Their portions are large! The meat is not dry like other local Japanese restaurants. It is pricey but you get enough food to maybe even take back home. We had good service too. It does take a little longer than usual to get your food but I think its because its nice and fresh. You also get free small plate of edamame at dine-in service

Great Japanese Food! We got there Mountain Roll and the Poke Salad for a quick lunch. The service was ok. The Mountain rolls hit you with multiple delicious flavors of salty and savory. The poke Salad tasted amazing! Some of the best salad I’ve ever had. Overall Pretty Good!

Went for lunch about a week ago. As soon as I walked in the host girl rudely asked what I wanted. Told me to sit in any small table. After 10 min of sitting and servers walking past me I was finally asked if I wanted something to drink. I placed my order and after a while it came out. Great food but horrible staff. While I was eating a lady came in about 30 min before closing time to place a to go order. The host again told her well we’re about to close your super close to closing time and the lady kept apologizing. Her food was ready within 10 min of placing it. It was about 2: 17 when my Server kept pacing back and forth hurrying me to finish and pay and brought my check without me asking. I knew the closing time and was well aware that I needed to be out of there fast toReturn to work but the whole experience was horrible. Never again am I dinning in. Horrible experience.

Big fat zero, dirty double red flagged restaurant that preps cooked food on contaminated surfaces and the sushi guys cough and sneeze on their hands and then prepare your rolls!!! The floor mats are never washed as well!!! The servers prep the miso bare handed no gloves, cause jack rushes them!! Had diarrhea every time I ate there!!!the fridge is poorly organized and meat and fish drip onto the vegetables!!! Theres so much dirt and dust surrounding the serving stations you cough!!!

Went tonight (Tuesday night) it was slow but the service was fast. Very clean and cutely decorated. When it comes to the food though, its why Im giving this place 3 stars, Miso soup had a bit too much salt in it, my sons beef teriyaki came out hot (which is good) but my chicken came warm, almost cold. Same with the tempera, not really good overall. Ill come again because maybe I caught them on a bad night and Ill change my rating accordingly.

I love sushi garden, I always get the same sushi rolls. The grinch, philly, and golden philly. This last time I was there, I felt like we had to keep asking for things, the waitress only checked on us when we were almost done eating. Also, for some reason they didnt add wasabi and ginger so we had to ask. I wonder if theres a wasabi shortage, it wasnt spicy AT ALL, it didnt taste like wasabi... hhm. That is my only complain.

The food was good, service was good... but as a non smoker and a chef it was so gross seeing the sushi chef walk right out front (watched thru the window we were seated by) and smoke a cigarette, throw it on ground outside door and think nothing of it as he went back to work (I can only assume he washed is hands).

I honestly dont know why this place has 4 stars, usually Google reviews are spot on. Id like to say that this isnt my first time trying this place. Its been about two years since my last visit, despite that Id say the service and food are the same.1. Everything on the menu was an 86 item no uni, no quail, no oysters, no inaki. No they dont make garlic edamame. Everything was a no despite the hand written daily specials they have advertised on their specials board. The response was we dont have a shipment (sounds like poor management to me)2. The server was rude and acted like she didnt want to be there.3. The miso soup tastes old4. The place altogether could use some.deep cleaning especially post COVID.Needless to say Ive been to this place 3 separate occasions and each time the food and service was terrible. For a place charging $14- $16/roll you can get better food and service elsewhere.

The food is tasty, but the wait is a bit ridiculous. If I remember correctly we came in at 12:30 wasnt able to order fill around 1, and didnt get our food till approximately 1:30. Love the sushi and tempura but the wait is a bit extreme, dont come if your really hungry or starving.

Food is good quality. Service is hit and miss. Some servers are good, and others are ok. Also with just my wife and I, we havent managed to get our food at the same time yet. Been here 3x over the past 2 weeks. They have a good sake/beer combo deal. Will still go back, but some of the servers need to step up the attentiveness.

Food was great...setting is a issue. Will not accommodate 3 or 4 people fast. Will make you wait, while they have large tables stay empty for large parties. Had to wait 20min while 3 large tables was empty. Rather go somewhere else now knowing that..waitress need to learn customer service, who trained them..more like McDonalds service to me.

Honestly, dont waste your money on average restaurant food with below average service and atmosphere.There have been several issues I have had with this restaurant, and the kicker was tonight when my waitress got orders wrong, had to be asked several times for pretty basic things, did not bring out items, promised a free item because everything was going pretty bad, then double charged me for items and also charged me for the free item, and proceeded to argue with me about what I had ordered when her coworker questioned the charges.Go somewhere else.

This by far was the worst experience i have ever encountered at a restaurant. So today being Valentines day i decided to treat my sweetie to a wonderful dinner and this is what happend. I tried calling sushi garden to place an order but the phone just rang and rang with no-one answering. So i decided to place my order online and the order was accepted and confirmed and charged. So i drove over 30 min to get to therestaurant. The window for pick up given to us was online the order would be ready by 7:30pm.We arrived ontime and asked the gentelman working and was told to wait outside and our name would be called when ready. We waited 30min outside in the freezing cold and once again asked about our order and then was told then ran out of rice and could not fulfill our order and a refund would be given. However with the chaotic and unprofessional staff we did not trust a refund would be given as my order was over 100.00. So the staff finally called the back office and a refund was given. So by the time we were done with this whole ordeal all other resturaunts were closed and needles to say the only thing open was fast food. So i want to thank Sushi Garden for there time wasting and unprofessionalismon Valentines day. Do not waste your time with this resturaunt.

Great first impression went back tonight good and service was awful. We were ignored, food took to long, some of the hot sushi we ordered was cold, staff took way to long and had bad attitudes and ignored everyone waiting to be seated. Great food when there is not to many people but once it gets busy the quality of service and food deteriorates.

I went for lunch today and the waitress was great but what bothers me is the fact that they dont even acknowledge you when you walk in. Usually you are greeted by the Sushi chefs but no here. The salmon was good and tempera was pretty good a little to much batter on the shrimp. It is just OK for me. A smile would go a long way.

The food is very good here, however Valentine day takeout was a bust...pre-ordered online to pick up at an alloted time, but end up having to wait outside for more than an hour after the alloted time, to get home and reheat food because it was most likely packed and waiting, but the wait staff keep telling folks itll be another 25 minutes.Id like to say it was an isolated incident, however everyone went thru this.Hopefully 2022 Valentine day will be a vast improvement

My family has been here 2 times before and we have had a grate time so I decided to bring my dance students here that were visiting from out of town we hoped to have anouther good experience unfortunately we waited about an hour for food and when I went up to management and told them how long we had been waiting they apologised and talked to out waiter after she came over and tried to tell me that it was only 23 minutes I told her that was not true and to add on to that 3 people at other tables that were walkins got there sushi and food before ours. I called (during their dinner hours) just to get 1 bowl of sushi rice togo and the phone kept ringing for over 10 minutes and finally disconnected. I tried calling again and the same thing happened. I decide to just go to the restaurant, as it would take maybe 5 mins to get my order together. After standing in the front of the togo area for over 10 mins next to other people that had also not been greeted or even acknowledged, I left. Honestly the worst part about this, is the fact that I love Sushi Garden. I understand that places can get busy, especially from my own experience after servering tables for years. Sushi garden is a great place to sit back and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Their rolls are very fresh and the selection of rolls is quite abundant. Always be sure to ask them about specialty rolls because they are always willing to do anything to keep your business. I prefer the spicy tuna roll with extra chili flavor. Eternal sunshine, dragon roll, sashimi, 49er roll, and others keep us coming back, and with 3 locations to choose from, it makes it a lot easier for anyone to grab some lunch or dinner either with a friend or family.

I love surf and turf, so I order Teriyaki beef and tempura shrimp. The beef is top grade skirt steak, so it is juicey everytime. You cant find this at any other sushi restaurant anymore. I start with the Captain crunch sushi roll, topped with spicy tuna (raw), instead of the spicy peanut sauce. It is tempura on the outside with freshwater eel on the inside. Topped with raw spicy tuna! Cost extra but well worth it, I am sure it will become your favorite, as well.

The staff were friendly, so I was able to have a good meal. Sometimes there is a wait, so I have to endure hunger, but since it is a crowded shopping center, waiting is natural. The food was clean and simple, and the donburi portions were generous, and the men were all good eaters. It seemed like it was too much to eat. Of course, I ate it all ^^
