Excellent food and service. Broad variety of menu choices, probably over 40 options for rolls. Rated in top 10 for Ramen. Family owned, great dinner service from Doug who makes every visit a fun one. Best selection and freshest fish of any local sushi restaurant Ive been to. You can add jalapenos or request no onions or other simple options. Take out available, lunch now being served again, a real gem of a local business

The food is amazing! Such a nice vibe inside. The food is reasonably priced. You have to try their honey green tea. We even got a complimentary scoop of green tea ice cream. Well be back for sure.

Omg this place is so great the food is amazing love the teriyaki chicken roll. also, the shrimp crunch roll. The prices are great I can’t wait for them to open up again I am a picky person and this place has me coming back I would order 3x a week u will not be disappointed. I have not been able to find a sushi place that beat this one.

Sushi box is a little hidden gem tucked away in Brea. This is a small sushi spot but the food, flavor and presentation speaks VOLUMES. When I got there I was greeted and seated. I sat at the bar because I love to see the Sushi creators make the rolls! My food was ready in 10 to 15 mins. I tell you that this is geunuine FOOD ART!! It tastes just as good as it looks. I took my time enjoying every bite. I also love to eat put and try to have little to no carbs. I had a side of mouth watering Shashimi. My absoutle favorite is called the love love. It is slices of raw tuna stuffed with spicy raw tuna SHAPED AS HEARTS and topped with pieces of avacado mesago. It came with a salad in the middle of my plate with vinaigrette on the salad. I absolutely love it because the roll had No rice. It was a lunch special and very affordable. I the Red Spider Roll was riceless too it was so good. If you love sushi swing by and give this spot a try! You will not be dissapointed.

Super tasty, I got a bento with teriyaki chicken, crunch roll and edamame. It also came with a salad. I had mine to go and it came in a box with a tray that had separate compartments for everything. Great portion sizes. I will definitely be going more often.

What a treat this place is. The baked mussels were delicious. The yellowtail sashimi was fresh, generously cut and out of this world. The service was friendly and attentive. Ill definitely be returning.

First time eating here.. place is clean.. fish is fresh.. bento box order was ok.. nothing special.. chicken was barely warm.. portions were small.. flavor on point.. but for 17$ I would expect a little more satisfying meal.. and I would expect at least 1 side of sriracha to be included in my order.. to say you are charging for it because of the shortage is just wrong.. 🤷🏻‍♀️I guess you gotta pay premium for good food and a filling portion.. a bit overpriced for its location..

I had Soft Shell for appiteizer which was really mouthwatering. For sushi rolls, I love Spicy Crunch. Ive never tasted so high quality sushi before. I also want everyone to try Omijaa ade for drinks because you can only have this healthy drink at Sushi Box.Server was super friendly and the chef was professional. Truely, Sushi Box lives up to the other good reviews by other customers!

I been to Sushi Box many times. I like the special rolls and bento boxes. The sushi used to be better quality prior to the pandemic. They stopped giving free ice cream or sliced oranges. The staffs are friendly.

Fair food fair prices. The waitress have much of nothing to do and I had to ask them for the same items several times. They sit in their corners just talking and forget about their customers, the place had 2 tables to wait uponThese waitresses are young and chatty, this has been the same thing every time I been there. JUAN asked me why i had not come in while, but now, I remembered why, service is very slacking. Be ready to bug these servers at least 3 times to get you your items...

Great little hole in the wall place. The sushi is unique and great, plus you get a lot for what you pay for. The service is beyond 5 stars. It’s got a great ‘coffee house’ feel to it. Definitely my new sushi place.

We’ve been coming here for a couple of years and it’s always great! Our favorite is the Salmon/Mango roll. It’s the perfect combination! I highly recommend it... the roll and honestly anything else on the menu. Their green tea ice cream is the best 😊

Why is everything on your menu spicy?? We just ordered take out, including garlic edamame, and we did not request for it to be spicy, and it’s insanely spicy! And now we’re at home and I cannot enjoy part of my meal. Why is making everything spicy your default? It doesn’t make any sense! It’s a real bummer as sushi is the one thing my husband and I enjoy and we don’t get out much due to having small children and I am disappointed.

Great place for lunch. Now I have yet to try the actual sushi here (nigiri) but their bento boxes are solid, sushi burritos are very good, and they always give you ice cream at the end (green tea). Definitely recommend for a healthier lunch that tastes amazing with good service. Note, its usually a 45 min meal from sit down to leaving.

From the outside, Sushi Box is rather unassuming. Small, somewhat tucked away, and part of a strip mall, its easy to skip. But youll really miss out if you do!Inside, it doesnt matter how busy it is, its always cozy and pleasant. The chefs prepare the food to order, in front of you. The ingredients are high quality and always delicious. From the sushi, to the bentos, to the various cooked options its very hard to find something that isnt tasty and satisfying!Honestly, it may ruin you for other sushi places!

Only have great things to say about my first time here. Stopped in for dinner on a Monday night after checking it out on Yelp. Not too busy, but a good amount of customers for this area around 7pm.Ordered the C1 bento box with a spicy tuna roll (great flavor and included avocado inside roll), 4 pieces of sushi (yellowtail, salmon, tuna, and albacore were tasty), edamame, and mixed green salad. Also tried the almond cabbage salad and loved it. Good house-made dressings on both types of salads.Overall, a great value for a delicious meal.Service was beyond great. Very friendly staff/management, and everyone took the time to explain ingredients and answer any questions.Definitely worth a try with such a wide variety of items on the menu. I look forward to many more meals here.

Meet the new owners of Shushi Box in Brea, David and Elena. If you thought it was good before.... Wow... They have exceeded expections beyond what we could imagine. They are bringing on new rolls and dishes with sauces out of this world. We tried their new roll Fireworks now our favorite. And their new melting Albacore is also a new favorite. No other Sushi place has ever compared to the Sushi Box magic. They have added lunch hours and are also open 7 days a week.

Best restaurant to come to for sushi, sashimi, ramen, and bento specials. All of the fish is top quality and their rice is well prepared and cooked. The owners and help are upbeat, friendly, and personable. My husband and I became quick regulars and have abandoned all other Japanese restaurants for this one. Price is amazing as well; sometimes we have to fight to actually pay more for the food.
