My wife and I recently took Superas tour of Niigata and Sado Island in Japan. It became clear that a lot of time, research and effort had gone into planning our itinerary, for there was such a variety of sights, experiences and activities to enjoy. Our guide, Hui, was an absolute gem who took care of everything with grace and professionalism. We were nver stressed. We covered many miles in a comfortable bus and never saw anything remotely close to a traffic jam in ten days. The trip took us to some beautiful spots in rural Japan and we stayed in excellent hotels with Japanese style bedding and dining and onsen mineral spring baths. Our activities included feeding a mass of colorful koi fish, visiting a center for the endangered Japanese Ibis, beating huge drums, riding in a tub boat, viewing an historic coastal village, picking strawberries, strolling along a river bank and, on the last day, a musical and dance performance by two beautiful geishas and musicians. Our April trip was timed for spring flowers and (for someone who grew up next to Kew Gardens in London) I have never seen such amazing displays of tulips and Wisteria. We recommend this trip most highly.

Our family just finished a private 10-day tour in Japan and absolutely loved it! I am usually the planner, but Roy at Supera arranged everything for us! All we had to to was show up. Our tour guide Eriko was also amazing! She was so patient, kind, funny, informative, engaging, thoughtful, everything you would want in a tour guide. Our food, hotels, tourists sights were on point. We saw everything. Loved the variety and quality of meals. Tour was very well thought out. Highly recommend Supera for all your travel needs. Till next time! XO

I just came back from the trip to Iceland, the land of ice and fire. What a treat! This is my 6th tour with SuperA. I love the well designed itineraries and well spaced. The tour leaders are all exceptional and very knowledgeable. Lodging is well located and transportation is comfortable. Always excellent choice of meals. Congrats to the organizer and staff.

In September, I took the Japan Classic tour, which took us through Tokyo, Kamakura, Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Saiko, Lake Biwa, Kyoto, Nara, & Osaka. Eriko-san, our tour guide, was informative, entertaining and extremely helpful. Our itinerary was well planned, the hotels were 5 star accommodates, the meals were fantastic and the transportations logistics were top notch! This was a dream vacation for me and I look forward towards my next tour to Northern Japan.See you all then!

Highly recommend this tour company! Supera has awesome guides - theyre funny, knowledgeable, and they do a great job looking out for everyone. Their itineraries are well put together (beautiful scenic/historical sites, super nice hotels, and some of the best food). I always feel like Ive gotten to see and experience a lot each time Ive been with them.

My family and I did a Supera Tour vacation in Hokkaido. It was well planned out and the pace was perfect. We wouldn’t have been able to see and do so much without them.We had Colin as our tour guide too. He was great sharing all of his knowledge about Japan and fun experiences. I would recommend!

So glad I decided on a guided tour of Japan for my 40th birthday, as the amount and quality of experiences I had during my trip was outstanding. We ate sooo many different foods (Japanese food is not just sushi, people!) and was never left hungry! Got to see all the big experiences and do some lesser known things too! Our guide was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable. She even gave me a gift on my birthday! For the price I feel we got our moneys worth and then some.

***SIGNET TOUR and SUPERA TOUR FALSE ADVERTISING****** Lake Kawaguchi tour with NO Lake Kawaguchi, NO hot spring hotel, and NO Kaiseki banquet??? ***This is a review for the Japan tour Kanto: Fuji + Taste of Tokyo 6 days 4 nights Tokyo, Kamakura, Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Saiko – Please note, this trip does NOT tour Lake Kawaguchi as advertised. No authentic Japanese style hot spring hotel and no Kaiseki banquet. If I had known this ahead of time, Id not have joined this tour. Please read below for details:Signet Tour (or Supera Tour. Same company) has advertised on the website for: Lake Kawaguchi & Lake Saiko: Overnight in a hot spring and explore local outdoors near Fuji for a better chance to view the elusive icon. Soak in hot spring baths to rejuvenate your body and enjoy an evening of delicious Kaiseki banquet. The activity by Lake Kawaguchi and the authentic Japanese hot spring hotel overseeing Mount Fuji should be the highlight and the most exciting part of this tour. We joined this trip in late March 2023. While we were all super excited and looking forward to this spectacular experience by Lake Kawaguchi, in reality, none of the above exist. NONE.In fact, this tour didnt stop by Lake Kawaguchi. We did not even get anywhere close to Lake Kawaguchi at all. Thats right! None of us see Lake Kawaguchi with our eyes! The tour guide took us to the Kawaguchiko Station where we had a brief lunch (a bowl of pre-cooked noodle) in a restaurant right beside the train station. This lunch lasted about one hour, and that was one and the only activity we had while in Kawaguchiko. Absolutely nothing else. NO traditional Japanese hot spring hotel by Lake Kawaguchi overseeing Mount Fuji. NO Kaiseki banquet dinner. That was such a huge disappointment and false advertising to say the least!Following lunch, Signet Tour (or Supera Tour) put us onto a tour bus and we were sent to Mishima (This was not in the Itinerary as advertised). Mishima is a very small town about 63 miles away from Lake Kawaguchi, which is more than one hour by bus. To put in context, it’s about the distance from Los Angeles to Oxnard. That’s how far apart they are. Not only Mishima is nowhere close to Lake Kawaguchi, we stayed at a budget hotel of mediocre quality right next to a train station. The photographs showed the meal (the bowl of pre-cooked noodle) in Kawaguchiko and the view from the window of the budget hotel in Mishima.Signet Tour (or Supera Tour) has failed to disclose such a major change ahead of time. They merely sent a brief email 5 days before the tour (in a mild tone) that said “Due to labour shortage, we have changed your hotel.” Everyone in our tour group thought it was just going to be a minor change. We thought we were going to stay in another hotel of comparable quality that would be near the Fuji View Hotel as originally planned. No one in the group would ever think that we’d be sent to a budget hotel by a train station that far away from Lake Kawaguchi. We can hear the train running by at night! Dont even get me started on the meals. They were made from cheap ingredients. Yes, you can see Mount Fuji far far away from this hotel, with 80% of Mount Fuji blocked by another mountain. Go figure.
