The food was very good but the service was so horrible. The waiters started throwing out comments. She started saying that she wanted to kill all Mexicans and they should all get deported. We should only speak English not Spanish . Us being Mexican made us felt very uncomfortable that we lost our appetite and we left. This is the most worst service ever never coming back again.

The food was subpar and the service was horrible. Once they started serving us they told us there was a limit to each type of meet. Only two servings of 2 pieces of L.A. short ribs for example, so when we wanted to try more of the same meat, they told us that we have had that already, so we couldnt order more. This is Not All You Can Eat, and the limits on the types of meats are not posted on any signs or on the menu. The owner or person in charge appeared upset when we asked for more meat, eventhough the serving were small. Went here with my family because our regular place was not going to open until later and we wanted to have lunch, so we gave this place a try. Not going there again! I dont usually post reviews, but I wouldnt wish this bad experience on anyone.

I love this place and this was my first time dining in here. Their side dishes tasted AMAZING and the meat was actually very high quality. I always go to GEN before but I think I’ll stick with this place from now on.

Really nice place not bad for 17.99 per person, food is really good too. I read the reviews before come, saw a lot of people saying bad service/slow service but can u really blame an old lady and old man, they are trying their best and are super sweet regardless of the service. Plus meat is good. I went with a party of 9, loved the variety of good day soju they had mango, pineapple, green grape, apple, cherry, etc. Plus they had jinro Toktok peach beer which I simply love!! Around dinner time more people start to show up and they get 1 more waitress. We got there around 3pm it wasnt packed and it was us and one more group so service was really good with just the lady and man. They kept up with our orders and kept refilling our water containers. I found it worth it for the price. And my party loved it, will come back to this place.

We went to Gen about 10 minutes away and they wanted us to wait for an hour, so we found this place close by with no wait and a quarter off the price. A real mom and pop hole in the wall next to another Korean Soft Tofu and a Japanese bento cafe.Not the cleanest place, but the price was right and the meats were tasty. The BBQ is HuGE!! compared to the size of the table, but thats better for your cooking, you can get lots on the grill. It does mean you are more likely to get some super hot oil and meat splatted at you, though.We got the $18.99 B list and started with bulgogi, kalbi, and flower steak. We could have missed the steak, but the other meats were great. We also got the spicy pork and spicy squid which were super delicious. Good portion sizes on the bulgogi and spicy pork, but the kalbi and squid were a bit smaller, understandable due to cost.Banchan was nice and tasty but not much variety. You do need to ask for rice and salad, they dont just come automatically. We liked the rice cake!Prepare to be hot, no A/C and we did get bombed by a fly from the open doors that landed on our grill and made house in our bulgogi. Our visit started off a little iffy, but the cost, no line, and overall taste won us over.

Servers where the best ! But when we ate here on 4.7.23 and there was super rude older Asian lady who kept making passive aggressive remarks to us about hurrying up and leaving because they wanted to close early. We where the last guest of the evening and it made us super uncomfortable and rushed to finish our drinks and food. The staff apologize for their bosses behavior. Would not recommended this spot.

We arrived around 1 pm, so we had a choice of seating. The restaurant was VERY clean, friendly atmosphere, the service was great. There was a large variety of fresh meat selections, and was brought out quickly. I wouldnt mind going back.

Good food. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Had to ask the server 5 times for an item and just tell to tell us they ran out of it. Wasnt even busy at the moment and Constantly had to keep calling server over in order to get attended. Place seem disorganized and low staffed... the server was a really cool guy though overall so shout out to him. except for the lady at the end who kicked us out saying they were closed and didnt let us clean up. Very rude lady.

The service was great, the meat was good. Only complaint I have is the cucumbers were soooo sweet the sauce on some of the cuts was really sweet too. I wish there was more sides to go with the meat. It was mainly meat, rice paper, and rice we ate no veggies etc.... but it was a decently priced lower then most. Id probably be back.

We did not have to wait to be seated. Not too busy. The servers were considerate and friendly. We ordered the Beef Brisket, the Chicken, and the Pork Steak. Absolutely delicious food! Not chewy at all, it was all tender and extremely flavorful. The pork was my favorite! This restaurant has delicious food and a pleasant, warm atmosphere.

You get a few all you can eat options and the prices are pretty low compared to the other kbbq places around the area. Delicious food and service at a great price but I have no idea whats going on with management.we found 2 small roaches during our stay. one on the table and one in the plate of pork belly was handed to us. we stayed after the first one since we were hungry and didnt want to cause a fuss over one bug that might have just gotten in from outside?we stayed even after the second one just because we were already almost done eating, also didnt want to just leave without paying, especially after seeing how hard our server was working alone. our server was amazing and very patient with us, but according to management all he could do for us was comp the one can of soda??? very odd. anyway I hope the management does something about the bugs because we really like this place and would hate to see it go down!

Our second visit. Great value for a buffet. Though only a single server was there around noon, our server was very attentive in very and friendly. He regularly filled the water without asking. The marinated meats were tender and not overly salty. The miso soup was tasty. The overhead fans were effective removing smoke but not noisy.

I really was excited to try this place. When my cousin and I walked in, there was a strong smell of caramelized meat. Its hard to explain but it kind of smelled dirty. The woman that ended up helping us seemed to maybe have special needs so we disregarded her somewhat rude demeanor when she sat us. She then came back talking about COVID and saying they shouldnt be open and that Facebook makes clear they are closed. We let it go because we really wanted to try the food.THEN, the same woman came back with the bonchon and said we should have ordered to go. That was the final straw. We got up in left.Im not sure if there was different management before as other comments seem to be positive. I really wanted to be try this place but it was a little too much rudeness for me to really enjoy my meal.

It is the first time in 9+ years that I do not feel welcome, despite many things and misunderstandings, it was always the favorite place of my children and me. But today we were going to celebrate my birthday, and the attention was very little. At other times there are too many people and they always apologize. But today we try to be nice to the waiter, and nothing, then another one took care of us and the same. They never asked if everything was okay or if we were occupying something else. The lack of attention has made me feel so bad. I hope they improve their service, what happened today gives me a lot to say.

Food was delicious, but never have i ever received such horrible customer service. There was an employee (older short lady) that kept an eye on us the minute we walked in until we left the place. The whole time she would keep on staring at us and walk past us and say rude comments. At one point while we were still eating she turned off our lights and said WERE CLOSED GET OUT!!!! We were so surprised when she said that, and we just decided to leave the restaurant . I will definitely not return to eat at this restaurant with the horrible experience i had there, first and my last time.

This place serves pretty good food. It had been a favorite, BUT there was a very rude little women when we went tonight. Theyre hours have changed. Online it listed that it closes at 12, when we got there the door was open and she ran over closed the door in our face then said they close at 10:30p and it was 10. We were in the parking lot in our car looking on Google for somewhere else to get food. Same little woman came outside to throw something out and said Go home. You need to leave and walked away. Then when she came back she told us You need to go, take the other cars too. (Not our cars) We told her thank you maam, we were just looking for some place open where we can eat and she says No, you have to leave, take the cars and go. She just lost a customer.

Menus shown on Google are outdated. The 9.99 has five meats, 14.99 eight meats. STILL DINING OUTSIDE get with the program people, we dont want to eat in the wind under the makeshift wood shelter we want to eat inside like civilized humans. The law for inside dining was passed weeks ago to allow inside dining. Here they are setting you outside with all the dirt, dust and street grime getting all over your meal, while listening to an ambulance blair its sirens past every five minutes. Long story short I went somewhere else right down the street and ate INSIDE nice and cozy.

Not a fancy restaurant, real mom and pop type feel with the same waitresses on any day I show up to have a $9.99 all you can eat buffet. Thsi is a place where you have to be vocal about what you want because they do not come around all the time to wait on you but they are readily available. The brisket is great and quick to heat up plus the spicy hot sauce keeps me coming back.

What i haf a problem woth the most was the fact that I walked in and asked 3 employees ig they wpuld seat me even tho i was a party of one since my two sons are under the age of 4. Rhey all said yes and so i sat and ate there.bwhen it came time to pay they charged me for the pricr of 2 adhkys claiming they only seat parties of 2. that was annoying. My autistic 2yr old was already trying to leave out the door so after 15min of them not taking ownership of their mistake I jusg paid the amount. They still tried to give me the incorrect change back by over charging me 8 extra dollars. Needless to say I will never be going back.

Hard pass.Very weird experience at this restaurant. The woman in the picture was rude for sure- but seemed like she may have been on drugs.I entered and was not greeted even thoigh the woman behind the counter was not doing anything. NBD. Im willing to chalk this up to her maybe not noticing me? But then she came over and said what do you want? I told her I was looking at the menu and she told me you should just take a picture. Kind of weird but ok. So I briefly exited the establishment to think about what had happened.I decided to re-enter with a smile and pretend that this had not just happened in the hopes of getting a better response and getting some grub. I entered alone and, upon entering, this same woman told me that I could not eat at the restaurant unless there were three people at the table. What is going on here?Then I also heard her curse in Korean because the customer before me had not left her a tip. If she treated them similarly, Im not sure how she was surprised at this.If an owner or manager would like to discuss, Im down. Dont worry, Im not complaining to get free food. I can assure you there is no way Ill ever visit this place again.

If you are not familiar with Korean bbq, this is the place to start. The staff are wonderful, they showed me how to cook the meats right (burned the pan my first time sorry about that) and introduced me to many different foods I have not seen before. If you got a group, 10 bucks a person aint bad.

Very rude and ignorant owner. I rode my motorcycle all the way from Glendora (tried to call 10 times with no answer because I know some places have a min 2 policy). When I got there they let me know the policy, but when I explained that I tried to call first and that I rode all the way from Glendora they confirmed that there phone was down. When I asked for an exception (they had many vacant tables) she said in broken Engrish sorry its store policy. I will tell everyone I know not to go.

I went with some coworkers and we all got the bulgogi lunch. It comes with a vegetable soup that we all thought was really good. Much better than the typical miso soup. The bulgogi was good too, it comes with onions and mushrooms. Their rice is different too, it has what I think are black beans in it. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back again. I really want to try the all you can eat bbq.

The really short korean lady with a mans haircut is well above and beyond rude and obnoxious. Cant express in words how rude and unfriendly she is. Not coming back here. You do realize that KBBQ restaurants are plenty in the area.

Walked in for lunch ..they asked,, what do uYou want ....were seated waited ..n waited ..they seated people after us and served the before us n told us theyd be right with us ..they never came back ..so were leaving ..and asked us why ...they were not busy..was only 1 other cupple there when we got there ....shame ..we heard thier food was really good ..but thier service sucked .....

The plastic cups are a no no they should have glass cups cleaner than plastic the seating was cozy the forks need to be hand wash not cleaned by a dishwasher the ice cream station needS to have ice cream cones that are in a clean place where not everyone is touching the cones the server was good he was a young kid but did so well and he had said it was his first day !!!!

Great kbbq. Good selection of food on basic ayce menu. Not crowded and noblong waits like other places. Grill is large and fits a lot of food. Best of all, it is cheap.

This place honestly went bad when i first started going with friends they were so polite and attend us well, well within time they became more and more less caring a month ago is when it all started the first time i felt like i was forced to leave a tip the lady that charged us kept telling me why wasnt i leaving a tip for the worker lets take a second to think they already charge a their own tip once you go with more more than 5/6 people dont quite remember because they changed it it was 8 of us so why do we have to leave another extra tip that same day i was also mad because thatd when the vad attending happened we stayed with a burning grill for about 20 min we had no food at all which is not ok we are paying so we should be attended properly that got me mad because they already charged a tip she made me look like a stingy type of guy because i wouldnt leave a tip there was people waitting to pay so yeah people were seeing her forcing me to leave a tip type situation, second time we were waitting we were called up next she started rushing us to hurry up we were trying to sit with our dates, nooooooo the mean looking lady started screaming for us to hurry up amd when we would try to rearrange eachother she wouldnt let us finish out sentences we felt so bothered we said we werent going anymore to this place that was the most disrespectful thing i ever witnessed in a restaraunts that we became very well comfort to we always went so we thought we desevebmore then to just be yelled at like that and well finally after a month we decided we could go again its a saturday night they close late so lets go we got there they sat us in the corner all the way in the back where no one can see us this day was also really bad service we didnt get fed about 25 min we had no food and no water for that long and when they woul come with our stuff nothing was complete as we ordered i love my brisket with rice paper so i always ask for both at the same time he would always forget one of the other we have been patient with this restaurant we always left tips if treated properly but in honesty Mr. Lees is where we are at now they come and check on us every 3/4 minutes nothing ever goes missing it all comes done right they dont wait for us to ask for something and really organized place thats why i rated this place a one star they have been bad with service.

After hh-ing at EMC, and going to the Bobtory plaza that was unexpectedly closed, my crew and I made it to Surawon. LOVE THAT THERES FREE PARKING! I didnt recognize this as a korean restaurant because the decor was that of a Mexican restaurant.This is a great group restaurant, as there are many dishes that are meant to be shared with 2-3 people. Their banchan was soo goood and Im such a banchan fan that this is +2 stars for me. Many of the dishes here are soup based- spicy and not spicy. It is a very mom and pop feel, and I recommend you trying the Gamchatang- pork neck and potato stew. The meat is fall off the bone tender. It comes with rice to mix the stew in. And at the end, you slurp down the stew which warms your stomach :)My only regret is not properly securing it in my car as my to-go portion spilled all over my car after falling down T_T
