I was surprise then last time because now almost all store was busy. They already started Santa Claus picture. Most of the store was very busy. They have now new stores opens in the shopping center . The store was full with thanksgiving and Christmas sales. Last time my visit most of the store was vacant. They have different kind stores in the shopping center. Definitely I recommend visit this shopping center. It was fun to visit the shopping center. Shopping center is very clean. Definitely they take care very good. Bathroom was very clean.

I went to Saint Sage Candle - we had an appointment, with Kat. She was great, very nice, plenty attentive but gave us (4 females) space to talk freely.About $60 we choose our vase, scent and decoration in the wax.The scents are nice, wide variety and categorized. You get floral, glitter, and stones to put into the wax and can take home same day after shopping or lunch.Shop is super cute.We had a great time and something to walk away with.Definitely recommend scheduling an appointment via text or social media.

1st time here, although, I have been to Concord several times before. The mall is very nice one of the few with nearly all stores open and running. The food court was not run of the mill fast food joints, they had really good selections and a completely vegan place as well.

Sun valley Shopping Center is very attractive and clean inside. Not much to look at from outside. I haven’t had problems with parking. I parked outside of Macy’s. They have a garage I have not used yet. All store spaces are filled and looks vibrant.

Whole place smells like piss. Security guard told me I have to pick up my scooter and or bike while Im inside the premises the entire time it cannot touch the floor even if you are not riding it so dont bother. They have not updated their Google maps and it says that they have a McDonalds in this location which they do not.

This is one old school mall that has survived the test of time. Many businesses have came and left, but many have survived here. well worth a visit to check out some of the newer stores and some of the older stores that have remained. Perfect mail to shop at during the holidays Christmas shopping.

Whoever the Manager was for Skechers on Friday (June 2nd) around 2pm, ponytail and heavy tattoos, was the WORST. Barely helping anyone, didn’t want to do her job, and had a major attitude problem with me and several other customers. I took my business somewhere else. Whoever made her manager, let alone employable, should be disappointed. We all have bad days but she was even giving attitude to a child saying “its not our problem we don’t have your size” like geeze?? Is compassion just non existent to her?

A small has a lot of empty lots its not the cleanest it is a little crowded there wasnt a whole bunch of clothes parking the stores in this mall our average. They have very little boost the restaurants do allow serving yourself not necessarily all Buffet but serving yourself. Most of the jewelry stores had their own security but I didnt see any in the whole Mall. Their food court leaves something to be desired.

Sunvalley has a special place in my heart. I worked there in the 80s while in high school and still shop there. Malls are struggling but they give bringing in new stores and ensuring stores do t stay empty. Easy to find your way around.

Today on my visit, I had a very uncomfortable and dislikeable visit to the Sunvalley Mall. I had a hard time when walking into the mall from the disabled parking because the sidewalk was tilted and I fell while walking to the malls entrance. Also, something very unusual happened when I was using the bathroom, a woman easily opened the door knob and entered the bathroom stall while I was using it. It was very uncomfortable and I felt very intimidated. I think the mall staff should try and fix that.

I live nowhere near the Sun valley Mall so I cant say that I go here very often, but I can also say that it is probably the only mall Ive been to in the year. Im making this in April, so that to me says something. I heard on the news that thanks to millennials in our everlasting need to kill things that the mall was dying, yet this Sun valley Mall seems to be thriving! I went into this mall because a friend of mine told me that there was a box lunch and I am a crazy Disney fanatic so I needed to go in and see how it was. Its on the smallest side compared to the one thats in Pleasanton, but its still very beautiful. I found that there were a lot of stores in this mall, my friend and I ended up going to the bath& body works for the longest because were both little scent buddies and needed to get some candles or spray. Literally theres something in here for everyone. The department stores had sparse inventories. Particularly Sears. The less they stock, the more likely one is to shop elsewhere. I did not find the items I was shopping for, but made some spur of the moment purchases. I believe that Department stores will continue to be in trouble if they stock less items

Food court is good, connected to round one, good stores. This mall should be around for A LONG time. The only thing wrong with it are the people who stop you and try and get you to buy stuff to clean your shoes. They will practically chase you down to give you the sale pitch and they will do it multiple times. They have been there when I was super young and they will be there when I die.

We went here for lunch and to walk indoors while it rained. The mall is clean and has no empty store fronts. Arcade was packed and fun and very noisy.Our choices for food were failures amd everything is $10-14. Crepes too thick with awful tasting chocolate sauce, panini was good but too small for a meal but it came with a large salad of fresh lettuces. The taiyaki are $2.85 but the batter is pancake-like and the red bean paste is not a paste but whole beans in a liquid syrup.

The Macys is being renovated, the food court was lively with plenty of options, and the restrooms and the majority of the mall are very clean. Luxury Perfumes in this mall is one of the best places to get the best perfume or cologne. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and can help you find exactly what you are looking for. As a plus, if you dont know what exactly to get, he has a nose for the best fragrance based on the scents that you prefer. I came here to just walk around and see what was going on. This place was the place to go when I was a kid in the 80s. I worked at a few stores here during the 90s and I have seen a lot of changes. I remember the fountain that was on the bottom floor in the middle of the mall. There was a Rainbow Records where I purchased the Beastie Boys Licensed to Ill cassette. There are so many places that I miss. Remember the movie theater? It did midnight showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was too young but I remember. There was also an ice skating rink. I played broom ball there a few times. I remember the candy area in Sears that you could get popcorn, ICEEsand an assortment of candy you could buy by weight. My favorite was always the big red swedish fish. Gone are the stores I worked at and lot has changed but amazingly a few things have remained. The McDonalds is still in the same place. The Cinnabon is where its been since the 90s. Macys original store is there but they took over the Emporium Capwells and it houses half the store. The Red Robin is still there from the 90s. It was nice to see it was busy and to take a walk in the past.

Their are some kids that are riding a bicycle and skate boarding in the mall. When I told them that they are not suppose to ride their bicycle and skate board at the mall they got rude and a bit disrespectful. Two of them was trying to stare me down like he wants to beat me up coz his got five friends with him that can gang up on me.I look for a security guards, and none to be found.Atleast one if not two of them was recording the entire thing on their cellphone.Please have more security in the mall, or atleast have a video camera on all entrances and exits so your security guards can have a better vusion of whats going on inside the mall. Atleast at the halls of the mall. Those kids can cause an accident. I was a victim of tern agers in that mall before.

Always clean and bright. Many many many different stores and shops for any kind of need you have. The food court is great with every type of food craving you are in the mood for. The help desk is friendly and well really helpful. The jewelry shops are friendly and fully understand and dont seem to mind window shopping. The clothing stores are endless and the shoes shops are plenty. Gamers you are covered too. The kiosks down the middle are nice and not pushy. They have elevators, escalators, and they also have stairs. They have many different events in the center all year long. Parking is a bit difficult during the holiday season but eventually you will find a space close enough. Always a wonderful place to visit.

Comparing this to pre-covid Sun valley is like night and day. the Sun valley Mall seems to have gotten new lease on life and is vastly improved for what it used to be theres a lot of fun shops great food good parking its just a great spot to be at and theres a lot of good things you can buy. Theres a palpable absence of customers at Sunvalley Shopping, a whole lot of empty parking, empty food court that had a facelift a few years ago, empty stores, if you want to pretend youre Billie Eilish making a music video singing to yourself, this is the place to be. Aside from lack of interesting stores that you can find anywhere else & online, its very plain, and Boomerish. Even the employees look like please why is the time not moving? or at least that is what their face is saying. The restroom doesnt have paper towels, so gross. You know this mall is really ancient since it doesnt even have a movie theater, but it did add a Round 1 arcade a few years ago to bring in younger foot traffic. Most of the customers lately have moved on to across the highway to The Veranda mall with the IMAX theater.

Sun Valley mall is a awesome place to shop! There is plenty of free and easy parking. Security is very tight and there are visible security personnel, so I felt safe when I was shopping. The mall is clean and attractive with many food and shopping choices. The bathrooms are open and sanitary. When I shopped at Sun Valley mall, it felt like it was before we ever had the Corona virus. It is a pleasure to shop here.

Im originally from California born and raised, but currently reside in NYC since 2015. Anyway I grew up with this mall and I still think they are pretty good..gotten bigger and better too as far as store selections from cheap to sleek. If you want expensive brands they got you or a cheat club dress that looks like a million dollars (more my taste) they got you. Got my vacation bathing suit for 23 dollars on sale at Macys and I loved it!!!

I loved my experience. Plenty of parking, vast array of shopping available, very clean, and I felt very safe in both the parking lot and in the stores. Many areas I have been recently for mall experiences have left me feeling open to being a target and very vulnerable especially once leaving the store. I did not feel like this here and have no hesitation returning to shop here again nor recommending others to shop here.

I had always wished the Sun Valley Mall was like other malls with arcades or Bowling or ice skating or a movie theater. This is a good size mall with a very good selection of stores and food court. This mall is home to the famous Tomi sushi buffet restaurant. It is clean,has ample parking and really Isnt that hard to find by commute or driving.Excellent mall to visit with family and or friends. You could walk around its 3 floors and then browse shops and then get a bite to eat. Well worth a visit.

Like most malls they offer quite a few stores with some kiosks that come and go, it is not as busy as it used to be in the glory days of mall shopping but still sees plenty of foot traffic. The food court is a bit unusual but large and well furnished with plenty of options though it doesnt seem to have much diversity in the types of food available. Lots of parking that is within easy access of the mall it self.

My experience here has always been good. The atmosphere is great and it looks very alive. There are two floors and each floor has enough clothing stores to browse around and find something you like. It also has plenty of food and snack options to choose from, however, I feel like it needs to expand more and possibly add in a food court like other top tier malls because everything is scattered. It does tend to get very crowded on weekends and parking spots become available between 5 to 10 minutes or less if you get lucky. Its not as bad as other shopping malls, but theres still a wait time on weekends, especially on holidays.

Been going to this mall since 2002. Without fail I have seen a car that has been broken into. In one of my more recent trips my trucks tailgate was stolen. Security for the exterior of the mall is very lax imo. Inside the mall was clean and the bathrooms are tended to so no complaints there.

Very nice mall. Food court has tables socially distanced. Mall offers hand sanitizer when you walk in. I walked through the mall twice and everyone was wearing a mask. Large variety of stores to shop. There is both a men’s and women’s Macy’s here and they are located on separate sides of the mall. The food court looks to have a variety of options but because of COVID, when I passed thru, there only seemed to be a few places open. The food court bathroom was nice and clean, also the parking lot by the food court entrance was super empty. I visited on a Friday afternoon.

Shopping center is mediocre, a bit small compared to grander malls. Not as exciting as the Great Mall or Westfield (Valley Fair and SF). Some flagships/stronghold retail giants such as Macy’s and H&M here but all in all, would say that malls like Sunvalley highlight one prevailing trend- malls are pretty much dead, online retail is in. Sad reality is highlighted by the dilapidated floors and lack of anchor big box stores to bring in huge traffic.Side note: bathrooms/restrooms are hard to find. Jammed in a tiny corner with random retail stores. Walking in the silent desolate hallway to use the restroom is also low key haunting, very sketch. Just eerie vibes and not welcoming at all.

On a trip up to one of the last great... SEARS, to purchase some quality Craftsman tools and a big red tool chest. This 127 year old company should be supported, cherished and recognized for the retail giant and leader they have been. I was shopping at Penneys and decided to take a stroll through Sunvalley Mall, it was completely dead on a Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Shop after shop catering to millennial children looking to spend someones hard-earned money... not theirs, usually theyre parents on overpriced clothing and snacks. I was looking for a pair of Nike shoes at Penneys, of course they didnt have them. As soon as I got home I bought them on Amazon so much easier. Shady business. Fitting rooms aren’t open which is understandable due to Covid. However, they don’t let you return, you can only exchange once. Lots of seating along the central walkways if you need to take a rest. Accessible public restrooms that are well-maintained. Not all of the shops are very wheelchair accessible though. Some stores pack their aisles in too tight (Forever 21). Nice central elevator and some of the department stores also have their own elevators. Some of the shops are heavily fragranced, so a word of caution to those who have fragrance sensitivities. Great place to go with friends.

Me and the kids went to the sun valley mall looking for dragons/magic breath. The sweet treat thats prepared using liquid nitrogen. Well we certainly found it and while the lady working at the station was very friendly I personally didnt like the product but my kids were happy with their purchases so I had no complaints. It has familiar stores that Ala Moana on Oahu has and its enclosed and pretty. I think the arcade/bowling alley is a nice addition. The food court is yummy, looks like they are adding a Japanese restaurant to it. Parking is great and the center kiosks arent pushy trying to sell you products you dont want or need. I had ordered thru Dash Delivery after speaking with Prakash on the phone about the details of the order I wanted. When my very close friends who recently moved to Alamo, CA received it everything was perfect including the timing of the delivery which was exactly as I was told by the store. The kids loved the colorful sprinkled marshmallows sticks, my friends loved the dark & white choc covered strawberries, pretzels, Oreos,& graham crackers. Way too many jewelry stores. This place needs a toy store. There are some guys who claim to hold Bible studies by the elevator. Weird place to have a cult meeting.

A lot of stores, good variety. Not a fan of the big Victorias Secret ads on the outside of the store. And that at certain points the Pink store across the hall from it will have scantily clad lady pictures out front so youre bombarded on both sides for like 20 feet. But hey, the rest of the mall is pretty great! Definitely try out Tomis Sushi. Not the most amazing sushi youll ever taste, but definitely worth the trip. Cheaper Monday - Thursday before 3pm.

This mall has it a lot to offer. A diverse assortment of food at the food court. A brand new arcade and bowling alley with many nice surprises inside. There are large restaurants like BJs and many small diners that serve up american classics. Clean mall with both large companies and local companies.
