Great got a great meat and seafood counter. I was able to get two pieces of nice catfish for dinner. They also have the Arizona tea called Just Tea that I like in the gallon jug. Ill be definitely go back

Look they have great produce abd meat . Their asked are neat abd well considered. Its clean abd the withers are nice and knows what theyre doing. However the prices are sky high and the only deals offered are digital or need Mee to buy three or more which isnt usually practical for a single person. I cant have three gallon of ice cream or three 12 packs of coke. I live on a fixed income in a small place. Most of the deals are about jun food not stables I go there because Food 4Lesd has become just as pricy without improving much. Will be driving to WinCo at night (too far too hot too much traffic) next month.

Looking at weekly advertising page I saw chicken in vinegar and salt so I drove the 11 miles to get some. Only to be told nobody knew how to cook it. I then decided to order the 8 pieces for 9.99 only to discover when I got home that they placed 4 pieces of breast,4 chicken wings and 1 leg. Not what I ordered. I called back up there,was placed on hold and they hung up after 34 minutes of being on hold. False advertising and just throwing whatever in the box has made me decide that this place doesnt look out for we the people. Just our money.

I love this store its not very big but it has everything I need. The customer service there is top notch everybody there seems to be very nice from the checkers to the baggers to upper management. Prices are so so but the quality of the produce is top-notch so expect to pay more unlike Walmart which I refuse to buy any produce at any more but always goes bad after a day

I LOVE Stater Bros. I drove a truck for them and retired there! Best company I ever worked for!But the last few times Ive shopped at the Barstow store, the produce hasnt looked all that great! In fact several moldy and rotten red onions! They act like they dont even see it after I mention it to them!And PLEASE bring back Lindys taco sauce! Ive been using that since I was a child growing up in Colton!Thats all I have to complain about! Everything else is good! Especially friendly staff! That was one of my stores on my route and I worked with Randy a lot! Hes an excellent worker! Always on top of things! I wish he had been there to see the rotten red onions! He would have taken care of things!!

Fresh looking produce and meat. Had the Asian salad dressing another store stopped selling. They had some different diet/sugar free/zero drinks and things we cant find or are never in stock in the other store. As diabetics we like having options. Prices depending were about the same or a bit more than the discount stores but we will definitely be back for the stuff like the dressing that I cant find elsewhere!

I love shopping here as they have great customer service and a wide selection of items! I would give this store 5 Stars but it always seems to be a hot spot for violence such as shootings and, most recently, a “bomb” in the parking lot. I get very nervous when I have to go in. I try my best to get in and out as quickly as possible but the lines are usually very long.

Great store, They have a very good selection of meats, produce, canned goods and so forth. They offer freshly made sandwiches and fried chicken that are really good to get. There are plenty of deals, just need to sign up for their digital deals to save by using your phone number at checkout. Fresh produce quality is great, meat quality is pretty good, though they tend to leave the meat in the case exposed to air and it browns a little. The rest of the store is well organized and kept as clean as they can, lines can sort of slow down at times, usually though they are quick. One of the few stores that will still stay open during a power outage for a bit.

The store is nice and organized. Very clean. I was able to get what I was looking for in a short amount of time. The woman who helped me at the check out was also really nice too. I normally shop food for less but I needed something that Walmart or food 4 less didnt have. I could not believe the prices there. I live on SSI only and food and gas are so high that after I get both I no longer can go anywhere. If it continues I will go hungry and wont be able to go to my doctors. Im at a loss. I want to express my gratitude to Harry, one of the managers.He truly went out of his way to help me on one of the worst days Ive had in a while.After shopping in the store I went out to find that my car wouldnt start.I left my brother with the car and took the things I knew wouldnt survive the heat and walked home with them. Unfortunately I didnt do well on the walk and by the time I made it home I was very near a heat stroke and knew I wasnt going to be able to walk back as I had planned.I called the store and asked to speak to a manager so I could let my brother know I was not able to walk back.Harry took an early break and brought my brother home and brought my groceries in.I havent run into someone so thoughtful and kind in a very long time. It really reminded me that there are still caring people in the world.I will never forget his kindness to me!!

All hands down LITERALLY BEST STATER BROS! I’ve been to many other Stater Bros Markets everywhere from down the hill in Hacienda Heights to Fontana and San Bernardino. I have gotten so used to ours here in Barstow that I get hit with a little bit of culture shock every time I’m in a different area. I expect the same friendly service and familiar faces and smiles but I cannot deny that there’s no place like home. I’m sorry to say but I’ve actually stopped going to stater bro markets unless it’s ours here in Barstow.

The only thing I didnt like about the Barstow Stater Brother is the manager allows all dogs in the store not just service dogs all dogs dirty dogs including by the deli. Now as far as the deli goes and the service employees back there Michelle is awesome, she can slice your meat as thin as you want or as thick as you want shes very good. I didnt feel like fighting all the local traffic so I took National Trails Highway to Lenwood and got on the 15 towards Las Vegas and got off on the 247 exit and it is like a block away. I get what I want and get back on the 15 and then National Trails and Im home and unloaded in less time than driving to Apple Valley in all the local traffic and I missed about a dozen traffic lights. The store is good opening more check out lanes when their busy. The produce is really nice. Great store.

Best place in town to shop, I had an experience in there today and thank God for their manager Jerry lock my keys in the car and Im on 24-hour oxygen in my oxygen was inside the car thanks to him, he helped me get the car open and help me get my oxygen out you went Way Beyond his job I did everything he could to help me stay calm I was going to be hysterical and he just kept me calm, and Miss Rita whats fantastic she knew the situation and she just sat there talking to me and keeping me calm which really helped me to keep my mind off my problems at the moment my heart goes out to Stater Brothers and their wonderful employees God bless you all

THANKS FOR BUYING ANOTHER SCOOTER. REALLY HELPS.Staters does not care about their disabled customers. Down to 2 scooters. All I hear is people break them and steal them yea I know. Its like listening to a baby whine. I see the people who are doing that and I dont think its the disabled. As I explained to the manager, its a cycle. You have to replace them periodically. Prices have gone sky high at this store. I have been shopping here 30 years. I bet you have the budget. You choose not to spend it on scooters. Went to Stater Bros this Sunday morning. Found all on my list with no hassle. Stopped by the butcher meat area. Got some awesome baby back ribs. Ask the butcher to take off the skin on the back of the ribs. To my surprise he did. I was very pleasedUpon check out only one lane open with 3 people behind me and one in front. It was 10 AM now with no other checkers in sight. Thats the only disappointment for shopping this beautiful Sunday morning July 1st 2018

Heavily understaffed at checkout. None of the accoutrements of the common Stater bros. This seems to be their lower economy markdown storefront. Every belt at checkout is extremely dirty, trying not to put your groceries on someone elses mess is like playing minesweeper. Not nearly as much selection at this store, skip this one and head to Victorville if you want to go to a staters thats worth your money.

Great prices but the staff is not very friendly. I put my produce in one plastic bag to save on plastic and got lectured about the return policy? This makes me wonder about the food if people are returning items so frequently that I needed a lecture about the return policy. The lecture distracted me from asking for paper bags instead of plastic. So, now I have a bunch of plastic bags too. This was my first trip to Staters and it wasnt a good one, Ill be going back to Vons after this. They have a much better staff.

Convenient to have a shopping center here. With a Stater Bros Market, Love the Panda Palace Chinese food, has a donut shop, smoke shop, a Red Baron Pizza, a shipping store which does UPS or FedEx, a tire and oil change place which did great the 1st time but horrible the 2nd. Whenever Stator Bros has a weekly special, this Stator Bros actually stocks the special (e.g: discount meats for example, and in particular).I live half-way between Barstow and Victorville. The problem with going to Victorville is that I have to travel 12 miles south on Hwy 66, now considered the 8th most dangerous stretch of road in California. The stretch of Hwy 66 to Barstow is virtually empty, and safe. Given the choice, Id rather be safe and get whats advertised.

Loads of handicap parking. 3 Power carts but if its not available then any of the baggers will push the cart. Now the store is tight so no wild driving. Rarely are there any holes on the shelves. In last 4 years I have only come across one expired item, which compared to the other grocery stores V & W. Most of my positives dont apply to the V&W. Also Stater Bros was started as a mom & pop, however I am not sure how its run now. They also carry just about everything in Organics. Lastly I have one serious issue. Long lines; they have fewer clerks, now they will open lines. Having worked as an express cashier eons ago, my recommendation is to be prepared for burst customers by having registers pre-counted, back up cashiers and keep them there until the rush is over. I have serious physical limitations and when I walk in and see the 3 lines open with the entire front walkway full of waiting customers; I walk out and head over to my backup store.

One of my favorite places to shop for my groceries here in Barstow. Always a great deal on the cases of water. Also the best place to pick up dry dog food really reasonable prices in a variety of foods.

Stater Brothers has an excellent meat and deli depts. The whole store is great. In the shopping mall is a fresh fish store, excellent fresh selection. Good prices, accepts ebt cards, also features a you buy we fry. Gotta try it! Smoke Shop is the least expensive with always fresh tobacco. The employee is friendly with scintillating conversation. The little liqour next to the fish place has best prices in town. Most friendly employees! A Red Baron Pizza is almost next door to Stater Bros. Good and tasty pizza with full salad bar and 🍺 on tap. Great Lunch Specials. You could spend a good amount of time with friends and family. Fantastic Sams I would avoid unless you are going for a lap dance, not much on haircuts. Oh oh Metro PCS basically caters to minorities, not big on the white folk!

Unlike any other Staters Bros I have ever shopped at.Mostly great staff, clean store, only issue I have is the meat I get. Usually like every other stater bros I been to they use their brand zip lock baggs not plastic bags. My meat is always gross the next day. The guy wrapped my pork roast and about 2 lbs of it was touching only paper and was stuck to it. Thanks Staters!! Nice upgrades! Upgrade your meat department you should NOT be without boneless chicken breast for days either. Why does it always smell funky too??!

Dont like stater brothers parking lot. My youngest son was attacked there twice once i January and once last week. Both attacks were un-prevoked for bo reason what so ever. First one he was socked in back of head. And second time tackled to the ground and now has a fractured elbow. This isnt looking good for the safety of the customers.

I am a handicap U.S. Army veteran walking using a walker for all my physical and mental impairments and the manager hold me outside sitting in my walker and daughter to enter us a last person, bad service for those we server our country.
