Superhot is located on the edge of downtown mountain view that serves a mix of hot pot and korean bbq.Your table gets individual boilers and 4 people to one burner.With many different soup bases and over 100 things on the menu, you can have already cooked food or cook your own food either by grill or soup.They have a serve your own sauce bar as well which makes things convenient for how you want to cater your tastes.You can only get 10 items per order but its unlimited up to 90 minutes so pace yourself accordingly.Service is fantastic as within 2 minutes of you ordering, the food comes out. And they change your grill often when need be.The ice cream is complementary and it is alsoGreat for birthday dinners as they also sing happy bday for you with a candle if you wanna embarrass your friendCost after tax and tip will be around $45-48 depending on how much you tip (mandatory 18% gratuity for parties over 6)Would recommend!

I went here 2 times for dinner with my friend. We arrived 10 minutes before their opening time of 5 PM and there is already a queue. Once they opened, we were seated quickly. Each person has their own hot pot while the grill is shared. There is a self-serve sauce and side dishes bar. Food was delicious with many options for meat, veggies and appetizers. They also have complementary dessert as well. The highlight of this restaurant is the exceptional customer services. I never been to a Korean BBQ restaurant where the servers are constantly check in with the guests to make sure all their needs are met. They automatically change the grill, refill the soup base, clean up the empty dishes, and always ask of we need to order more.

Came here with me wife for some all you can eat hotpot. Came here on a Wednesday night near 6:30 pm so had absolutely no wait, which was great.Seats are nice and large and service was fast.Quality of meat isnt bad for the price. Could always be better but honestly cant complain.I will come here again.

Heard a lot of good things about Superhot, but definitely fell short of my expectations.They use Yelp waitlist and it gets super messy. They go off exactly by priority. If you miss hearing your name get called, you likely wont be able to get your spot.As someone else mentioned, floor is super greasy. Be careful when walking.Absolutely terrible location to have the sauces. Right by the door. When they get busy, you just have people in line trying to get sauces and people waiting to get sat blocking everything.Staff is a bit blunt/ignorant. Asked to swap one of the soups since the spicy miso, and it wasnt very good, and they said we needed to pay to swap the soup base. Some staff only bus tables and will just bluntly say we dont take orders and then run off.Hot pot was just ok. KBBQ brisket was probably the best. Nice and fatty. Everything else was just average.For $36/head for dinner, probably not the best value meal...especially with the headache you might have to deal with.Parking can be a bit tough during peak hours.

It cost about $36 a person and it’s on the pricey side. All the meat options that they have are AMAZING! Especially the wagu beef and lamb. I really love the spicy options for the meat. However, the hotpot and watermelon juice were disappointing. The hotpot taste like salty stock + warm bland watermelon juice. The iced water was so much better and refreshing. Otherwise, everything was worth it once in awhile!

Took kids for a first korean bbq experience. They enjoyed grilling there own meat. A lot of different varieties in both meat and vegerarian options to have. Sauces were great too. They only had one option which was all you can eat. That was a bit pricey for us, since we mostly went for the experience, not all you can eat.

We went on a Monday night and there were a decent amount of people but we got a seat right away. They should change their name to Superfast Hot Pot & Korean BBQ because as soon as you said your order, it came out in less than 3 seconds! We were impressed and speechless. They had a great selection at the sauce bar and service was excellent (i.e changing your grill multiple times, refilling your hotpot broth, asking if everything is okay). Meat quality was decent and price is only $36.95 for AYCE.

Solid KBB spot in downtown Mountain View...although I think Superhot Hot Pot & Korean BBQ is actually Chinese. All good... the food is solid, service was good and everything went well. Their website hardly has any information posted, apart from the hours and contact details.I cant recall if Superhot has a dedicated parking lot, but there are plenty of parking options in downtown Mountain View. The venue is a good size, it isnt small, but not masssive like a Gen either. Plenty of options at the Sauce station. I was impressed how fast the our orders came out. We didnt have a dedicated person that waited on us, multiple members of the staff took our orders and brought out our food. Fast and efficient, unlike some other KBBq spots where you feel like an eternity has gone by between orders.No issues returning...

Well this place is definitely good for those who like hot pot. Good food, good service. I personally don’t like hot pot but still wanted to try. Friendly people, since I went for the first time and didn’t know how to use they explained nicely. If you are looking for a good place to have Korean BBQ I definitely recommend this place!!! The food was fresh and delicious. The most important to me is the fact that the service was AMAZING! They were attentive, friendly and helpful! The store was comfortable and clean! Loved this experience!!! I give it a 9/10. This is a must try.

Wonderful spot for hot pot and kBBQ.Tasty broth for the hot pot with lots of excellent choices.Meat for the grill was well marinated. So tender and delicious!Meats and hot pot items are ordered in flights. The staff are super efficient with bringing out ordered items or clearing away empty dishes.Sauce bar also has some banchan items. My favorite is the thinly iced marinated daikon which I use to wrap grilled items.Would definitely come back.

Stellar KBBQ at a great all you can eat price, super quick service, great quality meats. Wagyu in hot pot is a standout option but you can also nosh on treats like Xiao long bao and green onion pancakes. Theres a reason you have to wait an hour for a table, and its worth it.

Also some areas of the floor can get slippery and you can very easily fall if you’re not careful. Rather go to Seapot for the better customer service and the self service seafood conveyor belt.

The service was so fast. We came on a thursday night and were on the waitlist, but we waited for about 2 minutes before our table was ready.We did grill and all the beef options were delicious!I also have a peanut allergy and I was able to eat comfortably at this restaurant even though many of their dishes and sauces contain peanuts. I dont recommend eating here if you have a very severe allergy though.

Always busy and it fills up super quick. If you’re not there by 5:30pm you’re going to have to wait a very long time for a table. The meal is priced for 90 minutes and if you stay longer they charge extra for the additional time.The food and service is fantastic and it’s a great value for the price.

Pros.. Huge menu selection, hot pot and Korean BBQ combo, prices were decent for the amount of food you can order.Cons.. Waited a little less than an hour to be seated (on a Sunday evening), food quality was about 3.5 out of 5, service was a bit scarce due to how busy it was and the sauce bar needed some tidying up. Other than that, the staff were very nice, just busy. $72 out the door for hot pot and bbq combo dinner for two and one house Sake. We left full and happy!

10/10 perfect blend between AYCE, Korean Grill, and Asian Hotpot.Service was amazing too, I think my servers name was Grace, and she absolutely killed it, all while handling what looked like more tables than what you let the average server/waiter handle.Food was 10/10 as well, always fresh and quick too, with a lot of choices of meats, which is always a good thing, I just wish the mozarella balls were in stock more.No wonder Im here atleast once a week.

I was so excited to try this place, being a HUGE kbbq and hotpot lover. It was really underwhelming on most levels. Goku in San Jose does hotpot and kbbq significantly better.The meats:The short ribs are AWFUL here. Rubbery, chewy, under-marinated. Galbi is our number one meat and we didnt order any more after the first order. Terrible.- wagyu option was no better than non-wagyu anywhere else, pure marketing...-Pork options were scant.. and the few they had were not very good tasting. I love a good garlic pork belly, but you wont find that here.-The lamb is a nice inclusion, we enjoyed the spicy lamb a lot.-The rib fingers were actually excellent, and marinated well. These sort of made up for the awful galbi.The ordering system is incredibly annoying. You can only order a handful of items at a time. And not even just meats, anything! Need ingredients for your soup? Itll take at least two rounds because noodles and each vegetable are considered an item. Just an awful implementation of an ordering system.The hotpot soup experience overall was decent, but weve had better hotpot at Goku. Spicy soup was a bit lacking in flavor compared to others weve had elsewhere.The inclusion of dim sum items is super unique and the items were actually excellent, except we couldnt fit them in until the end thanks for their awful ordering limits.Overall the experience wasnt terribly good. The service starts off really well but after you spend lots of time getting the waiters attention and have to focus energy on that, but then later in your stay their attentiveness tapers off. 90 minute limit yet youll spend much of it waiting to flag someone down. The meats overall were just okay. The hotpot was fine, and the handful of available dim sum items were actually great, but the overall ordering experience is extremely poor. Probably wont come back for this reason.

Had reservation for Christmas Eve, and although there were people waiting, our table was ready and waiting, so that was a plus. Orders and delivery of food were quick. Its our first time here, and we were impressed with the quality of the meat, vegetables, and sea food. Soup base was tasteful. Most impressive was that we never had to wait for too long to order more food even though they were pretty busy. Also the food was brought out pretty quick. Although there is a 90 minute time limit, we were able to eat our fill in that time frame. So overall we had a good experience at Superhot, and would return.

The service is super fast! We started receiving our meats less than a minute after we finished ordering with our server. It’s also one of the only places I’ve been to that allows to pick either hot pot or kbbq for each person. Usually, if you go with someone at hotpot and kbbq, the whole table has to get the kbbq or the hotpot. But, I got to have hot pot and my boyfriend got kbbq. They also gave free ice cream after!

Superhot offers both kbbq and hot pot. Id say that its a hot pot place that threw in a kbbq grill for fun. They have a huge assortment of food, with many veggie/seafood options. They also have all the meats you could need. I really enjoyed a dessert where you can pour condensed milk over it. My concern was the wait time. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes for them to take our first order, then another 10-15 to actually bring it out. The flavors are good. The veggies are good. Its what you would expect from a hotpot/kbbq place. The price point is on the high side, and people can only eat so much, so i think it might be better to either do kbbq or hot pot. Sticking the two together is sometimes a good idea, but its a little too much.

The service when I and my m8s went yesterday was lightning fast, we ordered and they brought the meat out in under a minute. The Thai tea was solid, the Modelo let us know what time it was, and the Terra lite beer was absolutely peng bruv. Now we get to the food, we ordered multiple rounds of brisket, wagyu, spicy pork belly, red wine lamb, and beef bugolgi/pork bugolgi to round it out. The brisket was tender and fatty as it should be, the wagyu melted in your mouth after a quick sear and had a lovely texture after a quick few waves in the boiling broth, the spicy pork belly went hard as it always does and had good balance between the meat and fat, the red wine lamb had a strong but satisfying flavor, and the two bugolgi variants were delicious! All in all, the service was great, the food was great, and the drinks had us feeling good. Super Hot was indeed 🔥

It seems the restaurant has taken to disrespecting your time more aggressively recently. If you’re 5th or 6th in line, your table will be shown as ready in the waitlist and you’ll be inclined to come sooner. This happened to me recently and me and my party showed up early as to not lose our table. To our surprise, our table was not ready and we waited an additional 40 minutes for the people ahead of us. If we had known the table was not ready, we would have either waited longer at home or went elsewhere. It seems they really do not care whether or not you spend your weekend evenings sitting on a chair doing nothing.As long as they continue to disrespect human life, go to Goku instead or something.

The first time I came to this place was during their soft launch. There wasn’t anyone and the service and food was great for $24. They even had ice cream as desert. But my last visit yesterday is very different. They are now $36 per person. There are only one server taking orders for the whole restaurant, and the portion sizes are smaller. The quality of the soup base and meats are also not as great as before. There’s no more ice cream or Yakult. However, they still put out dishes super fast so you don’t ever have to wait for food. I was very underwhelmed by the experience, especially knowing how good they were.

Saw a new restaurant so decided to come and celebrate a birthday. We used yelp to get a place in line. Definitely helped shorten the wait. There is a two hour limit for dining here and a 10 order limit for every time you order.The wait staff is super friendly and fast at bringing the food. So don’t worry about the 10 order limit. There’s an assortment of hot pot soup bases with a big menu of things to put in the pot or on the grill.The restaurant is nicely lit and clean. Would go again!

A great place if you want both hot pot and KBBQ and its all you can eat, which is great. On the hot pot side, the quality and flavor of meats were great. One of the people serving us wasnt even a waiter and when one of my family members asked a simple question, a rude no! was the waiters answer. Really? Took us all by surprise. Superhot is the best Kbbq + hotpot place I’ve ever been to! The food is super high-quality, the broth is amazing, and the staff are the best. Last time we went, we had too much to drink and were very sick, so Jay and his staff really took care of us, set up some room for us to lie down, offered food and drinks to help us recover and even offered to give us a ride home. I already love the food here and it’s made even better by the staff!

Interesting concept. All you can eat, but portions are really small. Takes service around 20-30 minutes between taking your order for more plates or meat and veggies. You also have a 90 minute max time at a table. Overall it is setup to feel like you can get a good value, but really it is just about the same price as any other hotpot/BBQ. But you have to wait longer for the same amount of food. Im really struggling to see why it is so busy.

Nice hotpot/kbbq with a lot of variety of foods. Really fast service but they dont give a lot of portions each round. Everyone has their own hotpot in front of them which is nice and 1 grill for kbbq. Its a bit cramped in this restaurant and due to the small portions being brought everytime I have dropped it by a star. Regardless of that the food tasted good and the hotpot broth was good. $40 and about 100 items to choose from the menu.

I would not recommend going on a busy weekend or when its raining. If its packed...just walk away! Even if you have a reservation.There is not waiting room for more than a dozen people inside at most. We went and had to wait outside in the rain for 30 mins because they told us to come early 😔. The place was so packed it was almost certainly a fire hazard.One bathroom was leaking from the ceiling, and the other smelled like urine and the smell was wafting into the restaurant 😭.They sat a party of 7 at a table for 6, I was the 7th. I did not have a burner and I could not reach the grill. This definitely kills the experience. I also had zero room on the table since I was sitting where the spare food should go.The staff was not handling being busy very well, everyone was running around upset, dropping and breaking things constantly, and we had to ask multiple times to get things.Food quality was good though, but not exceptional. The broth was flavorless and definitely needed sauce.Unfortunately we will not be coming back, and Ive learned my lesson: size (of the restaurant) matters when it comes to hotpot restaurants! Not overbooking the place for a Saturday would have changed everything. But instead they choose to have a 90 min rule and cycle people in and out to maximize profit. Too bad 😞

Good variety with 100+ dishes, but very limited with only allowing 4 meat and 6 fish/vegetable dishes per order, no matter how many people are at the table. Spicy miso soup wasnt that flavorful compared to the #1 mala style spicy soup. Recommend doing the short rib on the grill for maximum flavor, and if your group doesnt like vegetables, get a lot of black fungus and soup dumplings (last page) since they are easy to get out of the way for more meat. Service was fast when waiters came around but sometimes they took a while to return to collect a new order. My group still got 5 rounds in with 5 people in the 90 minutes.

The best hot pot place I’ve been to in the bay so far; and it’s more than hotpot, it even has selections of Korean barbecue and other various foods. Would highly recommend! Not the most authentic but definitely worth the money and the experience. The best aspect of the experience is the service, top notch although sometimes it can feel a bit like they’re pushing you to order ASAP (but they do have time limits etc in place so it’s more of a benefit than a drawback to have someone constantly there to help order or reorder). This is a great value hotpot place that belongs to the top tier hotpot joints. There are multiple hotpot broth types, theres Korean style BBQ all combined so in practice, one can eat Korean BBQ and Sichuan hotpot on one table. Meats and other ingredients are high quality. Ive been a few times now, and each time has been a little different. The first time I went, I was overwhelmed by the amount of different meats and sides you could order. They all had great quality meats.The first few times I went, we had quick service and many rounds of food. However, the last time I went, my server only checked on us three times during the 90 minute allotted time. Typically theyd come around 6 to 7 times during that to make sure we have enough food. I understand it’s a business, you need to make money, but from the customer’s perspective, you can’t really get your money’s worth or enjoy your meal when they tell you upfront as soon as you sit down at the table that you have limited time. The concept is to combine BBQ with hotpot. You get your own hotpot and a shared BBQ grill in the middle. Creative concept. This is not kid friendly at all! My 3 kids love hot pot restaurants and enjoys them a lot. Therefore we decided to take our visitors with kids to a hot pot restaurant. Restaurant located a block from the main street of Castro in Mountain View so parking can be hard to find during weekend. Was looking forward to the meal after a 40 minute wait to get seated, but restaurant was understaffed, and it took another 15 minutes before we even got our (individual) pots for hot pot. Some of the broths werent very good, but they didnt let us try a different broth. Regardless of the number of people at the table, you can only put in 10 orders, so with our table of 6, each order wasnt really enough. Over the 90 minutes, we only managed to put in 5 orders, so each person got only 6 items, which wasnt enough to eat. At times, we were so hungry that we went to the sauce bar to get some raw eggs and throw them in the hot pot. In addition, some of the items we never received (at least 3), and a few times we had rancid tofu. Overall, the experience was very poor.Food -Superhot spicy soup base was almost flavorless, just a bit of heat and salt. Pork bone soup was better.New Zealand Lamb was good, and the other thin sliced meats (Wagyu beef, rib eye, brisket, pork belly) were all fine, but not thick enough to grill - they all burned and stuck to the grill.Marinated meats (red wine lamb, spicy lamb) were more suited for the grill and were well received by the group.Beef balls with pork filling instead had cheese filling, even though there is no beef ball with cheese filling on the menu. The beef ball itself was mediocre - quite tough. Fish balls with roe were alright, but the filling wasnt as flavorful and crunchy as Id expect. The imitation crab stick was terrible, with no texture at all, just a solid tube of fish paste with little flavor.Frozen tofu was pretty much what youd expect, except three orders of our frozen tofu were rancid - a sour taste and mealy texture. Before that, wed had a couple good orders of frozen tofu, so not sure what changed.Napa cabbage and bok choy were fine, pretty much what youd expect, except that the leaves were kind of small and the bok choy included the stalk, which one of my friends didnt like.The best things on the menu (possibly because the portions were a bit bigger so we got to actually eat food) were the dim sum options. The fried bun with condensed milk was really good, and the chives pie was decent. The dumplings were all alright, though they seemed store-bought as opposed to handmade.Overall, the food quality was good, but the portions were too small for everything except the dim sum (given that we had a table of 6 people), and some of the tofu was spoiled.

Be careful that this restaurant will scam you more amount than you actually wrote down (when you put $2 as tip, they charged you 20% as tip), I have called the waiter already but the waiter who is speaking Chinese are simply slighting me through by saying they have left a message but might take more than one week to investigate. I have been to hundreds of restaurants in United States before, but this is the first one that I have met that is taking advantage of the transaction system to cheat customers. Enjoyed being scammed? Amazing hotpot place that I wish I could keep as a secret! Crazy selection of food, good quality items (New Zealand lamb, short rib, wagyu beef?!), and friendly service! The food came within minutes of ordering. Portions come small so that you can take your pick of what to eat without guilt. Can’t wait to come here again

This place gets 0 stars, dont waste your time on this place!!!They are more concerned with your time limit for their next seating than to keep you with food and drinks. I couldnt get the food I ordered or a beer. When I told the manager we felt like we were rushed he said o well he has another party waiting for his table. That was 20 minutes before the hour and a half time limit rules. I like Goku 10000%prw than this place. Better service at Goku and better food which says to me they have superioranagent at Goku!

Best Korean BBQ + HotPot place in Bay area for sure !!! I cant wait to come back again, food is top quality, great ingredients, menu is full of fresh choices for you to decide what to get, service is quick and efficient, is very crowded during dinner, so you will have to arrive early or wait in line, theres a wait list in Yelp, very effective if you want to avoid being there waiting for more than 30mins... Had about 15-20 mins wait time on sunday evening. Meat was fresh but didnt care about marination, it was quite tasteless. Loved their dumplings. It was a little wierd that there was no kimchi in the self serve table. I requested it to the waiter but the restaurant didnt have any. Also missed the salads at the self serve table. And yes no softserve icecream anymore, yesterday they were serving fried bun with condensed milk for desert.

For those who rarely eat meat, make this place a reason for an exception. Get your moneys worth too and try everything that looks interesting. Will leave it to the staff to explain the options, but one tip is to allow enough time to work your way through it all. Id approximate at least an hour. You might fall into a pattern of finding something you like and ordering more of that, and/or being encouraged to try something new for discovering that next best thing. Whatever the case, its a slippery slope and worth the occasional indulgence, if this place can hang in there. The stop hasnt led to much success for prior occupants, but maybe this will the exception.

I wouldnt recommend it because there are quite a few decent hot pot or Korean BBQ restaurants that cost you $30 - $40. Superhot offers a variety of all you can eat menus, including dim sums, meat and seafoods, which might be a pro to some, but overall the dishes here were just not as good as other restaurants.

You can get hotpot and korean bbq at the same time here! Ive tried a lot of items, heres some thoughts:Korean bbq is pretty average in general. Dont expect super high quality meat, but its definitely not bad. Out of the meat Ive tried:- Galbi (short rib): run of the mill, standard quality meat, good marinade. Will hit the galbi spot but nothing special.- Spicy lamb: surprisingly really good, and I dont even like lamb. The marinade is fantastic.- Spicy beef: same marinade as the lamb, but for beef. Surprisingly bad given that the marinade is the same.- Wagyu: strong beefy taste. Not extremely tender or anything, but good for your hot pot- Pork belly: pretty meh, I wouldnt get it- Steak: good, but no marinade so it just depends on what you like. The meat is thick and standard quality. Overcooks easily.Their hotpot is decent. Ive tried the shanghai borsch and pork bone herb bases, both are really nice and have great umami. Some standout items for me are:- handmade noodles: really thick, chewy, and long piece of noodle. I cook this for up to 20 minutes due to how thick it is, and by the end its absorbed all the soup flavor but still remains chewy. Pretty good!- seaweed kelp: if you like thick seaweed you will definitely like this. Surprised by the good quality of the seaweed.- Fishball with roe: so good! Better than haidilao imo.- Fish paste: really yummy fish paste, although quality has gone slightly down recently- Fishball with meat: I personally do not like this at all. The meat inside has a super strange artificial aftertaste to it.- veggies: in general all their veggies are pretty good quality. No wilted leaves or anything like that. I recommend all of them.Now their dim sum is what I think really makes this place shine. They have such good quality dim sum, probably the best out of any hotpot type restaurant Ive ever been in. Stand out items:- dumplings: these dumplings are legit. Clearly sealed by hand, and the filling is very umami. I recommend the 3 flavors and the lamb & zucchini one.- crab cheese puff: if you like crab rangoon, this is literally the most elevated version of a crab rangoon Ive ever had. You can actually see the stringy flesh of the crab meat in pastry, and its fried to perfection.- potstickers: surprisingly good. It has more of a thick skin and the bottom is super crunchy and crispy.- pumpkin pancake: deceptive name, but this is basically a wonderful fried pumpkin mochi with red bean paste inside. The mochi is soft and gooey and the red bean paste is not oversweet. Probably one of my favorite items.- Beef pancake: Pretty good if you like ground beef + scallion-ish pancake- xiao long bao: These are more standard. Definitely not bad but Id rather leave more stomach room for other things.- Popcorn chicken: Better than at most hotpot places, but still not that good. Decent if you are really craving fried chicken.- Scallion pancake: not that good imo, pretty dense.- Fried bun with condense milk: really interesting texture on these, and really well fried. The bun itself is not too sweet. Worth a try, but not my favorite.

AYCE for $30. Line could get long, so get here early. You can order 10 items at a time, out of the 10, there can only be 4 meat items. The portions are fairly small, which for me is a good thing. Im not a fan of AYCE giving huge portions, because I feel obligated to finish and prohibits me from trying other things.Recommended items: short rib, rib eye, brisket, biangbiang noodle, pumpkin pie. The biangbiang noodle looks to be made in house, and very chewy.Dont recommend: beef tongue, wine beef. Beef tongue didnt taste fresh, wine beef looked like left over pieces.Overall, I like this place. Your dont get the highest quality meat if you compare it to shabu shabu place, or Korean BBQ place, but you get to enjoy both for the price of one.
