First time coming to this place! I ordered vegetarian Mongolian dish #1 and it was very good.It was a bit spicy so if it was less it would have been better.I was with kids and they couldnt eat as much due to spiciness but twas/flavors were good!Come if you love spicy foods!Cheers 🥂

I FOUND A WORM IN THE FOOD :(I ordered the Creamy Coconut Shrimp - Family Portion from this restaurant on DoorDash. I found a worm in the broccoli. DoorDash gave me a full refund on this order. I have attached the photos below, please take a look before ordering from here.

I dont let first impressions get in the way of trying good food so when I stopped by Target and saw that this place had some raving reviews, I decided to stop by.The restaurant itself is fairly small and definitely looks like more people order takeout than actually dining in, but it was still fairly busy which is always a good sign.I ordered the orange chicken with steamed rice which only came out to about $8 and tax. The portions were definitely more generous than Panda Express and the sauce was AMAZING. It had a strong citrus flavor that I love about orange chicken and it was made fresh to order.Also, if you check in on Yelp you can get a free fountain drink.

Their bowl of wonton soup was a meal in itself, with large, delicious wontons, tender shrimp and chicken. And Uber hot, temperature wise. Owner Joe was very personable and Laura helpful. I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back and see what else they have.

A recommendation from my boss led me here, so when cravings for noodles hit, a group of coworkers decided to make the rounds to gather the team for an outing.Located in the same plaza as Target and in the corner where you can Chicken Maison, Spicy Noodle House had a worthy following of lunch patrons lined up for take out, as well dining in-house. The service was very quick and a Yelp check-in will get you a FREE drink!Since I wasnt entirely hungry, I tagged along with the group to get out of the office, but eventually ordered way more food than intended. I started with a cup of hot n sour soup and an entree of orange peel chicken with fried rice. So much for not being hungry, right?The hot n sour soup in a cup was much larger than anticipated, but a pretty decent amount. I was hoping for some more heat, but they have condiments like white pepper, black pepper and sriracha if you want more heat. A nice touch! The orange peel chicken was SO MUCH food. They really fill the portions to the brim and dont skimp, which makes this place relatively reasonable for lunch.The orange chicken flavor was well done. It was crispy and the sauce wasnt too citrusy. The fried rice could have been better. It was probably just stir fried rice with soy sauce and very small bits of egg. Quite salty overall, but sort of balanced out if eaten with an entree or something. However, for the value of everything, I would definitely come by to try something else :)

Worst experience I’ve ever had. My grl asked for Mongolia beef plate and I asked for chow mein w/it instead of rice. Which is my least favorite. I asked for any kinda upgrade option or substitution. The old cashier guy there got upset and started to raise his voice at me for no reason, stated what you see on the menu is what you get. Wow! Good Food to Hospitality Ratio is less than 1 Star. So for being yell at like a child, I can take my business elsewhere. For Ex: BIG CHOPSTICKS! One of my favorite Chinese Restaurants. Probably #1

I was pretty excited to try the food here because of the photos and other good reviews.The vegetable egg rolls and hot & sour soup were pretty good. No complaints there.For the entrees, we did sweet sour chicken and a noodle dish. Portions were good and the food wasnt terrible, but it was just very bland. For the noodle dish, it was very light on the veggies. The chicken also had an off flavor, but it was edible.The inside seemed very clean and all the staff were friendly.I feel conflicted because everything was fine except the main dishes. Maybe it was a one-off, so Ill update the review if I try it again later.

I am OBSESSED! First time customer here. I did takeout at 5:36pm and all my food was hot and fresh! Everything tasted amazing. I tried the spicy noodle soup, egg flower soup, and crispy tofu. They give you so much food to where I will be able to make two meals out of this. I will definitely be back again and again!

My girlfriend thinks the spicy basil chicken is gods gift to this earth. For real though this place is really amazing. For sure the best Chinese youve ever had. Everything I order here is super tasty, always made to order, always tastes great even hours later. The staff is great and the owner is friendly. I really like the food, flavors are great, but I hate that theres rules like you can only choose this with rice or you cant have noodles with orange chicken. Then I have to order sides of rice or noodles depending on whats not offered with that flavor/protein. And then I cant have a side of say broccoli because it comes with rice. Its too much rice! Lol I wish we could have variety. The portions are large though, so if you order with a group of people you can share family style.

Been here on two occasions the frist time the fried rice was amazing ate the whole plate now that was one of those things that just melts in your mouth and takes you to savor town. Very affordable and delicious food. My personal favorite is the Spicy Garlic with a choice of meat. The service is quick, but the seating is very limited. You can also order to-go or call in advance for pick up.If I can change one thing, I would suggest having someone friendlier with smiles (as opposed to the owner?) taking orders and working at the register.

I was so excited to try this place. The reviews were good and the photos looked tasty. I had a question about one of their dishes so I called. A lady answered the phone and I began asking my question. She had poor English and she couldnt understand me. I even asked if there was anyone else I could speak with. She began talking to another employee but she returned to the phone without any answers for my question. I became frustrated and thanked her for time and said good bye. I understand this is a Chinese Restaurant and many of the employees are Asian. Thats not a problem. Having someone answer your phone who cant communicate with their customers..........Is a Problem! Im still curious about their cuisine though.🤔

We had the big bowl of noodle soup. Very big. The girl who took our order said it was a little spicy. My husband, who is from Mexico, loved it, but it made even his eyes water. It was way too spicy for me. Couldnt eat much. Otherwise, it was good.

I found this place from yelp reviews but it wasn’t as good as the rating was; which was around 4.5!First of all they serve all their foods in plastic to-go containers! What the heck? When my order was put on my table I was like “did you think I wanted my order to-go???” The waitress said no they all come in containers. That’s really stupid! You sit in a restaurant and they put the plastic container on your table which barely has room for the food itself.And second, the food was not good either. I’m not an expert of Thai foods but I was excited about the Thai Yellow Curry that I had tried in another restaurant and I took my wife to this place to show her what a treasure I have found “Thai Yellow Curry”! But I guess not, not in everywhere!

Orange Chicken like any other Orange Chicken, but Salt and Pepper Chicken is so excellent, order two servings! Mongolian Beef good, Chili Oil Wontons are good, they would be very good if they were shomai instead! Too much doughy flaps all over, it detracts for the flavorable meaty insides. I still need to try more dishes! Ask the employee you order from, their recommendations. They were the ones that recommended the Salt and Pepper Chicken! The peppers of this dish are as in the red ones, not black pepper.Go here!

Delicious food, huge portions, spicy but not too spicy. The dan dan noodles were especially popular in our group, but overall we enjoyed all of the dishes we got. Be sure to try the black bean sauce that they provide at each table - its a little sweet but spicy! Spacing is a little tight, the ceiling is taped, but the food is pretty good, so definitely stop by!

Great Chinese food option just a few minutes away from South Coast Plaza. The food portions are really big, which makes it a great value for the price. I really liked the fried rice and their chicken dishes (such as the Hunan Style Black Bean Chicken). The stir fried noodle dish we got (Lo Mein) was good, but a tad bit greasy. But all in all, we enjoyed it and it was a great place to grab a quick bite for lunch. Will definitely be back. It can get busy during lunch hour though so it may take a bit longer.

Excellent chinese food. Best Hot n Sour soup in Santa Ana in my opinion. Id give it five stars if they would use washable dishes as opposed to single use containers. Also, dont care much for Santa Ana Mayor Pulidos photo being on the wall with whom I presume is the owner or main manager of the restaurant. Pulidos held power for as long as I have been alive which is scary when you think about it.

Walked in to have lunch, and I ordered the chili oil wontons. I was surprised to discoverupon first bite that they were ICE cold in the center and still partially frozen. I mentioned this and asked the to remake it. They instead microwaved it for two minutes so that it was so hot I could not eat it. How to I know it was microwaved? Because the wonton I spit out was still in there.

I avoided it for a while because the previous owner ran it into the ground and but a new name and ownership really helped.
