Great place. They offer discount to La Verne students, food is good and good service. The spiciness is not always constant but it can be easily overlooked. The service from the taller young man who was manning register was great. Would recommend.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Genuine nice people working here. Ive tried many Korean restaurants throughout my years, this has got to be top favorite now. Quality of food is fresh and delicious. Had the Kimchi spam fried rice 👌soooooo good. Ramen 🍜with cheese🧀 delish🤤. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
My family has been coming to Spooners since December 2016. We always enjoy the Korean food. This last visit, they had us try the fried chicken wings which comes in original flavor ( which is more like a crispy chicken ) and sweet and spicy. The wings have been their best seller. I cant emphasize how delicious these fried chicken wings are! The wings were meaty, moist, and the batter was crispy for the original flavor and plenty of glaze coats the sweet and spicy wings. My personal favorite is the original flavor. These are really the best chicken wings I have ever tasted! So even if you arent into Korean food, you must come here and try the fried chicken wings. My mouth is watering just thinking about these wings and I just ate lunch!
Food was amazing, came out quickly and hot. I ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, which towered my plate. Staff was super friendly and manager was very kind, will eat here again
I half and halved the Korean fried chicken. It was a little salty but delicious. The fried rice was on point. It was fresh and mouthwatering. Its a definite must have.
I called and ordered for pick up. I was never told the price of the two meals I had ordered or that there would be an extra charge for meat. I informed the employee over three times no spice, however my ramen was pretty spicy. The noodles tasted cheap and were soggy. I had asked for two ramen bowls with beef and it was over $26 for the bowls. Was not impressed called to inform the employee about the food being spicy and she said it was medium spice and that it was not spicy. Overall was not happy with the ramen or the customer service.
As a Korean who spent most of my life in Korea, I can say that the food is really authentic and healthy. When I ate galbitang and several banchans, I felt like I was eating homemade food. Moreover, Andrew and Judy who run this restaurant are super friendly people! They do know how to take care of their customers. I highly recommend this place!
The food is not bad, but the restaurant speed of service can be improved. Colleague and I came in during lunch time once, it wasnt busy, and yet we waited forever just to have someone come by to take our order, and the food also took quite a while to come out. Lunch time is rush time so I would love to see the improvement in service speed for this hour!
My husband and I love this place! Authentic Korean food, generous portions, and great prices! And they have great all you can eat banchans at a self-serve station. The owners and the waitresses are ao kind! The owner gave me a free pack of cookies since I am 8 months pregnant. Spooners has become our favorite date night spot!
We were all set to eat pho for dinner and I told my wife... lets try Korean instead. This place was awesome. Authentic dishes, friendly service, everything tasted great. My kids loved it too
Ive been looking for a delicious korean place closer than diamond bar for some time, and i may have found it. We randomly drove by this restaurant the other week and decided to give it a try today. I had the kalbi tang and my husband had the kim chee jigae and they both were delicious! We will definitely have to return to try other things on their menu.
Their menus arent binded and theyre held together with a cheap folder from something out of the 99¢ store. Good is not authentic, any restaurant that serves orange chicken isnt authentic. Subpar at best and I dont know what the other reviews are saying but they need to get out more. Waitress was nice though...

Delicious! So satisfying with the best banchan. The bibimbap is our favorite and all the veggies are cooked so well. I dont know how they make vegetables taste so good.

My sister and I stopped in for Sunday brunch after Church. the menu said american breakfast until 11 with Korean not available till after 11, but they were happy to oblige when we asked to have Korean as well. We ate family style and completely enjoyed the bacon fried rice, Daeji bulgogi ( my apologies Ive likely butchered those words, Pork marinated meat in a skillet with onions and mushrooms) reigndeer sausage and eggs with rye toast, some type of bean sprout salad and a leaf salad, with fresh in house made kimchi. Delicious, Im certain we both overate. and I scored the leftovers. A must try.

Spooners is not your usual Korean restaurant name, so cant be too surprised that I was surprised :)Well gave them a shot and happy I did. Tried four different dishes because I just couldnt decide and was starving. All really good and all worth trying again. Only issue is that they had so many other dishes I wanted to try.Kalbi - delish. Thought the amount of meat was a bit light for the price, but it was really really good.Pork belly - One of my faves and not something I can eat often unless at AYCE KBBQ, so this was a treat. Came with all the fixings too. Definitely reorder item for me.Yukgaejang or spicy beef soup - another definite reorder. Well seasoned and tasty. Really hit the spot on a cold night.Jjajangmyun - black bean noodles. Another wonderful surprise. This is a dish usually found at Korean/Chinese specialty restaurants. It was spot on.Everything was packed well for delivery and came with enough side dishes. Would have like more kimchi, but can ask for that next time.

Me and my friend both ordered what we wanted and sat down to some great Korean music and 2 and 1/2 men (w/ subtitles) the food was great, my ramen was clean and delicious. The trio of clam shrimp and clam was great quality, the soup was a tad to spicy when I asked for no spice, but I am a white guy with terrible heat tolerance. They had great table service refilling the rice and salad on my companions dish while letting us try a whole order of the chicken katsue. Anything I didnt like was my fault for not ordering how I like it. I do have one complaint. The cigarette smoke from out back kinda permeates throughout the restaurant but as soon as I got my food the aroma immediately overpowered the smoke.PS they have high chews as you walk out.Good prices. And amazingly clean and delicious food.

You can trust that their hot-stone bibimbap is good.However, this is unlike most Korean restaurants: (1) no banchan (side dishes); (2) there are too many non-Korean and Korean-Western fusion dishes listed on menu; and (3) the price range is rather high (at least compared to those of Korean restaurants in Korean communities in Downtown LA, Rowland Heights or Buena Park).

The sweet and spicy chicken chicken...(left my husband speechless) for the 8 piece the price was amazing! As for my food I am very full and satisfied! The food and service is excellent! I sound like a thesaurus, for the word good ! You just made a new life time customer.
