Sushi KATSU-YA Northridge in Northridge

My spouse and in- laws go there once a while and I just love it. It is always busy. That shows how good their food and service is. Even though I am not a huge sushi fan. But one of them I could just stuff myself until I explode! Crispy rice with spicy tuna!!! This is out of this world. But I also eat their teriyaki chicken or beef with rice and their delicious cucumber salad. The staff is always kind and friendly. This is seriously one of my most favourite Asian restaurant to go.

Low quality on food, totally different from pandemic. They used the carrot instead of sweet potato and cucumber for tempura, taste was not good as its not fresh. Not worth the money. Black cod was no taste and Id have to ask for the sauce to get more taste.

Its my first time in this particular branch, their sushis are fine,. They have good sake and nice atmosphere. This is a good spot to hang out with friends and family.

I love the sushi here at Katsu-ya Northridge it had a lot of flavor and was delicious. I got the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy albacore. I will definitely be coming back for more and it is close to cafe 86 where I get one of my favorite milkshakes. I 100 % recommend this place if you are the Northridge area.

Real Japanese make sushi or roll for you. Some time not. Anyway fishs were very fresh, rolls were tasty. Service was great. Heavy eater not recommended.

Delicious food, vegan options. we did miso soup, seaweed salad, avocado cucumber roll, veg tempura roll; all were soooooo yummy. great service from Ricardo! patio was just warm enough but glad we had an extra jacket in the car. ordered the hot green tea which kept us warm. reasonable prices for a multi course full service meal. definitely coming back soon!

I bought one California roll and handed the cashier a 20 dollar bill and she gave me a one dollar bill back and when I saw my receipt the roll was 8 dollars. I told the cashier I believe her name was jesus she wouldn’t give me my money back and was being very rude about it. Not friendly customer service at all. Definitely don’t recommend because you can basically get scammed

A very good Japanese Sushi restaurant in Northridge. The sushi is very authentic Japanese style with some Californian way. They also offer hot dishes like Nabeyaki Udon and spicy short rib dish. If you want to have Japanese food in San Fernando Valley, it’s a good one to have.

This is the Northridge location of the famous Los Angeles sushi group. The sushi is creative, tasty and fresh. Id put the food up against the finest sushi restaurants in the country. That said, it can be loud and hectic, but that adds to the experience. Its my go-to spot for sushi.
