2023-10-27 06:03:29Cozy Japanese restaurant. Mainly pasta dishes... Think Italian/Japanese fusion. Very tasty and flavorful.Parked in the small lot behind it. Theres also street parking. Wasnt crowded since it was a Thursday. Very friendly staff. Seated quickly. Lots of options on the menu. The bread was good but was over hyped by some of the reviews. The $1 salad was very good. It had miso dressing. You cant find a better deal. The mushroom and sea urchin with cream sauce was amazing. The tuna, dicon with lemon soy sauce was very refreshing and tangy.Prices are very reasonable. Will be going back again.

2023-08-11 21:21:27First time trying this place and it was a nice surprise. Portions are good sized. You must try their $1 salad - yes it’s only $1!!Small place so seating for large groups could be tricky. Parking available on the street or in the rear.Rumor is the owner made his own custom noodle boiler which speeds up food preparation. Love business that think about these things.

2023-07-14 07:49:34I was working in the area and looking for a place to eat lunch when I came across Spoon House Bakery and Restaurant on Yelp. I was intrigued by their Japanese-Italian fusion cuisine and their uni pasta, so I decided to give it a try.The restaurant has a blue exterior that makes it easy to spot. The interior is cozy and inviting, with a bar seating area where you can watch the chefs prepare your food.I ordered the #24 Spaghetti Mushrooms & Sea Urchin with Cream Sauce.. It was delicious! The pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was creamy and rich, and the sea urchin added a briny and buttery flavor that was amazing. The portion size was generous and satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.I really enjoyed my lunch at Spoon House Bakery and Restaurant, and I would definitely come back again to try their other dishes. If you are looking for a unique and tasty dining experience in Gardena, I highly recommend Spoon House Bakery and Restaurant. You won’t regret it!

2023-05-30 16:47:14Spoon House is undoubtedly the pinnacle of taste and value when it comes to spaghetti restaurants. With its unbeatable combination of mouthwatering flavors and affordable prices, Spoon House has firmly established itself as a culinary gem that is hard to surpass. Every time we pass through the Gardena area, we make sure to pay a visit to this remarkable establishment. One thing to note about Spoon House is that it always draws a crowd, resulting in a waiting line. However, this is a testament to its popularity and the exceptional dining experience it offers. Despite the wait, we eagerly anticipate our turn, knowing that the reward will be well worth it.During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of savoring three outstanding dishes: the Bolognese Meatball, Carbonara, and Japanese Style Cod Roe and Butter Sauce (tarako). Each dish showcased exceptional flavors and left us craving for more. The Bolognese Meatball boasted a rich and robust tomato-based sauce, while the Carbonara delighted our taste buds with its creamy and indulgent combination of eggs, cheese, and bacon. The Japanese Style Cod Roe and Butter Sauce added a unique twist, offering a delightful fusion of flavors that was both savory and satisfying. To complement the main dishes, Spoon House serves a fabulous baguette as a prelude to the culinary feast. The crusty exterior and soft, fluffy interior of the baguette provided the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful sauces, enhancing the overall dining experience. With every visit, Spoon House continues to impress with its consistently exceptional dishes, making it a standout among spaghetti restaurants. Despite the waiting line, the impeccable taste, reasonable prices, and warm ambiance make it a dining experience worth the anticipation.

2022-01-25 07:24:39This is a really good place and they have an interesting menu. Their food is worth the price and the wait was not too long. They have really good fusion food and all the ingredients seemed to work really well together. I would really like to give this restaurant more than 5 stars and I forgot to mention that the service was also really good. Food also comes with bread and butter. It is a small restaurant on the corner of a street, it doesnt have many seats.

2022-11-08 20:33:08Cute little place.. I had the steak meal.. It was more like a 4 course meal! The bread that they give in the beginning was very tasty. Started with a salad with amazing dressing. Then the steak came out on a sizzling fajita platter.. Soo huge and juicy! (Came with a lil plate of toppings) Then the seafood pasta came out. Very good! Then it ended with a lil bowl of yummy ice cream. Also it included coffe or tea.. Worth the price!

2022-12-08 23:26:10When we got there, it was almost empty, except for 5-6 customers. And yet within a period of 30-45 minutes, all the seats were taken. Quite impressive. Never been here before, and it stood out this evening among other places to check out. You won’t be disappointed. Go enjoy all kinds of spaghetti.
