All the rolls have been tasty and made well. I’ve come here many times through the years and I keep coming back. Potstickers are kids approved and miso soup always hits the spot. The menu is full of variety with fun local names. Stuff is friendly and service is good. Support your small businesses.

9/2023 good food, but service, and food are still slow, even not crowded.7/2023 I enjoyed the atmosphere. The sesame chicken was delicious, recommended. Teriyaki steak is ok, could have been better if theres an option to get a medium cook instead of default well done. Jalapeños poppers were a bit overcooked. The beto boxes took quite a while to come after we finished the appetizer.

Sushi was fresh and the portions were generous. Ordered nigiri which was excellent. The rolls were just average and lacking ingredients to balance them out. The restaurant was busy and our server was in the weeds. I’d go back again to try a few different rolls to see if we just picked two meh rolls. We ordered Matty’s roll and a Zig Zag roll. The nigiri was a far better choice.

I ate here at least 7 times during my visit and loved their sushi. Food is always fresh. A friend also tried their bento box and liked it!

As a non-sushi fan, the sushi was trash. The chicken ramen was mid, not enough noodles. Fried broccoli was da bomb for the first couple bites and then it deteriorated. Service was excellent. Although many, all orders arrived exactly as asked. Highly sus how you had to pay extra for pop even tho we were never informed on this. The strawberry ice cream was muy delicioso and I strongly recommend trying it for dessert. Overall it was a great family restaurant, it’s just that for people who do not like sushi it is not the sushi place for you my friend. Hope this helps. God bless !! According to my friend (who likes shushi ) its the best sushi place !!! So go for it 😀

Update: I came by to do takeout... place literally just opened, and already I was being rushed looking through the menu. My food had sat on the counter for a good amount of time before the server finished packing my order.The food is still delicious, but the portion has gone noticeably smaller. The Lion King Roll for $18.95 is not justified. Im so disappointed because I loved Sushi Cafe. I just dont think Id keep on patronizing it after my experience today.9 months ago: Been coming here for the last 2 years... still one of my favorite sushi places...Food is always fresh and delicious and you get so much value for your money... i love their bento boxes and freeport roll.2 years ago: Came here for lunch with hubby... place was packed but didnt feel crowded... foods were fresh, tasty and appropriately portioned... prices were very reasonable... our male server was very nice and courteous... will come back.

Great for a budget sushi chain. I love their lunch bentos. If you want to have extremely high quality sushi, and pay a higher price, go next door to kru. The owners/staff are always very nice.

One chef on a Saturday and the sushi is not fresh but the sauce is ok. The prices are on par with the area which is downtown. It was a let down when I had high hopes for as well reviewed this place is.

Used to go here all the time. Recently went with moderate sized party. Sushi was good, but not as great as it once was. The Spare Ribs were overcooked, but not bad. Hope they can improve back to baseline.

Delicious! My son got the chicken teriyaki and sesame chicken bento box and I got mattys roll and 49er roll. All was really delicious! You can taste all the different flavors in the rolls. The ambiance is perfect! Great for date night with hubby! Definetly recommend! We will be returning!
