Sunshine Hawaiian BBQ in Stockton

Im not gonna lie, was kinda hesitant about trying it out since there was no one in the restaurant, and well a restaurant with no customers says alot, but after hearing good things about this place, im glad I tried it out. Food was awesome, great taste and fresh. Lady upfront, customer service was excellent. Definitely recommend this place!

Before I could even order my food she was already rude so I just left. She also coughed and scratched her nose then brought someone food out to the table 🤮

Great little place right next to my hotel. The staff were very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. Me and my husband got the mini meal and it was very fulling and delicious. I gave a 4 out of 5 because the tables were a bit dirt but that was my only complaint. All in all I would definitely come back again if I were in town.

I drive by this place all the time and I am fairly new to Stockton, so I decided to stop by. Plenty of parking and lota of people eating there, so I was hyped. I ordered the bbq chicken combo and a canned green tea lychee. The cashier was very...impatient. The menu is fairly small but I am indecisive, so I asked for her recommendation. She just told me to pick something. Overall service is quick. The portion is hefty. I mainly give it 3 stars because their combo plates are more expensive than any other Hawaiian food place Ive ever been to (and I am from the Bay Area). Also, the taste was 7/10. It didnt suck, but it really lacked flavor. I would not come here again. Not worth the price.

The place is clean and quite big. The foods is almost the same with Ono Hawaiian. All are good, the macaroni need a little more seasoning.

Not sure what got into the cashier today, but she had a very terrible attitude and was very impatient with everyone in line. She talked to a delivery driver so rudely and wouldn’t give her the order she was supposed to deliver. I felt bad for the girl who was just trying to pick up an order because she was just trying to work. Apparently the young lady that was a cashier is the manager as well. This place needs to have a hiring event because the service and food were not very great. Karina you need to learn to treat others a little better.

We love this place!! Food is ALWAYS on point, the dining room is immaculate, though dated. Service is always on point to!!

I always drive by and I never go but I went today and Im glad I did. The lady was very nice and everything was fresh and really good. Got the #1 and substituted the fried chicken. Ill be going back soon.

The girl who took my order was very cold and rude, not even greeted when entering the establishment also her constant eye rolling was uncalled for, if you don’t like working with people you shouldn’t be working cashier. Food was good though sucks that I won’t be a return customer

Never again. Terrible service and while I was eating a roach crawled across the window. Food wasn’t all that great the best was the macaroni salad but after I saw the roach I threw my plate away. Wasted my money.
