The good thing about this restaurant is that everything was fresh. The fish was cold and was good quality. My biggest complaint is that all of the sauces were sweet and almost dessert-like. It throws off the overall flavor profile of the sushi roll when, for example, I wanted spicy, and it was very sweet and not spicy. Across every roll I ordered, this was the case. Overall, its not very impressive compared to the many sushi places Ive tried in Sacramento.

Been wanting to try this spot since they opened years ago. Finally went. Wife and kid loved it as did I. Its pretty nice inside. Music was late 90s early 2000s hip hop. Staff created us and sat us down right away. Service was extremely quick. We were eating around 5 minutes after we sat down. Sushi is excellent. Tempura is excellent. Wife had plum wine and whatever brand they used was great too. Only down I have is they have a 15% service fee no matter size of party. I dont know if that goes to waiters or not. I added more tip in cash just in case but will clarify next time.

So I thought I had a go to sushi spot in Anaheim, CA, but that was until I walked in to the Sushi Joint! Everything we had tonight was not only delicious but very fresh! Their chicken gyoza was a delicate crisp of delight and the rolls were so full of flavor and very well portioned. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, friendly, and delicious sushi place!!! To top everything off the service was great!!! We got sat down as soon as we walked in and didnt really have to wait long for our food to be ready😁🙌

The last time I went to this establishment I purchased a chicken teriyaki bowl and the chicken was under cooked so I did not finish my meal. I would recommend going elsewhere for sushi. I would recommend Benihana especially the location off the 60fwy. Benihana is a high quality restaurant with a great tradition as well as history. True authentic food and even better sushi than this establishment.

Youre sleeping on this spot if you havent been. Great menu! Great sushi. Plenty of delicious appetizer options to satisfy any craving. The sushi menu is extensive and youll definitely find something to enjoy. There are other non-sushi options that are worth a try. On this visit, we had the garlic edamame which was just right. Absolutely loved the happy crabby, which is a creamcheese stuffed jalapeno. My 10 year old had the beef yakisoba which he enjoyed. I found the beef to be a bit bland, but the noodles were good. The staff was courteous, the location clean and well maintained. They do seem to be a bit understaffed but still kept us well attended.

My one con is how often the server comes to bug you while youre eating. I appreciate them checking in but every 10 minutes is too often. Its somewhat small so if I needed something I could look around I could easily wave someone over

Great ambiance and excellent customer service. Ordered a couple of their specialty rolls and some miso soup and everything was fresh and tasty. Definitely would visit again. Spacious inside and parking on the side.

Great food. Fast service. Everything tastes fresh. 1 problem why are they charging a service fee for dine in.... even if you pay cash. They are charginging you 15% just to eat here... would be hire rating but the surcharge irks me
