Driving can be a nuisance - cars crowd around exits/entrances, and the speed bumps are so high they scrape against a low or heavily weighted vehicle (something went wrong with the engineering!). But the stores and restaurants are a nice mix; its good to have a movie theater and coffee shop among them; and the Farmers Market twice a week is wonderful.
Target employees here are full of chearful energy. Its a bigish target. Food isnt much of a bargain here. Neither is the Nearby albertsons, and the Albertsons management is garbage. Theres a smart and final store nearby, also good staff, with some better prices. Targets selection seems to be preferred however.
Asian market is great. Major bummer that Ming Dynasty is gone. The Target is pretty poorly stocked so you never know if youll find something even if its in stock on the website.
Always clean and bright but so many empty shelves. The food mart part is always stocked but the holiday/seasonal items are always sparse or just gone as well as the household items.
I believe this is an important place for weekly shopping for local people.
Not too much to say. Cajun kitchen is probably the most popular destination. There is a small Asian market, smoke shop, and other restaurants. Saigon noodle house also resides here. Depending on when you arrive (brunch times are usually packed), there may be ample parking. This is all next to a Kmart.
The five stars is for the Mongolian BBQ restaurant. We had a mobility challenged person with us and the staff went out of their way to make this an easy experience. Oh, and the food is indeed very good. It was my first Mongolian BBQ experience and I liked it. You pick out the raw ingredients and they cook it up for you!
Has most of the standard shopping mall essentials (e.g., convenient store, various dinning opt., Convenience store, laundromat, etc.Having to compete with the newer more recently constructed larger Camino real plaza just on the other side of the road is no easy task and yet this plaza has arguably met that that expectation.Disclosure:I work within a block of the mentioned plazas. My personal opinion is informed by my own anecdotal observations of how this plaza has made continuous improvements to its market value in recent years. That is to say, the existing businesses & each new business added since Target began setting-up shop has a market value added, due to their niche markets, that dont tend to align well with newer construction projects, case and point, how likely are you to see a new laundromat or small convenience store move in to Camino Real plaza?

For a tiny strip mall stroke Plaza does everything and individual could want such as a large Target store and opened up earlier this year if you like oriental food theres Oriental restaurants at the little Mall if you like Subway sandwiches they have a Subway and a lot of other interesting shops the shop at if youre a smoker cigarettes pipe cigar or if you smoke cannabis they have a smoke shop that sells everything you need except the cannabis. Right across the parking lot theres a pizza parlor in another restaurant its a One Stop Shop for all your needs.
They have everything here! Theres good food (natural cafe, los agaves, etc.), Home Depot, Pier 1 Imports, Ross, Tillys, a movie theatre, Starbucks, McDonalds, and even a Costco across the way. They have the occasional farmers market and there is always plenty of parking. My biggest complaint is that there are a TON of speed bumps and these speed bumps are high. You have to drive extremely slowly and even then, I feel like they damage my car. Not recommended if you have a low car.
Avoid first driveway close to gas station; Unbelievable potholes. The new Target is huge and spacious and very clean; full time dedicated staffer disinfecting carts & baskets.
Staff is friendly, prices arent what they used to be but thats the price for high rent, wages, etc etc. Staff is professional and friendly. Good selection on certain things but mens selection is always the smallest at any place. Keeps us basic lol
TARGET Customer service isnt all that. I asked 3 people where to find something and was sent to three different sections of the store only to find it myself somewhere else. The craft depth. And most stores, even though I generally go myself and find it after Im told where to look. But most places Ive been they take you right to it. Considering I told the 2nd and 3rd person they were the 2nd and 3rd Ive asked. Youd think one of them, especially #3 would have shown me. But like I said. I found it finally. Ya dont think Ill be back. I was happy not to have to drive 40 minutes to get to a dept store such as target or Walmart. But I might as well. Took that long to find it
This Plaza is off the hook with things to do or get things done. Perfect place to spend the day with family and loved ones and with Santa Barbarasperfect weather each visit can be a memorable one. Straight up FUN!
My wife and I were visiting Ca Dario restaurant, not the shopping plaza. The main shopping area, with a Target store. Is not very prepossessing and it is not a place I shop. Ca Darios, in an adjacent area, is however, very good and one of the best places to eat in Goleta.
McDonalds is great at Storke Plaza! Good service & can sit outside! Yes Id rate it that much.4.1 I think u said, plus!
Speed bumps, some unmarked right when you turn in, everywhere. These damage cars even at reasonable speeds. But worst of all are the hidden ones right as you turn in, these are dangerous.
Parking lot is not the best to get in and out of . Other than that You have Costco, Home Depot, Home goods, Best buy, AT&T Movie Theater and numerous other businesses

The same crummy Kmart service with a face-lift on the building. We were there early and there were hardly any customers. No matter where we went we were made to feel that we were in the way of most of the staff. Only one man asked how we were. 2 staff were busy badmouthing a female manager talking about how she gets easily upset over nothing.
The ross has a disproportiknally high number of treasures in comparison to most Ive been to. McDonalds charges for stuff that others dont, like extra lettuce, and has undercooked my food a few times. But as a whole I dig it.
Wide range of restaurants and stores. You can find most of what you need here. And special hint, the Indochina store sells European (specifically British) candy and sweets which taste great.

Had breakfast at Jack in the Box and purchased some needed items at Target. Plenty of parking and everyone was friendly.
For 20+ years I have never really liked it. One of these days they will get the the pot holes out. The pricing is a bit high too, except for the Jack In The Box.
Its kind of like the same way kmart had it set up . they do have a cvs pharmacy in the back of the store as well as a grocery section and a order and pick up side where the garden section was.
Its a convenient place to pick up a lot of various goods. Laundromat facilities too. Liquor Store. Asain Store. Target🎯
Stopped for breakfast at the Cajun Kitchen but go for the sandwiches at Sams for lunch. The chicken burrito at Pollofino is also excellent.
OK everybody is probly going for the new store but if youre here and hungry, visit Pollofinos. Ive been eating here for 20 years and still love it.
Its got a Kmart for general shopping. And a couple really good restaurants around it. Also a spa I always go too very cheap the little rainbow foot spa!

This parking lot is a nightmare for pedestrians, no walk ways and completely unsafe so many blind spots you could easily get run over here.

2023-01-16 17:43:46What is there to say? Probably one of the busiest area around Goleta but thats because it houses Target and a lot of food joints. The mine gold here is the Indo China market. If youre looking to cook Chinese, Indian, Thai or Filipino food, this place probably has what you need.

2022-03-22 04:55:21This is a great walk around Mall. Its anchored by Target but has a lot of little shops surrounding it! You have a great breakfast, lunch spot called Cajun Cafe on one end, in between you have a mixture of great shops with food etc. Then, you get to the Target. For Santa Barbara its a larger Target, however I think they lack focus on what Goleta and Santa Barbara needs. I do see a lot of empty shelves sometimes, anywhere from home electronics to cleaning supplies...The area next to Target is more restaurants and shops that are great! And if you make the full turn you get more restaurants and end with a Jack in The box on Hollister. Classic U shaped mall. It rocks!

2020-09-23 05:02:11There are so many shops in this plaza and the main attraction is Target. There are a few choices to eat. The parking lot is huge and accommodates all businesses very well so there shouldnt be any congestion going in or out.

2019-11-22 05:28:00This is a newer Plaza with a small theater, a Costco, a Home Depot and a small Restaurant Row as well as a Best Buy. Its a nice place to shop with plenty of parking in on Sundays they have a farmers market. They even have a McDonalds and a Staples and right across the street another small Plaza. Its a nice new fresh place to spend a few hours without having to pay for parking.

A few of the places are named Janes, Chilis and they also have a brewery company.Theres also a home Depot in the center which is kind of cool in case you forgotten something that you need such as sunglasses or windshield cleaner or water.And in the stork Center they have a Target which is a brand new tarjay its beautifully laid out wonderful store.

2017-02-17 03:26:10Okay shopping area with various shops and eating places like Kmart, Smoke shop, Designer Cuts, Subway, Cajon Kitchen, etc. The property management does not maintain the place very well as the buildings look warn and dated. Parking is fairly large and not too bad.
