeything tasted the same so maybe same owner?Prices are reasonable for what you get.$10-15 a dish. Will come back for service alone, and try Pho maybe.

I love my Hmong businesses when I come to Oroville. Spicy Kitchen is one of my favs. They are great and generous with their portions. The owner was also very generous and donating to OHS PTSA as well. All the negative reviews must be other Hmong people just being bitter 🤫🫢. Can’t wait to again tonight with my family.

If you are in search of authentic Korean food this is the place. The food is very delicious and the portions are plenty. I got the Lao sausage meal with purple rice. There was enough for two meals. The noodles that came with it are awesome. I could eat those by themselves. The sausage was very nicely flavored and tastes like they came off the grill. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

The food was amazing. Like home cook hmong food. Was visiting my home town for the weekend and my sister recommended this place. It a small little restaurant. They take your orders first at the front like a fast food place. You pay and they bring you the food. Plus the portion is will worth the price. Definitely gonna stop here again whenever we visit.

If you want authentic Hmong foods, this is the place! It doesnt get any better.I usually take out, but theyre really fast. I give them 20 minutes, and when Im there, I literally just pay and pick up.My favorite part of this place is the sauces! Sauce is a small part of the food picture, but with Hmong food, they are staple and hand-made. Im impressed at how many sauces they have at the restaurant. Ive tried their pounded thai red chili, sweet & spicy sauce, spicy peanut butter sauce, and Hoisen sauce with peanut which are all very delicious. The chef must be passionate about foods ❤️🩷

Service was good however, their kaopoon noodles was very bland with no flavors (maybe some to go fish sauce would be a good idea). It was very oily. The bamboo shoot that was used was very hard to chew, and chicken breast was very dry. Quail eggs was a plus though. Thai tea was not that great either. Not sweet enough to my opinion, yet too creamy. I suggest try something else.

I have never seen such an unprofessional owner ever. Arguing and raising her voice with customers in front of the entire store. Right or wrong, I suggest learning to have thicker skin working in customer service. By the way she replies to negative reviews on here as well shows how immature she is. I wouldnt want others to support someone who runs a business like this. It seems to be a constant issue. Take your business elsewhere and support other small business owners.
