A little bit pricey but well worth it. The salmon is always fresh tasting and buttery, both my 2- and 5-year old kids agree. Great choices and food presentation is excellent. When you were able to dine-in, the place is comfortable, if small, but you never felt too close to other patrons. For now we will just order takeout and have a sushi picnic.

Really fresh fish.The Cucumber Salad is where it’s at. Service was kind and helpful, he directed us to finding new rolls and food . Highly recommend coming here to eat . Don’t listen to the negative comments above . This a good place to eat .
I dont get the poor reviews. We have been coming to Monster Sushi for years. The food is great, the fish is always fresh. We have never had a bad experience. We have gotten to know the staff and they us. I wouldnt go any where else. Dont let the lower ratings scare you off - this is the place to go.
Slow service. Fetched my own menu after waiting a little. Took more than 5 minutes for someone to take our order. Next table had to ask twice before someone came Food was okay, on the saltier side.
We order our office lunch here a few times a month. The sushi is always fresh, the tastes are consistently good and the service is with a smile. The Spicy Salmon Crunch Roll, the Rainbow Roll, The Hot Knight Roll, Tsunami, Firecracker, all incredible! Sushi Monster rocks!
Damn, this was some excellent sushi. We Ordered eight different types of roles and I enjoyed each of them. The place was busy but the staff handled the crowd with ease. They were also incredibly friendly and even gave us free Edamame because we had to wait a few extra minutes for our rolls. If you’re in this part of town, this is the place to get sushi!
Came in A group of four overall the experience was good and the food was fresh and the portions were a good size. The location is small and youre very close to your neighbor, we ordered multiple items and shared them all. Unfortunately multiple i ordered were unavailable or sold out which was huge disappointment as I kept finding out after I ordered it. Unsure if Id come back with there being so many other options
Went there anticipating a great Sushi experience, but we sat and waited nearly 10 minutes and no one came to serve, greet, give us water and menu. Mind you the place only has 8 tables!! The two waitresses looked at us, looked away, fiddled with checks, etc. Ive never walked out for no service before. Always a first time. We love Sushi Plus.

Weve been dinning her since it opened many years ago. The service is friendly and the food is so fresh and delicious! The Honolulu Roll is amazing... If youre looking for a more casual place to eat sushi and other Japanese cuisine this is a great spot. Yes, there are others in the area, but they are also a little pricy and offer an atmosphere that isnt as relaxing as Sushi Monster. Thanks Vickie! We love your restaurant!
One of my favorite sushi places
This is easily the best sushi in Monster. The lemon salmon roll is amazing. The garlic edamame is a very healthy serving, and very tasty.The service was friendly and attentive, without being smothering.It is a bit small, and can fill up.
The fish was very fresh and well cut and they had a wide variety of fish and other seafoods. The staff was extremely friendly and took the time to explain any questions we had.The place is a bit tight with limited seating so be prepared to wait when visiting during peak times.
Weve come to this place for about 10 years, the food is decent but the service has gone way down in the last 2-3 years, they dont care. If you have to put your name down on a waiting list, make sure you see where you land on the list because they will skip over you for more favorite or profitable customers (kids = less profitable) who will show up out of the blue and be seated before you...... keep waiting indefinitely. Never going back.
I have ordered some shushing to pick up and then I changed my mind and divided to dine in! The stuff was so rude and careless and I believe lazy! They brought the order in box never offer any drink. I was so surprised! Never will be back!

I had a lunch combination, Teriyaki salmon, California roll, which came with rice, Miso soup and a salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. I especially liked the Tiger roll which I shared with my daughter.

The food was okay. The Nebayaki udon is supposed to have veggies but not this one. The hand roll was tiny.We waited a long time just to have our order taken. If I wasnt really hungry we would have left.Only plus is that they are open on Sundays. Our favorite Sushi place is closed Sundays. Sigh.

Exceptional because the fish was fresh and tasty, nice combination with rice and salad. Cant come near as often as I would like to because it doesnt fit my budget. Closed for a few hours in the afternoon. Busy at night.

2023-04-08 05:59:52Good thing she only ordered a sushi roll, she also wanted teriyaki chicken, the guy suggested the combo, teriyaki chicken and california sushi roll, it was very unpleasant even though the food was not for me, it was for my daughter who is 8 years. . . ...she said this was nothing like what she had eaten so she decided to eat sushi by the time I was going to put it in my mouth it was falling apart in the air and I paid 30 dollars . the sushi does not taste like i have eaten it in other restaurants, i am not an expert in sushi but i have been in other sushi restaurants and it is the first time i have a bad experience with sushi...not even sushi The buffet is so bad like the one they sell in this place. .. obviously I will not return to this place.

2019-09-07 05:10:45The service is fantastic. They are so attentive to your needs and very aware of whats going on. Orders go in quick and come out right when youre ready for it. Beers are cold and glasses always fresh out of the freezer. Sake perfectly warmed. Sushi fresh and for the quality you get youd expect Beverly Hills bills, but theyre so fair. I love this place and its my wifes and my go-to for sushi in the Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena area, hell anywhere in the Valley. When they care so much about your experience that they run to pick up your dropped napkin to make sure you dont use it again and get you a fresh one you know they care. When their eyes are scanning the room to find ways to improve your comfort and experience you know its genuine. Go and enjoy for yourself. We Love Sushi Monster.
