This had been our neighborhood grocery store for over 3 years. Upon meeting the “store manager” Collin today we will never shop here again.I’m not sure if he is racist or doesn’t approve of individuals in the lgbdtq community, but to say “my lifestyle” would be better served by either another location, or another grocery chain entirely in front of customers in the produce section was absolutely inappropriate. I set my stuff down, let him know he was highly out of line, left and will not return.I very much hope others do not have to experience the bigotry of this manager. Individual’s like this should not be in customer facing positions.Regardless of him saying he was having a bad day. There is no excuse to treat customers or employees disrespectfully.Upon leaving the store I saw two checkers who I know by name and I mentioned to them about the interaction I had just had with their manager (Collin), they both said “I know I’m so sorry, he (Collin) is why we have both been trying to transfer as are other employees”.It is unfortunate their corporate office has not taken employees complaints seriously.So I can’t imagine they will customers.Do yourself a favor and just shop elsewhere.

Very clean & organized!! The only complaint I have is that all the shopping carts were in the parking lot rather than inside where you can grab one & go from. So they need to hire a shopping 🛒 cart attendant.

Great local Stated Bros. The manager is very sweet and helpful. Seems like she never goes home as she is always there when we go. Produce is good and the meat is always fresh. Love the new produce station. Helpful staff as well. Always has parking and lines are much shorter than the other Staters in the area.

I rarely go into this store. Only if I need a couple things and it’s on my way home. I really don’t like it, the prices aren’t great and service is typically well below average. However, last night I had the sweetest lady cashier named Beth. She just had such a wonderful, kind personality and actually took the time to talk to me like a real person. In addition, she cared and asked how I wanted my groceries packaged. The stater bros should have her train the rest of their employees on customer service. Thank you Beth!

This used to be the place to go for beef. No longer. I went in for a Chuck roast for my crockpot and they did not have one so the butcher talked me into another cut of meat. Said it would be tender and flavorful. It was a piece of rubber. A 22 dollar piece of tasteless tough piece of meat. I could not serve to anyone. Not even my dog.

I hate to give this rating because its my neighbor store, but it seems everytime I go in there its stressing. Either they dont have what Im looking for, or I cant find it. Then, amost always its extremely hard to get anyone at the deli to help you! And once they do, they dont understand the concept of cutting cold cuts and cheese thin. And if you insist, you get attitude and they pile the cheese on top of each other and you can forget trying to sperate it when you get home. Other stores they separate slices with paper but not this one! I usually stop elsewhere.

Clean and neat. Theyll ask if you want a mask as you enter. If you say no thanks the guard will let you go on in. Prices in the store are about a quarter higher than in other staterbros. Not that it matters. The store is well stocked and people are okay. Not special but okay.

A very pleasant supermarket to shop at, very clean, and the staff is wonderful! Lately they have been having difficulty keeping the shelves stocked though, but that has been very common in many stores since COVID-19 began and moreso since the more recent truck driver shortages. All things considered, its still one of my favorite stores to get my grocery shopping done.

So I figured the last time, she was maybe having a bad day. This morning I went back in and went to checkout aisle number 1. The blonde cashier with the glasses. No greeting, no good morning, no nothing. She rang up my items in silence. When she was finished she handed me my receipt with no thank you. When I said thank you to her, she pretty much gave me the look of death. I said wow and left the store. Someone really ought to give this employee a lesson in customer service. I have had many pleasant experiences in this store, especially from the friendly, professional young female manager.

My favourite stater bros hands down. The employees here remember my whole family and I and are so welcoming and amazing to us. I want to recognize George who always comes up to my 6yr old daughter and I and greets us with such high spirits. He deserves so much praise. Clean and updated store & the staff is helpful by always checking up on customers. I love coming here at night because the lines are extremely short and it’s a bit more peaceful shopping. They also allow requests at the butchers! I’ve ordered pork belly & oxtail and it came in a few days later.

I called the store with a birthday balloon emergency and Daniel totally helped me figure out my order and prepared it for me while I was on my way. When I got there it was ready. I first came to this cathedral city store about a year ago because its right down the street. Every time theres a misconception in a few employees whenever I shop, maybe its the tattoos I can think of no other reason I get followed, a second worker comes to the register when I pay..I notice it but never say anything but today was my last day here, Im not illusioned that my business will be missed I however know how your suppose to treat a customer regardless of the persons look. I hope the employees Im talking about one day have a open mind about everyones walk if 🧬 fe.

Since their opening I have shopped here. Its prices are good, its staff is outstanding, and its clean and well stocked. They have a service deli, bakery, meat counter, and floral dept. As well as lottery, coin redemption, can & bottle redemption, Western Union, and Chase bank too. I highly recommend this Store!

Today I rounded the corner of Stater Bros. Markets on Vista Chino in Cathedral City to see 4 facings of Chick-fil-a sauces.This store has a very large gay customer base. I am very disappointed in Stater Bros for making this decision. It is no secret that Chick-fil-a has chosen to stand strong in being a visible sign of hate & homophobia under cover of their religious beliefs. I’m saddened that my neighborhood Stater Bros has this hurtful label on their shelves. Is Stater that out of touch or making a statement?

Customer service is great for the most part some of the dry food needs to be Shuffle around bought a few things and some of them were expired months ago no rotation. Make sure you watch out for the parking lot too when its windy and the other customer doesnt care about your car getting hit by his cart neither does Stater Brothers now Im $600 to $800 out-of-pocket paying for it

Stater Brothers is a great place to shop the produce is always nice and fresh Chris and delicious and the person working in the produce a tall gentleman usually picks out the best watermelon and fruit for you if you ask. on todays occasion we were a little disappointed to not find uncooked ham in the meat department the kind that you can make ham and eggs in the morning or put on the BBQ Grill thats our only complaint. I highly recommend Stater Brother

The cleaner of the two Stater Bros markets on Vista Chino. Large market with wide variety of consumer choices. Meat department is outstanding! So is the deli. The only thing I can say that needs work is the checkout lines. They are usually way too long and it takes them too long to get an extra checkout cashier in place. This is an issue at every Stater Bros market that I have been to. Otherwise a great market choice!

I used to enjoy shopping here, but not so much anymore, which is why so have not been there in awhile. I do not know what changes are going on and if they are temporary changes or permanent changes but do not like the changes and hope it is only temporary. There used to be 2 entrance and exits and now there is only one so parking is always a pain. Then inside the store some of the aisles have changed and have dead ends so you have to go all the way around instead if being able to go up an down each aisle as normal.

This store is only 1/4 mile from my house, but I often drive 5 miles to the nearest Ralphs for a better selection. Some of the problems are due to the small size of the store, which means they dont carry much variety, and high-end goods are usually not available. The employees are friendly and helpful, but until recently, there were always 2 or 3 people in front of you in line at the checkout. They have recently hired additional staff, so lines are shorter. There is no self-checkout. Some items are misplaced: Kayro corn syrup is located in the breakfast foods area, and not in the baking supplies where it belongs. It does have a superior meat counter: they actually appear to cut meat on site, which Ralphs does not. Shelf labels are often not consistent and confusing: red bell peppers are sold in two varieties, with one being $1.00 a pound more, with no explanation for the difference (and sometimes mislabeled). They have recently improved their produce selection, and now carry a decent variety of organic produce. There is no sign indicating that the Buy 4 packs of canned soda discount deal applies only to products from the same supplier - you have to know that 7up is a Coke product and not a Pepsi product. It took me 20 minutes to find a can of pumpkin, and the employees did not know where it was. Theres no club card - you have to sign up online to get discounts. Prices for frozen vegetables are almost double Ralphs. They are excellent at enforcing their mask policy during the coronavirus pandemic, and for that reason, and because they are trying hard, Im upping them a star.

Service in this market Stater Brothers was very upsetting today. Lets begin with the very long lines that build up with only two registers open, this happens constantly. Today on October 4th 5 30 p.m. the lines got so extreme two additional registers were opened after waiting for a while. As soon as those additional registers opened one of the employees raced to beat me and get in front of the line. This kind of behavior cannot be compared to any measure of good customer service. Customer service, when you are an employee, whether or not you are on your break or working should be NUMBER 1. Every other Stater Brothers I go to has exceptional service. I am forced to come here because it is the only Stater Brothers near my home and closest market. I dont mention the name of the woman because I was so upset I did not even bother to look at her name tag. I dont think this person should be fired which is why I wont even bother to find out her name. But I do think employees should at least be better trained than that.

Low prices and decent service but quality control on fresh goods here is ABYSMAL. I’ve bought fresh herbs that wilted the next day, fruit that was partially rotted on the inside, and both pork chops and sirloin that turned out to be really sh*tty cuts of meat. I could go on. I really wanted to like this store as I just moved into the neighborhood and it was nearly walking distance. But alas, I usually find myself going to Albertson’s or even Walmart, both of which have MUCH better quality of fresh goods at the same price. This place is really only useful for booze and dry goods.

I moved into this neighborhood a year ago and started shopping at Stater Bros. right away. My experience at Stater Bros. on Sunrise & Vista Chino was always good but the service at Landau & Vista Chino near my new home is exceptional.The employees always greet me with a cheerful hello, meet my gaze and ask if they can help me. They give the impression that they enjoy their jobs. If there is a sudden rush in the check-out area more help is immediately summoned. In my experience, this is a service unique to Stater Bros.In comparison shopping I have found that Stater Bros. prices are usually lower than competitors. Prices on popular wines are lower when I take advantage of bulk buying. Some prices beat even COSTCO and Walmart. And I dont have to clip coupons and buy for an army.In my opinion this Stater Bros. is doing everything the right way. Thanks to Store Manager Ryan, the Management Team and all the Team Members.
