Sushi Delight is and will always be my favorite sushi restaurant. The service is always great. Food is always amazing.Atmosphere is always welcoming. I am currently in treatment and cant really eat much so when Im hungry its Sushi Delight for me! The owner Jerry is always friendly and helpful. He consistently participates in every aspect of his restaurant and it shows by the appreciation and quality his staff puts into their work. Sushi Delight never disappoints!

Oh yeahhhhh...... special of buy yellowtail collar n get salmon collar free.... if come here everyday if they had that special. Yellowtail collar had sooooo much meat on it n tender with wonderful flavor. Salmon collar wasnt as good a the yellowtail, but very solid with lots of meat on it!!! Aloha n the heart attack rolls was da bomb!!! All around great dinner!!!!

The BEST sushi in the South Bay! The atmosphere is also so cute and fun. They have a giant screen for any sporting games. The staff is friendly, and the food is just so yum!!! Cant recommend this place enough. They also make their take out sushi look so pretty!

Great sushi place to go to! I usually judge a sushi place by how good their sashimi is and this place is definitely top tier and high quality. Fish is extremely fresh with very little to none fishy taste. Rice is really good and blends with the fish. I decided to get the oysters and the mayflower boat and everything was delicious! For the price, I would go here again if Im in the area.

I must say that I am highly disappointed that I’VE DROVE PAST BY THIS PLACE ALL THIS TIME!!! I was very surprised with their roll taste! Probably the best roll place I have ever been to (their nigiri is pretty good but more toward average side). Rolls are freshly made right on the spot. It’s kind of hard to find a place where fried rolls are served warm and crispy. This place knows how to satisfy you with your taste buds dancing to the maximum level. Their lunch specials are very affordable for the quality served that deserves more. Quite honestly, I’m bringing the whole crew here soon. DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT!!!

It’s a great sushi place with very nice and fast staff!The miso soup was great!The sushi rolls as a food was great and high quality but not technically a sushi!“Fusion Roll, “Burnt Out Roll”, and “S.F.G. Roll” are highly recommended!The atmosphere is cool and there are many parking spots out in the plaza.On Friday night the waiting time for party of 2 was 80 minutes which was worth.It’s a little bit pricey compared to the food quality!Highly recommended!

Great experience! I think the portions are huge, I was having lunch by myself and I often get 2 things but here it turned out to be a lot and I took most of the sushi to go :) So my suggestion - get 1 item per person. Delicious and it was comfortable to sit inside for dining in. Very satisfied 😊

We took our son here for his 13th birthday Our son has always wanted to try sushi. So for his first time we decided to meet up with my father in law Officer Thomas Malloy and his new girlfriend Ma Jouela. The employees were all very nice and welcoming. The food was crisp and clean they even brought my son a birthday dessert to share with us. The night was so much fun and I wish it could of lasted longer......

I ordered the Bento Box with spicy chicken with mushrooms and onion. The thin strips of tasteless dark meat chicken looked like they may have been leftover cuttings from a poultry factory floor. The emphasis on reducing food costs as close as possible to zero continued with the addition of a few small, thin slivers of onion and several almost microscopic pieces of mushroom, both of which added nothing to the dish. This theme continued with the mayonnaise heavy California roll to, incredibly, the tempera dipping sauce, which had been so adulterated with water that it was completely tasteless. There is no one working in the kitchen of this Japanese restaurant who is Japanese or of Japanese descent, which is perfectly fine, if only the food were better and those preparing it were not hamstrung by the restaurant owners emphasis on keeping food costs low.

Sushi delight is one of my favorite South Bay sushi spots. It’s located in a strip mall but that being said it’s really good! And you know a place is good when it’s always packed and a wait to get a table! My absolute favorite roll is the 20/20! I can eat this all day! The flavors are in point. Also this restaurant is great when you want to watch sports events! Games are always on their TVs and the environment is friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend adding yourself to the yelp waitlist so you don’t have ti wait as long

Amazing sushi in a random location!! As someone who lives in Tokyo, I couldn’t believe how great the quality and freshened of the fish were. Sometimes you just crave Americanized sushi rolls and this place definitely hit the spot. Been to a lot of sushi places in socal and def one of the places with great balance of taste and different styles of rolls. Highly recommended!

After 2 years of social distancing and food delivery, this is the first restaurant the wife and I went to. The food is still great from memory. Highly recommend the salmon skin salad, nice portion and fantastic flavor. I was so excited and ate up the salad before I remembered to take pictures.We got the sashimi special and 2 rolls. The fish and ingredients are fresh and the rolls are tasty. I loved the extra ginger and Wasabi. Service is excellent from everyone and not just our waitress. The wait staff seems to help each other.

This was my first time ever to Sushi Delight and let me tell you, I am a life long fan! I enjoyed their Calamari Tempura Roll and their Lexus Roll and the Shrimp Tempura Roll. I even tried the Dynamite Roll! Each roll was so fresh and delicious! The rolls are so good you dont even need to dip them into any sauces.Jerry was running the show there at Sushi Delight and he had a relationship with just about everyone who walked into the restaurant to pick up their order. Its refreshing to go somewhere that cares about more than making a profit off of you.Let me share that I enjoyed it so much at lunchtime, that I went back for dinner that same day!!! It was awesome that they were offering 20 percent off specialty rolls that day too!I will be visiting real soon to calm the craving I have had since visiting Sushi Delight!

Should have left when the spot we wanted to sit was an area they hold for larger parties. We were only 2. The miso soup was bland. The tempura dipping sauce was bland (1st time Ive ever added salt to my dipping sauce and it still was bland) The garlic edemame was bland and should have been cooked with salt. Even adding salt to it didnt help. Overall, it really wasnt a satisfying dinner. It filled our stomachs. We wont be back.

IMO, best sushi in the South Bay. For the exceptional quality of fish and customer service, the price is more than fair. I would definitely say that the customer is getting the better end of the deal. Comfortable and cozy, a great place for a date or lunch with friends. Service is always quick and I can usually grab a quick but great lunch. Normally Im in and out within 35 minutes for lunch. This place is so good that I almost dont want to write this so it doesnt become too crowded, but Im going to keep going anyway!Im not well versed on the Japanese terminology, but the sushi that is just rice and fish is by far the best Ive had in the South Bay. The quality of their salmon sushi is exceptional. It is well marbled and almost buttery to the taste. The texture of the rice that they use is perfect, just enough of a bite to add texture but not overbearing or dry.Their sushi rolls are also wonderful. My favorite is the Harley Davidson roll, which is a wonderfully tempura fried roll that has salmon and cream cheese in it, with other delicious things inside and out to add to the rich creaminess. Sounds a bit odd on paper, but it is a very unique and savory roll.Great small place tucked away behind other mediocre businesses. Seriously, come and check it out, youll be hard pressed to be let down.

This is my favorite sushi spot of all time! You cannot beat the flavors and deliciousness of the rolls here. Our family favorite is the Lomita roll and Lobster Roll but we add cream cheese to them, thats just an addition that we like, either way...they are delectable. Owner and staff are super friendly. They keep making additions so that your dinning experience is a pleasant one. Good spot to watch some games and have some beers.

This place is one of the best in the South Bay !! The rolls are thick and the seafood is very fresh. The place gets very crowded so be ready to wait but the wait will be worth it. Ive tried so many of the different specialty sushi on the menu.. Its so hard to pick a fav. Went for Mothers Day and had a great dinner, tried the Aloha roll for the first time, its new, it was so so good! Youll like this one if you like the combo of hot and cold, and theres no rice or seaweed on this one. Its different, but in a really good way and Ill definitely order it again on my next visit. This was my first time there and I am excited to have found this place. I was there with my nephews and we had a sushi boat, the Mayflower. It was perfect for the three of us. My only complaint was that it wasnt easy to get a servers attention, but to be fair, it was busy so it wasnt their fault. I am looking forward to coming back!

Great people, great sushi. Today we got a large order to-go and in trying to reorganize my trunk with a $100+ of sushi in hand I somehow dropped the platter on the ground.. what a horrible feeling. I told the staff, intent on fully paying for the same order.. but the staff gave me a significant discount to lessen the pain. I come here at least once a week. Last Friday, me and my friend came and ordered our usual, same as always. We were literally the only table that the servers did not check in with. We were confused as to why? Not even being offered a refill during the hour we were there. We proceed to pay at the register since we had not been given a bill. The poor excuse of an owner told us to sit and he would bring the check. We told him we had been waiting long and instead of simply saying something like “sorry about that” he replied, “30 min? Really?” then proceeded to slam the check on the counter. He then said, “if you needed the check you could have flagged down one of the servers”. Again, we are here often and never have to do that. Still confused as to why we were the only table not being checked in with. All we were expecting from a restaurant “OWNER” was a simple apology. Instead, we received attitude and arrogance. It was not even a big deal, we were more confused than annoyed until we realized the kind of person we were dealing with. Since I’m here, I should mention the fact that the cooks don’t wear any gloves and the “restaurant” has had a grade of a “B” for as long as I can remember. All over social media, people degrade this place and I never understood why until my last and final visit Friday. The owner has claimed to “value” his customers but becomes infuriated with an honest review and calls the guest “pathetic”. So professional! Rather than trying to help the issue, the customer receives back lash? What a man! What an owner!

Ample portions and my friend had a yummy LomitaRoll ...If you live in the area walk or drive down. Only drawback is the crumbly old plaza and parking lot where the restaurant was located. Been to this sushi place twice for take away. The first time the food was good, but the second time, which was on October 24, 2018, the sushi tasted like day old food and was very bland. The rice was hard and the tempera tasted like it had expired a long time ago. We also order the Mushroom Bomb which we loved the first time but on the second visit the mushroom was dry and gummy like it was not cooked enough. Both my wife and I felt sick after eating the food. Will not return.

Our new local sushi spot! The best of everything. And I dont eat seafood, hahaha. The sushi lovers in our group loved everything they tried and I am hooked on their cucumber salad and gyoza, so ono!! If you have a non seafood eater in the group, the chicken or beef teriyaki is the bomb! Some days their rolls are 1/2 price before 6 pm, which makes a huge difference on the bill. Saturday nights are pretty busy, and the place is lively. Great food, decent prices and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place :)

The manager of this place should be ashamed for not placing an importance on customer service. He must have forgot that his place is only open DUE to the customers. We received attitude from him for wanting to pay for our bill at the register because we waited too long at the table for the bill. He rudely told us to sit back down but we didn’t. Proceeds to slam the bill on the counter with attitude. My friend and I were in awe that a manager was treating a customer like this. We were gonna just pay our bill and go and forget about the slow service but this manager really put the cherry on top and made the experience even worse. Never stepping foot in this establishment again. They’ll probably violate health codes for the 10th time pretty soon anyway.

A Delight indeed. Think Ive been here close to 100 times. Love their menu, full of photos of every kind of sushi roll they make. Good selection of sushi and sashimi. Teriyaki salmon or chicken bento boxes filled with tempura, California roll, and salad always fill me up. Got the 16 piece sashimi plate. Very fresh sashimi, some of the best ice had recently. The platter had white tuna, yellow tail, tuna and salmon. I dont like salmon sashimi, but it was fresh and the other three selections were excellent.Had a very fun desert menu, we got the mint chip with a dark chocolate shell. A refreshing ending.Great service and a very chill atmosphere. Would definitely come again.
