Following our weekly Thursday afternoon social get-together at a local winery, six of us stopped in to Sushi Love Boat for dinner. Located in the Ralphs/CVS shopping center at the corner of Butterfield Stage and Temecula Parkway, Sushi Love Boat is in a great location with lots of parking and just minutes from wineries!We were greeted warmly and seated right away - they werent very busy at that point. After ordering drinks and a bunch of sushi rolls to share, we were pleasantly surprised to have our server bring out complimentary hand rolls while we waited. They were delicious and whet our appetite for what was to come! Our server was wonderful and food came out as it was ready. Presentation was beautiful and most importantly, everything was so incredibly fresh and so flavorful! Its hard for me to pick a favorite, but if pushed, it might be the golden tiger roll.So while service and food were excellent, the only thing that could be improved here was the décor which could use some refreshing. As someone who loves color and the psychology of color, I felt there was too much red everywhere - red paint on all the walls, as well as the seats. Theres a reason that many fast food restaurants incorporate red in their décor and branding. Aside from being eye-catching, the color red increases pulse, heart rate and appetite...but it also makes you want to eat quickly and leave which is useful for turning over tables in fast food restaurants (think McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, In-N-Out). Sushi is such a wonderful meal to share with a group of friends and a place with food as great as Sushi Love Boat calls for an atmosphere that says, sit, relax and enjoy!Were so happy to have found such a great sushi place so close to our home, and plan to be back again very soon!

Have to say, this restaurant offers the best combination of delicious sushi (nigiri included generous cuts of salmon) and a family-friendly atmosphere in Temecula. The dishes look as artistic as they are delicious. The lunch boxes are huge, tasty and cover a wide-range of choices. Service was quick even though it was quite busy at the time. Well be returning soon!

I regularly go here with my boyfriend and I treated my family by going here the last last time they came into CA. The service is always really nice and they check on you without interrupting you on your meal. The fish and oysters are so fresh everytime, I wonder where they get them. I really can not wait to come back with my family, they loved it!

I’ve been coming to Sushi Love Boat for years. For the price, it’s the best Bento Box in town($16 Beef).Suchi the owner has an incredible memory and remembers what you want, before you start ordering it. She’s very personable and always greets you with a smile.Daniel has come back thank goodness and he is the epitome of great customer service, something that’s all too rare nowadays. First time trying this place since there open later then my normal spot. Looked online to check out menu and called to order when I went to pick up I noticed they were charging me a lot more then what there online prices show, i mentioned it to them and they did nothing about it. Love this place! Staff is friendly and always happy to see us. This is our favorite sushi place in the valley and we eat there nearly every week. If you want a different type of role full of flavor, try PS role. Also, try the spicy seafood salad which is full of sashimi and may I suggest dressing on the side. My personal favorite is salmon belly sashimi with fresh wasabi.

Simply the best Sushi restaurant experience Ive had in recent memory. Been here once, and plan on returning. Everything from the green tea to the sushi rolls (the Crunchy Roll is phenomenal) were top notch. Loved the sashimi as well. (I actually was a sushi chef many years ago and I love this place.)Service was great too. We came to find that they recently had and ownership change and you can tell the new owner knows how to run the place!If you want a light & friendly atmosphere, great sushi and generous portions, look no further.

Called in an order of $90. Was told it would take 15 to 20 min. I show up at 20 min time and then proceed to wait another 25 min for my order. There were no other people picking up nor sat tables waiting for food. Nobody apologized or offered me a free drink while I wait or added any type of free food to my order. My kids agree we will not be coming back for a long time if ever.

We have been coming here for years. This is our official sushi spot and we will drive past many sushi places just for their rolls. Portions are bigger than other places and always fresh. Their service is always friendly and they have a comfortable setting. Prices are comparable to other sushi places, but as mentioned before, portions are slightly larger. If you are in the area or visiting, I would highly recommend Sushi Love Boat Kaisen, the one on Temecula Pkwy (there are a few sushi love boats in town). It is relaxing, great and we have always had a positive experience. They have a wide variety of food and rolls for all different tastes. The sunset roll is one that we find very unique/tasty with the combo of scallops and eel. They can also accommodate larger parties.

In town for horse event and some of us wanted sushi. Happened in at Sushi love boat and what an absolute treat! Gernerous portions, extremely fresh, great flavor and very nice staff. Average at the best. We had 2 combos and 3 rolls.The combos had ribs which were tender, moist and good. The Cali roll was also good. Everything else not so good. The salad had large, unmanageable pieces of iceberg, very little dressing. The miso not very flavorful. And the veggie tempura really not good. Greasy thick orange colored batter, thick hard potatoes (did not eat) and just not a good feeling in our mouths. So it was a disappointment and $49. Grrr. Would only go back for the ribs.

Best sushi in Temecula. Rolls are fresh, delicious, huge, and cheaper than rolls from most sushi restaurants.EDIT: Hate to say it but I wont be going here anymore. In the past few months the quality has been inconsistent. On a good day you still get awesome sushi. But on a bad day you get sushi that tastes fishy and simply not fresh. It is not worth the gamble for paying $70. The owners are super nice people so it makes me sad.

Came to this place on a Sunday night. We stood at the front for 10 minutes, no one acknowledged us or looked our direction. Party of 7 walls in behind us and gets sat right away. We ended up leaving and going to Hana Sushi down the street. Im so glad we did! If you want good service and to be treated like a human Avoid This Place.

Well, nothing lasts forever... been going there for years and years. So much has changed. Used to be friendlier, food was better and portions were generous. The Chef would even send us complimentary hand rolls since we dined there so very often.Baked mussels for example, used to be actually baked and there were 4. Now you can taste the water in the bottom of the shell where the mussels from a can sit... and theres only 3!Funny, but prices have gone up too. Time to move on.

We went to the Sushi Love Boat for a friends B-day. He had been there 1 time prior to this and said it was very good.This night we ordered the largest Sashimi boat(I think 53 pieces), as well as 2 different baked rolls, hand rolls, soup, 2 other rolls, beer, wine, and of course saki....lots of saki 😃.Everything was excellent. All the sashimi was smooth and very tasty. The baked rolls were great as well.... 1 with actual crab and another with scallops(tender and delectable). I cant say enough positive things about our experience. We had a phenomenal time and we will definitely go back. You should go too.... I hope your experience is as good as ours was.👍🙂

It was wonderful! We ordered the Dani roll, Golden tiger roll, heart attack roll, Jodie roll, and chicken teriyaki. I was expecting average size sushi rolls and was super hungry, that is why I ordered so much! Well, these rolls were huge and tasty. The only down side was the tempura of the heart attack roll was too heavy, but luckily that didn’t take away from the yummy flavors,. The staff were very polite and worked as a team. The chefs were amazing and very polite greeting every customer as they walked in. I am giving this place a 5! I will definitely be eating there again!!!

It was our first visit to this restaurant so when we asked in we didnt know you had to seat yourself. The staff was friendly. The food was tasty. We shared gyoza, calamari, crunchy shrimp roll, and shrimp tempura. At the end of the meal we were pleasantly surprised when we were given a frozen orange for dessert.

I’ve been here on 3 or 4 occasions, each time it takes forever to get my food, especially if I’m getting takeout, I waited 35 minutes for 2 Cali rolls and 1 rainbow roll and some veggie tempura. Then when I get the food, the rolls are falling apart and the tempura is soggy and soft. When I ask them why it takes so long they don’t even apologize or give a reason, they just say “give us a minute or two”. Not to mention it’s overpriced. I’m normally a fan of family owned places but this place always disappoints!

Didnt think temecula would have decent sushi but this place proved me wrong. Our server was great. He gave us house handrolls to start. Salmon sashimi was fresh. We came here on a Friday night. I get it theyre busy but how can a Japanese restaurant run out of rice? Really? Didnt get our food for 45 min.
