Great shopping experience at Stanford Shopping Centre. This outdoor mall offers a pristine environment with well-maintained green spaces and even allows shoppers to bring their furry friends along. The variety of high-end shops including the iconic Louis Vuitton. Plus, the availability of both open and covered parking options adds convenience to the overall visit. Recommended for a leisurely shopping day.

Nice shopping mall. I came here with my daughter. I did not go with her to Nespresso. I sat on one of the benches and waited for her. However, I just took a few photos of the surroundings. I noticed they will have a new Japanese restaurant opening soon. It has been almost 40 years since I shopped at Stanford Shopping Center. It sure changed a lot. The only retail business I recognized was Macys.Since I live in Alameda and I dont drive anymore, I doubt if I will be here for a shopping excursion.

Excellent parking. Lots of food options. It was not as expensive as it once was. There are lots of well-off people with pearls and high skirts and heels in the winter. So lots of eye candy from those surgeries and tummy tuck lives are well seen here. But its a great atmosphere. Its not totally Christmas here yet. Theres a few restaurants and coffee shops here. Parking was fast. You pay only if youre here an hour or more.

My boys grew up in the shopping mall when they were very little, they loved the frogs which were at a fountain in the middle of mall, and were now moved to a side corner. They could watch the frogs and fountains for hours without getting tired of. Amazing! 😇😇😀😀

Shake shack is in this shopping center. Dont come here on the weekends, service is horrible. Waited 40 mins for fries and cheeseburger 🤬I got tired of waiting a asked for a refund. Came back on Monday st 1:50pm, but service was not great either.Paking is plentiful.

It’s a pretty good shopping center. Has a lot of high end stores but not as must variety when compared to Westfield. Bathrooms are always pretty clean and there are spots to charge your car. Also the food options are not too bad.

Its conveniently located in Palo Alto with many upscale stores go here of you really want to feel poor I do! I actually go here for just a couple of places the Nespresso store and the P.F. Changs theyre both tip top! The shopping center has beautiful flowers all year long its outdoors but in this California climate its fine. All in all a wonderful shopping experience to make you feel poor.

Lovely outdoor mall with plenty of higher end stores to choose from. Big department stores like Nordstrom, Macys, and Neiman Marcus anchor the smaller shoppes. Not a lot of shaded seating, only the outdoor public area near La Baguette, which seems to be the most popular spot at the mall. Parking is fine, not too difficult to find a spot. Some highlights include Max Mara Weekend, Velvet, and Vuori.

High end, not-enclosed mall with mid grade (Macys) and higher level stores lining the main corridors, which are clean, well lit and populated.Some of the narrow interconnecting passages are dark, not so clean and dont have the same high end vibe. One feels like hurrying to get out of there and into the mainstream, with the result that the stores in those spaces dont see much traffic.I also didnt get a sense of personal comfort, but perhaps thats just me. The warmth was missing.

Weekends incredibly crowd. Most just rip roaring through without thoughts of getting out of others away. Not enough charging spots. Im sure my thoughts will be based on time of day and week but this was probably a typical weekend. Also lot of foreign Asian visitors who doesnt seem to care if they get in your way or not. Little rude for my taste.

I was obsessed with the decor here. so many well groomed flower beds and gardens all around. Refreshing to the senses. There are high quality stores and good food. I visited the sprinkles here near the previous Tesla showroom and tried their salted caramel and I loved it.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful shopping malls in the world. Not only does it have a high-quality restaurants and even a supermarket, but it also offers high-end shopping experiences such as Tesla motors, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, and more. Stanford Shopping Center is a great mall with an open-air design and a wide variety of shops. The mall is kept very clean, which adds to the pleasant shopping experience. However, there is one significant drawback that hinders the overall experience: the lack of cell phone connection. Upscale, Hip open air mall with a lot of luxury brand stores, great eateries and coffee shops.Very well maintained and beautiful grounds - the ambiance is very elegant, inviting and relaxing. Excellent shopping mall. Easy to find and had a large selection of upscale shopping options. The floral and natural landscape all around the shopping center was beautiful. There was plenty of parking and we found easy access to all of the shots within the center. We had to ask one of the security guards for some direction, and he was very friendly and showed us where they have a digital map that is interactive to show you where youre going and where all the stores are located.

One of the most happening shopping center in the silicon valley California.. never missed this shopping center to shop around.. you can just name it... You will get all the luxury brands here from Europe to America to London.. fine dining places, coffee house and great bootique.. great parking.. very neat and clean, public restrooms very clean, good security. What a great collection of shops! The middle pathways consists of huge, colourful garden pots, artworks and outside seating areas. Understandably, devoid of shoppers on a weekday but perhaps full of life on weekends. I’ll time my next visit when hopefully it’s jumping of busy bodies ready to part with their dollars! I love to feel the energy of people rushing to and fro when in a mall.

Great mall for high end shopping. Its a beautifully built mall and lots of cushy outdoor seating. This mall has all the bells and whistles. Security guards on Segways, touch screen directories and dog friendly. It is quite a nice experience and the higher end tend to keep the intense crowd away.

This outdoor shopping center has some great art pieces scattered around its walkways, including an arboreal walk, statues, and fountains. There are plenty of bougie shops, locally sourced food options, and a Macy’s. Helpful signposts and maps display the shops you are approaching to help you navigate if it’s your first time there. There are three large parking lots so it shouldn’t be an issue.

10K reviewer here. I used to shop at this mall as it is safety, clean and close to where I live. Most of the time it is not busy, so if you want to go to a mall and hide yourself away, this is a better option. Although the luxury selection is not that great compared to valley fair and union square, they do carry some unique brands such as Neiman marcus, Brunello cucinelli and Hermes. The only downside is they don’t have good restaurants and mostly you have to go to Palo Alto downtown if you want some good food. Hope in the future the mall management can add more food&drinks.

Stanford shopping center is outdoor shopping mall and when I visited this place on a cool sunny day during our visit to San Francisco. It was a enjoyable time going through the various shops. We were impressed by a Tesla show room the sales person was very patient in explaining to us about all the technical aspects of Tesla. We visited other shops too and was equally good in customer service. We loved this place.

Its a high end shipping center, a lot of very luxurious items. And the surrounding environment is carefully maintained, so its clean and full of flowers, very beautiful. And the digital map panel is extremely useful, like a giant iPad, much better than old school map guide. Everything here is high quality and relaxing. The brilliant shopping center match the elite status of nearby Stanford University, only the best of the best of the best is staying here.

This malls exterior landscape with floral pots is absolutely beautiful. The mall has expanded enormously. Theres a little produce store that offers fresh fruit, several delicious restaurants, and so many shopping stores that will keep you coming back over and over again.

Yes, it has most of the major American/ Californian brands but I dread going here. Something about all the brands here that all clothes look exactly the same, just the brand name changes. The shades grey, white and black dominate each and every store and everyone visiting the mall also looks similarly dressed. I am aware how Californians have a relaxed fashion sense but it makes no sense to me to shell out top dollar for merchandise that looks the color of death. Everyone seems to be selling zombie colors and absolutely no life seems to sprout in any of the brands here. Ive tried Banana republic, Nordstrom, Macys, Eileen Fisher, Kate Spade and many more here but nothing seems enticing.People like it because it shouts sophistication and the whos who of bay area shop from here but everyone looks like the other person next to you. Nothing and no one really stands out. I am a fan of Colombian fashion, Korean fashion, Japanese styles, Parisian wardrobes but this mall is full of dull colors and patterns for me. Id rather go to LA, New York or somewhere outside the country to shop than shop here. :/That being said, the mall is pretty clean, store staff are mostly attentive and smiling and the mall is never full of mad crowd. Always an upscale vibe!

There are so many shops here! We love the free people store. They have excellent customer service and a great selection. They also have a LARGE lush store here which is Fab. We ate at Melt and honestly had the best hamburger Ive ever eaten. Make sure you eat the pickle on the side because its so good! Its a great way to spend a relaxing day. The LaBelle spa is also at the top of my list as far as spas go. They have a large variety of facials and massages you can partake in. Theres plenty of parking around here too which is very abnormal for our area.

A nice little OPEN mall with a small set of shops. It has enough parking space and good accessibility for the cabs drop off and pick up. There are lot of restaurants around with varied options. A beautiful outdoor shopping center. The flowers, garden beds and lawns here are always impeccable and a sight to be seen. My favourite stores are Sephora (recently renovated), Lush, Crate & Barrell and the Container Store. The grounds are always clean and very dog-friendly place also. Be sure to visit during the summer when they host free jazz concerts!

Its like Valley Fair in Santa Clara, but only in Palo Alto and its outdoors.Still, plenty of great shops and its nice to get some fresh air instead of being crammed indoors. Uncovered mall with gorgeous, seasonal flower arrangements, that are worth visiting on their own. Does get crowded on weekends but not nearly as bad as San Joses main mall. Theres always plenty of covered parking around Macys even on crowded days. Because its uncovered keep in mind that if its windy or raining, you will be exposed to mother nature.

People, be aware, this is a high crime area. Within 20 min of parking, I was robbed of literally everything. Once police arrived on-site, they were not surprised at all. However, this incident really hurt me and the Shopping center is literally doing nothing to prevent further crime. I am sure that Stanford shopping center believes that any alerts from their side would hurt sales. Nonetheless, I genuinely believed that this is a safe neighborhood. Their insurance is not even trying to cover damages although it happens on Stanford shopping center grounds. Bottom line: DO NOT GO THERE, EVER!

I have a few problems with this place.1. Everything is super duper expensive, and it is hard to go shopping here without spending hundreds of dollars.2. The sheer amount of burglaries at stores and people stealing purses and belongings from others. There are several arrests made here every day and the mall has a private security company now. However, that is still not enough for some stores, that hire their own bodyguards in addition to the mall security and the Palo Alto Police, who are often present.However, I do have to give the mall 3 stars because I enjoy the food options here, and while this definitely caters to ultra-rich, one can still walk around and enjoy themselves here for a day without spending much.

I went there for A test drive at Tesla and then explored Pottery barn near by. The whole area is a crowded place, there are many shops to explore but I couldn’t get time. I could cover most my shopping needs in one visit; in a rather compact area there is simply a great collection of stores and restaurants. First, a parking tip: Enter on Quarry or Sand Hill and park on the Nordstrom side. Beyond that, the center has aged well, and is easily the most beautiful mall in the region. The landscaping in late winter and spring is spectacular. The stores themselves are upper crust, and no vacancies are to be seen. Lots of changes over the years, but Macy’s and McDonald’s haven’t moved in 50 years.

A very enjoyable and clean place to shop and dine. They do have higher end boutiques and restaurant but some fun stuff for those of us who cannot spend too much money in one sitting. They have tons of places to sit and take a break and beautiful landscaping and architecture in the surrounding areas. This mall is definitely meant for visitors to Stanford and residents of the higher end communities around the area, not really for students. Most of the stores are higher end, highly priced, or not relatable to students. There are some restaurants and treat spots around the perimeter that are more student-budget friendly, but the majority of the mall is all high end clothing that is not realistic for students. Go East to Mountain View if youre a student, not here.
