Look no further, tons of sushi restaurants on this block, stop here! My brother and I were driving around the valley looking for sushi spot at 8 pm on Friday evening and other spots were long wait or closing by 9 pm. Saw not much reviews on this place so was stoked to see what this spot is about.Well my brother and I were so glad we did! One of the best spots weve had, and Ive had sushi in motherland. When it comes to Los Angeles standard this place is the benchmark. The sushi and rolls here are not saturated with rice, its a perfect balance of fish with rice. Also their rice is delicious!Tried lots of items but you cant go wrong with anything here it seems. We ordered Toro, and baked salmon roll with eel and avocado and edamame with baked scallops.The service here is wonderful too! The owners are here jump starting the place and theyre lively and very sweet. The green tea is great too, the owner tries and drinks a lot of tea on her own time so she selects the stuff that she would drink herself. Make sure you try the mochi! Definitely coming back for other specials.

This is my new favorite sushi in the valley! Very fresh fish, carefully prepared and with excellent flavor accents - traditional and subtle complements never overpowering the delicious flavor of the fish. Also they carry several relatively unusual fish - dont sleep on black snapper. Crispy rice with spicy tuna is everywhere these days, but this version is the best weve had. And theres a lovely little patio set off from Ventura for outdoor dining, especially nice as theres still a pandemic on, and underground parking.

I dont often take time to write a review but Im so thrilled this place has opened as their sushi is excellent and I love their creativity. They do some things that other people do not but for the purest, they will be happy with the classics as well as their quality is really amazing. I had so many places come and go especially because of covid that Im really hoping we all go support them and keep it open. Its so great to have that neighborhood find that is not just okay because its close but excellent and worth driving to.

Fantastic sushi. Fish was very fresh and rolls were delicious. Staff and owner are friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back again.
