This is a very nice hot pot location that popped on our search in Concord. Located in downtown among all the shopping centers around. Prime location and open until 12AM midnight. The broth and meat options are more than adequate! We got the Chicken spicy base with Chicken meat, long bean sprouts, corn, ramen noodles and fried tofu. All tasted good with more than happy hotpot experience. Staff were super humble and polite. Definitely a GOTO hotpot in Concord.

The restaurant was very clean. We ordered a hotpot and some skewers. Food was okay but service was terrible. We didnt get all the orders until we asked the waitress. Should focus on attending to customers rather than chitchat among themselves.

Food was good but service poor. Party of five, Our first time there, not sure how things worked, and the Waitress wasn’t very helpful. Appetizers arrived after main course arrived. Only checked back on us once at the end of our meal. Attractive and clean atmosphere.

Very good spot for hotpot. If youre looking for hotpot this is a solid choice.Family style soup and ingredients but you can go a split soup and have two soup bases.Good selection for meats and veggies. We got the house soup base and it was very good.

Delicious and great quality food with coupled with amazing and fast service. The spicy broth is worth it and their macaron ice cream sandwich is so so good too!!Update 02/2017: theyve improved even more than last time! Provided better quality utensils, the menu was way nicer looking and the food quality was great as usual. Pic #2 and #3 are from this visit.

I enjoyed our meal, BUT was shocked when I saw the tab!!! Was not expecting it at all.😮Editing for more comments: With the kind of pricing that the customers pay, at least offer real plates, not paper, real utensils, glasses, and bowls ... not plastic! Eating soup out of a plastic to-go container is so tacky to me! And with very high heat from boiling soup, it affects the food flavor, giving it a dash of plastic taste! Not healthy, not savory!!I hope the management rethinks details of the whole package that they give patrons. Make it worth it in $$$, and in overall experience. I think thats just fair!

Surprisingly I enjoyed the food here. I came here after an excellent massage from the Far East massage parlor next door and wanted to grab a bite to eat with some co-workers and we ended up here giving it a second chance.The skinny long mushrooms are bomb the spicy sauce is where its at and I totally enjoy their selection of food and veggies prices arent too bad I recommend it. The sake didnt care too much for the Apple sake. Best part of all parking is free here depending on when you come parking maybe at the very front of the door or a few feet away in the parking lot its a busy park and shop area.Pictures really dont do justice on how good the food and the look of everything was.Update: I brang a different friend here late one night his( first time/after work) & no joke he went into a food coma & slept in his car for a bit. He enjoyed the food that much. It was hilarious.🤣👌

This place is so tasty. The cost can get high pretty quick, but you get a ton of food and an amazing experience, so if youre splitting with at least one other person its definitely worth it. Lots of options for ingredients. One of my favorite places now, will definitely be coming back.

Steamboats spicy lemongrass soup base was delicious, all the ingredients were fresh, and there was a good selection of meat and veggies. I highly recommend the fish tofu.This place is on the expensive side though, so be prepared to pay at least $20 per person.

Here’s the deal—this place is NOT Chinese hot pot. It’s more like Shabu Shabu, which is good, if that’s what you’re looking for. I’ve tried dozens of places (mostly in China, but several great ones in Northern California) and all of them have had some variation on the Szechuan/Chongqing style spicy soup. You know the one, with peppercorns and chili peppers floating near the top, a numbing spicy flavor, bright red color. Most places will also have other choices like Thai-style soups, but they’re not the star. I’m my opinion the soup is what makes hot pot special and elevates all the food you cook in it.Steamboat has no spicy soup. They have one that is named “spicy”, but it’s more like an herbal soup with some peppers thrown in. It definitely did not have the right taste.They also purport to have bbq skewers (shaokao) but where most shaokao places have a spicy seasoning mix with red pepper, cumin, and like 10 other amazing spices, this one had cumin, black pepper and… sugar? I’ve never in my life had a sweet Chinese bbq skewer. They’re usually spicy street food that goes great with beer, but these were just baffling.The service was good in our first (and final) visit, so I bumped it up to two stars, as I think you have to have a truly terrible experience to give one. This was not terrible, it was just bland and disappointing.

They told me the owner changed. And they brag about how they changed everything in a good way (like how they fry the popcorn chicken differently) but all I can see is the sauce tastes watery and fishy ((it used to be great) I used to come here often and I gave a five star review (which I just deleted) to this place.) They added water (or whatever) in the Sriracha its so obvious when you shake the bottle you can see it and its a totally different texture if you pour it out. (Try pouring it out into another sauce you can see it clearer) They mix the leftover sauce with the new sauce (we requested more sauce) in front of everyone (yes on our table in front of us we were all starring at her (the owner/manager)) I mean I dont have problem with that I know restaurants do that but in front of my eyes? She just doesnt seem like she cares. I went to the bathroom it wasnt so bad. (hey guys, always go to the restroom of a restaurant, thats what they let you see) But in the bathroom I heard people in the kitchen sneezing... A lot, and hard. Sick chef in the kitchen? What? I had a friend who used to be working here, and he/she (dont wanna expose he/her) said the owner forced them to sell stuff, go to every table and brag about their food and new ownership. He/she is an introvert so he/she hated it. I just thought it was super annoying when they do that (go to every table bragging about their stuff) but it seems like they stopped doing that now. People who went there late August would know what Im talking about. I really wish they would change some of these problems after seeing this review. Customers can see it, we are not blind. Prices definitely went up but service was still great and the dim sum was tasty! If youre after the hot pot Id suggest going to an all you can eat hot pot restaurant otherwise watch the bill cause you can easily expect $30-40 per person. I was disappointed that they started using plastic utensils and paper plates even in 2022.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Ingredients were fresh and hot chili oil was tasty. Reasonably priced and perfect dinner hangout for a cold day.Quality is consistent. Their skewed sausage and shrimp are very tasty. Their hot soup base is not as spicy as I wanted but their chili oil helped out. Their sausage are surprisingly hotter than a hot link and their roast corn can be a bit on the saltier side. Go for their traditional meat. I didnt find the seafood that specials and its something you can skip unless you dont eat red meat. Even though the plate looks small, looks can be deceiving so start off with about three plates person and order more as you see fit.This place does get packed during dinner time so either come close to 5:30PM or see if you can call in for a reservation. They have an ice cream macaroon station which was a good finish to a spicy meal.

Come here during odd hrs to be seated quickly, wait can be long otherwise. Their prices for side orders, I think, is a little on the high side but its definitely a great place for groups/families.

I was first introduced to this place years ago and have loved it since, finally made it in lastnight as well. My very first hot pot place experience! Love sharing this location with my friends. Staff are always welcoming and nice, and honestly I just love the whole vibe and ambience of the place and of course the food is delicious! I really really really enjoyed this spot. They get docked a star because the hostess/waitresses had a confusion, told us that our seat was ready and some other waitress sat another party where we were seated and we had to wait for someone else to leave. Its a smaller place so it gets packed easily. The waitress apologized, made it up to us by giving us free drinks all night, but still that confusion and management/ownership change (that the waitress said was happening) shouldnt have affected customer quality. Im a harsh yelper but 4 stars is still good!

Winter time is perfect for hot pot and I was happy to find out there is one in my neighborhood! Steamboat is clean, spacious and food quality is pretty good. This is not an all-you-can-eat hot pot place so you do need to pay per order. We got their half half pot, which contains one side of regular broth and the other side spicy. It came out pretty good although it wast spicy enough for me. I am sure you can ask them to make it hotter though.Overall, we were full and the bill came out to be about $15 a person with tip. It is pretty fair and the wait is manageable if you come early. Glad to have a Hot Pot joint in town!

The portions are also very. if you like spicy stuff but are afraid its going to be too spicy, dont worry its not, its perfect.we went there today and actually made a mistake on the beef that I ordered and they took it back and gave me the one that I had intended on getting in the first place. My daughter and I enjoyed this place so much we are definitely taking the rest of the family to experience this dining. the staff is very friendly, the food was super good, so many varieties. The place is super clean, a nice place to take a date. All of our experiences here have been incredible. The host staff are always so friendly and accommodating for my daughter making it very baby-friendly. Our last visit we were running late and arrived 30 mins before closing and we were still treated so graciously and not rushed at all even though we kept them late. Very tasty and elegantly presented sushi rolls. I especially liked the baked Lion King sushi rolls containing salmon, avocado and savory spices. I know that sushi, by definition, is supposed to contain cold cooked rice, raw fish, etc. But the warmth from the slow cooking of the Lion King rolls enhances their blend of flavors from the rice, salmon and other ingredients.
