Definitely worth coming here for the value. The food is pretty good too. It’s in a small food court with lots of other Asian food establishments.I got a bento box with the mixed tempura and the tempura was nice and crunchy if that’s your preference. However, the mixed tempura comprised of only shrimp and sweet potato. I’m out a fan of sweet potato. I wish they offered other tempura like onion, zucchini or broccoli.The chicken cutlet was good, but if you don’t like the sauce to be on the cutlet, just let them know. I liked it the way it cameThere’s a special on the sushi where if you buy certain rolls you can buy other ones for half off. Not a bad deal.

I was pleasantly surprised ordering a bento box and a couple rolls from Sushi in the Box at the food court near 99 Ranch. The prices are pretty good and the food was tasty and fresh. I noticed the bento boxes had a few extras you might expect if you were at a restaurant. And it came with a Hi-chew candy, which my kid stole from me.

3.5 stars. Great value for the bento boxes! Service was fast, tempura and fried pork and chicken cutlets were both delicious but sashimi could be a hit or miss, raw fish tasted fishy at times. And, they’ve started to charge $1 for the complimentary miso soup. (07/2021)

We had the bento boxes and some Cali rolls. The food was very tasty and prices were reasonable especially if you take advantage of the buy one get one half off specials. Keeping this place on my rotation

Items 13-24 are on special currently for ‘Buy 1 get 1 at 50% off’. An order of 2 rainbow rolls and 2 dragon rolls came out to less than $33 dollars. Party tray #4 is an awesome deal for people who like it raw. Party tray #3 is great for no-raw lovers. Hand rolls are 2 pieces for $6. Great place to get take out. They ask for your phone number and you pick up by giving the last 4 digits of your phone number.

It is a long time family restaurant. They moved from temple city to Arcadia recently. They have good reputation for fresh tasty food for reasonable price.

Good bento box. It took 30 minutes to make, but I assumed they time was necessary because they are making it from scratch. They also call you when the order is finished so you can wait inside your car. I recommend going there to order the 1st time and once you figure out what to get, you can call them and place your order.

My family and I came here on a Saturday, and it wasnt crowded at all. The staff here are very friendly. They do not speak a lot of English, but just enough to take your orders. We ordered some ramen and sushi, from here, and they were very delicious while not being concentrated. One problem I have is that when I ordered the chicken cutlet ramen bowl, they separated the chicken and the ramen itself. The chicken came after 5 minutes which I didnt like. Despite that, I liked te fact that the cooks did their best to keep their food fresh. Note that when ordering ramen, they give you 4 free California rolls which is awesome. If youre coming here yourself to order ramen and sushi, just order a bowl of ramen. The sushi on the other hand was solid when grabbing it with chopsticks unlike how other restaurants have their sushis. The environment of this place has a good atmosphere, but the places interior wasnt that good. Overall, I recommend coming to this restaurant. I guarantee that the food will satisfy you.

Prices are a bit high but fair. I liked that you can kind of customize your selection (just ask). However, I had a bad order once a while ago and I was told they change chefs on different days. Went back when I was craving was pretty decent still.

Ive ordered the sushi rolls here for their buy one get one 1/2 off deal. The rolls are ok, mostly just california rolls with little variant among the different rolls. With the special price, its a decent deal.

Very good food. Teriyaki bowls and Ramen are both flavorful with good consistency . The sushi is outstanding and delectable. I order their catering platters every year for our daughter’s bday pool party and it always fly off the trays fast as opposed to Pizza or Sooubways. 😂 I personally like their futomaki rolls, it’s the best.

Loved this place. With the loss of Tokyo Lobby, this is the only place in the region to get decent Sushi/Japanese food. However, had to remove on star because their lunch special recently shrank in size by half with the price remaining the same (real bummer). The air conditioning is weak on a hot day.

Boyfriend and I have tried other sushi places and no other place compares to this. Probably the most fresh sushi we have ordered delivery/take out from with extremely reasonable prices. We stumbled upon this place and LOVE their 22 piece sushi, onigiri with salmon, and their pork ramen. My boyfriend and I share and get full off of 2 onigiri with salmon and the 22 piece sushi, with leftovers too! We will never order sushi from anywhere else but here for as long as we live out here!

Cheap but make sure you bring cash, cant use your credit card under $10. I had to walk to an ATM to get cash for a $9.25 order and they still wouldnt make an exception, how is your poor business decision on merchant processing the customers fault???!!! And the sushi is mediocre.

Refuse to turn on the AC when the outside is over 100F and the inside is even hotter. My baby was crying from the heat and they still took their sweet time. This is an unsafe environment for babies infants and elders.I would highly discourage anyone sensitive to heat to avoid this place at all cost.

Wont take your order if they are 10 min before close. First time Ive ever been denied service at a food place before close. If you dont want to make sushi past 8:50 then adjust your hours, you jerks.

Got a bento box for dinner when i got home i saw the order was messed up. I wanted rolls with the box but got sushi. Funny thing is the sushi option was supposed to come with two pieces of rolls and it didnt. And the miso soup that came with the takeout was in a tiny bowl and it was only half full :(

I was in a hurry today, so I bought six boxes of sushi and ate them in the car in the parking lot in front of the store. After the children ate two boxes, I found that the avocados were not fresh. I went over to tell the boss, and the boss said, I have to tell you. This is not bad, this is normal. Even if I eat avocado at home, I will throw away the black ones. This is obvious to see. Hey, if you cant see it, dont think about it. Maybe its me. The request is too much. It’s really a store I’ve eaten at for a long time and I won’t buy from it again in the future!
