Surfside Seafood in Port Hueneme

Excellent atmosphere, food is good and service is fast. Pricing is ok. The menu selection is large, but they also have other meals like hamburgers and steaks for the ones that dont like seafood. Tables cleans and nice view to the ocean.

Fish place with fresh fish (you need to ask halibut is usually local) on the beach, food tastes good and is creative, portions are big for taco, it used to be cheaper now comparable pricing to other places, they have live music sometimes which is nice.

This place is 5 stars across the board but it could get a little pricey, with that being said the food is worth every penny. Along with the great food you will have an amazing view of the beach. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants fresh seafood, friendly service and a great view. Id also like to add that there is live music on some days, which days those are Im not sure but you can call and find out. I hope you have an amazing visit and enjoy your time here.

The best fish and chips, I have ever had. Absolutely loved every bite of it. I went to beach and ended up here without any idea about the place . A variety of seafood is offered in the menu like shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops, calamari, clams, oysters and of course the fish. Its a fun place to hang out in the outdoor seating with ocean view and live music. Dole Pineapple Whip is available here, I have stood in queue like an hour in Disney to buy this. I love everything about this place, definitely will visit again. My only concern was that its a bit pricey place.

The Fish n Chips was a pretty good deal and tasty. Coleslaw was ok…but I did spruce it up with the available malt vinegar at condiment counter. Had one sip of my sister’s margarita which was also very good. Indoor and outdoor dining available. Located right next to the pier, so it’s nice to take a stroll after a meal. They have live music 🎶 on Wednesdays…which I have to say was OUTSTANDING!!! Played a wide range of songs.

Just ok. Youre a little trapped as theres not much more around. We had fish tacos and fish and chips. Both were just ok.

So far my experience is pretty tame, No military discount here though or at least the guy said not at this time, so they probably do special occasions. So CONs: 1 crab cake cost 10.95 with fries its 2 dollars more, the taste is ok, but not worth the price. Also cheese fries can only be ordered alone they wont add it to fries you get with your food so even if fries are 2 dollars more cheese fries are like 8 bucks plus and there is no way eased droped the apparently regular melted cheese worth 6 and some change. PRO: Fresh oysters were surprisingly good worth the price ponzu sauce carried though. Neutral Ground: the 4pc fish was painfully bland on its own, but if you like sauces then you would like them, and the pieces were huge I would stick to the 2pc if you have a small stomach. Its good for an experience but maybe not a constant date out choice and this review was made while I was craving fried fish sooo.... you have been warned ok byeeee.TLDR: oyster ok, fish with sauce ok, get 2pc for small stomachs, crab cake avoid the disappointment

The place was clean, service was good, the oyster was fresh but the ceviche tostada was not fresh and no flavor. Cant tell what kind of fish or seafood it was. the seared ahi tuna was alright. it was just quickly seared with a dash of sesame oil and some seeds on top. We had some other small dishes but nothing stood out except the beach and the pier.

The pic are the Butterfly shrimp and fried shrimp. Food was fresh and good. Sits at/on beach. You can see the beach just over the glass wall and short walk to the water. The restroom for the restaurant is the beach public restroom which is the building just on the otherside of glass wall in 📸. Wednesday evening had a live music playing, good.

This is our go-to stop for fish and chips and a cold beer. A little out of the way, but quiet beach, a great pier, and out of this world fish and chips is well worth it. We are usually passing through in our RV, and I can always find oversize parking in the big lot which is inexpensive. Pro tip: The regular fish and chips are surprisingly far better than the more expensive halibut.
