A friend and I stopped by for lunch. We ordered chicken pho, spring rolls, chicken bahn mi and Thai iced tea. There was plenty of food, as we had leftovers to bring home. Everything was delicious. The prices were a bit higher than expected, but I would go back.

7-25:Ive seen this place but never stopped by... Until today!Tried the rare steak Pho and it was really good. Broth hit the spot 👍. Steak was nice and tender. By the way, I always order the steak on the side so I can control the rareness. Great Pho 👍!I will definitely be back for more delicious Vietnamese food.

3.5 stars. Food was good but nothing special. Prices seem a bit steep. Ordered the seafood pho (which only comes with shrimp and should really be called shrimp pho and egg roll vermicelli bowl with added tofu (extra $3 for 5 slices of deep fried tofu...)... total came out to over $40. The service was not great... nobody greeted us upon entering (young guy at the cash register on his phone watching tiktoks or something). After Id ask a question and he answered, hed go back to looking at his phone. Also sort of awkward because you have to pay before being served, which includes adding a tip even though there really is no service. Atmosphere is glum and mostly Berkeley students or younger folks. For the price we paid, you could get the same thing but better quality and nicer ambience at Anh Restaurant in Richmond... and for the same quality but more authentic atmosphere - and cheaper prices, go to Pho Saigon II at Pacific East Mall.

The Pho was great but the place was a mess and felt dirty. Also, there was a rancid smell perspiring throughout the outdoor dining area.

Decent Pho.Looks and tastes pretty healthy! 😋However, if you use a To-Go container, beware.. Its IMPOSSIBLE to open afterwards.I had to break open my lid to open it.The sides of the lid seem to be designed for a permanent seal. 😳

Dont get fouled by the outside apperance of this business the food is delicious so authentic the place is clean and friendly service, the price are very affordable I tried other pho places around Berkeley University and are expensive and without flavor here on the contrary I recommend you the varmicelli with shrimp, chicken and roast pork with fried roll and the pho #1 has everything tendon, brisket meatballs they also have complimentary hot tea😊

Speedy and delicious- we stopped here on our way home after a long road trip. It was Sunday afternoon and we were able to walk in and order right away. Food took less than 10 minutes and was delicious. Highly recommend any of the bánh mì sandwiches and the vermicelli with chicken was also delicious.

Wow. Just wow. The food was super delicious and incredibly filling. I ordered the vegetarian phở and the portion was HUGE! I think Im a pretty big eater, but there was so much food, I couldnt finish my meal even though I wanted to keep eating! The broth was rich with umami flavor, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. This is one of the most authentic places in the area, so if youre looking for a good phở place thatll please even a Vietnamese person, this is it! This restaurant is also family-owned, which I thought was really great. The owner was really friendly, and the people taking our order were really nice as well. The price was also a good selling point-- $9.50 for a huge bowl of delicious, authentic pho is awesome. The atmosphere was great as well, because it reminded me of the restaurants in Vietnam--super casual and super friendly.Overall, this is probably my favorite Vietnamese place in the Berkeley/Oakland area, and I wish I lived closer because I would frequent this restaurant. 10/10!
