Huge sandwiches with fresh bread, ingredients, and fresh cut meats. Ive driven past this place several times, but Im glad I finally stopped in for lunch. Ill be back regularly!

This is one of the best sandwich shops that offers 35+ different sandwiches and combos on their menu board. They have a variety of different breads, including squaw which is harder to find. They have standard vegetable selection but also have sprouts which are not usually offered! They slice their meat and cheese fresh from the case when you order. They offer a limited selection of drinks, but lots of chips, and the good Dirty Chips brand too! Wonderful place, go and support a family owned business!

This is a wonderful, family-owned deli. The sandwiches are literally the best deli-style sandwiches I have ever had! The prices are great, the service is fast, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is fantastic. I have never had a single poor experience. Since this place is close to my office, I have to resist the temptation to eat their sandwiches every day! lol!

I was delightfully pleased with the level of efficiency and courtesy of the staff at Sub-marine. As soon as I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, the place was nice and tidy, patrons were enjoying their sandwiches at some of the tables inside. The staff behind the big counter were ready to make my sandwich after I looked over their big menu of sandwich choices. Everything looked clean, stocked, and good! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and recommend this place to any sandwich lovers. They have great portion sizes for all!

Best sandwich shop around period. Huge portions, great tasting!!Unfortunately I’ve found they are only open about 40-50% of the time, if that. They are definitely one of those places that you assume they are closed and it’s a happy surprise when they are open, so call first every time before you make the drive. It really would be great if they updated their hours online.

A fantastic sub sandwich shop in the heart of San Marcos. The service is always friendly and the sandwiches are FIRE! The place is like a family owned subway with way better meats, cheeses and fresh bread. I usually go with a club with Avocado and sometimes I go with a Tuna salad...depending on my mood. Either way its a win for my belly!

Best subs around. Always get the 34 and its amazing. I have yet to find a sub shop that tastes half as good and I have yet to find any that actually make their subs worth it. Sub-marine is by far the best bank for your buck around

Ive been coming here since 92 and its still my favorite sandwhich spot after nearly 30. years. The sandwiches are well priced, filling and fresh.Its a local spot thats clean, family run and puts the customers first. Ruth and her family have done a great job of preserving this place, all while remembering the names of her loyal customers.

The freshest subs/sandwiches you will find on this side of town! The subs are pretty big but that is no problem if you are a big eater like me. Their chili is simply amazing. Love the option of kombucha on their drink selections as well.

Few blocks away from my husbands office. Convenient. Walking distance. Very good sandwiches! Both my husband and I had #30 it was pretty good. We will return to enjoy another sandwich there. I like how the meats are cut in front of you. So fresh! So good! Yummy!

Love swinging in when I am in town. I enjoy that it is not apart of the chain so the bread is fresh, the meat and cheese are tasty. My favorite breads are squaw and Rye and they have both. Just a wonderful off the beaten sandwich shop.

Not a Subway...you get better, bigger and great tasting sandwiches. If you have a big appetite or want to share a sandwich the Big Kahuna is awesome...in fact a 12 inch could easily feed 3 people... those without bottomless pits. Friendly staff and plenty of tables.

I love this sandwich shop. I always get the ATC w/ Bacon on Squaw. So yummy every time with a thick layer of Turkey always in my sandwich, and the sandwich makers are all very helpful and nice.

Best sub sandwiches! Do not confuse them with sub-marina, they are 10x better than that chain. Staff is very friendly, and the place feels very homely. Their squaw bread turkey avo with the works is out of this world!

On 8 / 17 I ordered a six foot long sub sandwich turkey lettuce tomato and onions with provolone cheese the sandwich was delicious had a party of 10 and it would have bad 25 people easily I want to say thank you to the people at submarine in San Marcos they made a delicious sandwich great price thank you very much I will be returning there

This is my first time visiting a Sub-marine store. Friendly folks behind the counter that greeted me when I walked in and were available to take my order right away. Very large number of subs to choose from and you can of course customize. There are 3 sizes to choose from with the medium sandwitch slightly larger than a subway.They also have chips, fresh baked cookies, bottled drinks and fountain soda although they are only Pepsi products.All in all a clean place, with a nice sized dinning areawith prices comperable (for medium sandwiches) with competitors.

The lettuce is pretty much dead, theres these two managers (husband and wife) who are just downright mean, and I found a fly in my sandwich...twice!!! The old guy is hard to approach and the wife kept getting my orders wrong when I ask for no tomatoes. I use to go into the shop when theyre not around. I swore I heard the husband call this young man a waste of space.
