What a neat find! It is tucked behind an auto repair shop, kind of in the alley. The food is great! Try the Joojeh plate and the Koobideh plate! The Freez Mix drinks are refreshing and have great flavor. They have both inside dining and a really nice outside patio.

I thought I was pulling into a car dealership at first, but then had all my expectations exceeded. I will stop by here every time we are hungry between Reno/Tahoe and the bay. Food was traditional and amazing, service was thoughtful and fast. Hands down recommend.

REMINDS ME OF HOME 😭❤️Everything we had was so delicious and tasted just like how my father-in-law makes it! We got emotional over how good the food was because we miss home so much. I wish this place was open more during the week because I guarantee it would be a huge hot spot for our family ❤️ looking forward to filling our bellies here more often!

Do not miss this place!!! It is located next to the RV place off chilies road. It is small. Blink and youll miss it. I had a lamb kebab over salad with a mama chai, which came purple and it is not a sweet chai. I liked everything.

The best place for lunch on the way from the Bay Area to Tahoe or on the way back! I wish they were open more days a week. Great kebab and side dishes.Update: visited this place again today - still my favorite place for lunch on the way to Tahoe. Chicken kebab and grilled veggies are delicious, they taste like home made food. I recommend it to all my friends.

Great atmosphere and the staff were very helpful when selecting food. The only downside is there was no lamb option that I saw, but I could be wrong. The food tasted great and the bottled soda we had were very interesting and tasty. Great spot for a quick lunch, parking is behind the dealership its attached to.

All I can say is YUM! Stand up Kabob does not disappoint. We ordered the Mini toasted kashk-e-bademjoon for an appetizer and it was really yummy, and I loved that the bread underneath was a little crispy. We also ordered their Sturgeon kabob appetizer which was tasty also, the sturgeon was not fishy at all and the tartar sauce with it was a perfect pairing. For our main dish we tried the Shah Koobideh (pictured) and the Joojeh plate. All was very tasty, flavorful, and authentic tasting. The best Persian food I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend trying!

Absolutely authentic food and atmosphere. It reminded me of some happy months I spent one summer back in the 70s in Iran!This is a place that could be a gathering place, and the food is out of this world. All kinds of great sandwiches kebab, eggplant, vegetable soufflé, cool delicious potato salad. Last time I was there they had an amazing vegetable soup with noodles. Ive been trying to go every week.5100 chiles is an easy stop off the Macep exit on the freeway great place to hang out and wait while the traffic goes by on Friday night !

Incredible food and warm, friendly staff -- this is my new favorite restaurant in Davis! Dont miss the ash e reshte or the gormeh sabzi, which were both phenomenal. The kashk e bademjoun and the kebabs were also excellent. Delicious rice with perfect tahdig every time! I am looking forward to returning so I can try the rest of the menu. Make a point of carving out time on a Friday to come eat here -- you wont regret it!

Great food in a slightly unusual industrial environment. Very tasty meat and quick and friendly service. Presentation could have been a touch nicer (maybe paper plates instead of the cardboard boxes). Overall a very good experience.

Astonishingly, astoudingly good. Maybe the best food in Davis. Get at least a small portion of the ashe if its available - the ghormeh sabzi is also great. Tea - food - service - all exceptional. No matter your plans on Friday night your time and money would be better spent here.

This place is so darn good! You should definitely stop here! Its one of the best weve ever had!!!The chicken kabob was juicy and well seasoned!!! The koobideh was also amazingly seasoned and fresh!!! The service is fast and friendly!Its located behind a car dealership and has a really cute outdoor area. The food is grilled right in front of you!!!The chef is from a woman from Iran!!! Great place with great food!
