Sushi Namu in National City

Amazing sushi place! I’m a returning customer. They always have the freshest fish and very generous with it. All sushi I tried were melting in my mouth. Usually coming here every two weeks or so and gladly continuing with this tradition!

Food is really good and fresh. Soy sauce is not too salty. Edamame cooked to perfection

$8 for this 😂 what a joke! Never ordering from here again. Sushi was decent. Idk how this place has 5 stars.

I have eaten here about 5x already in the past 2 months. I am so addicted to the tempura mix entree that comes with about 4 shrimp and a mix of green beans, pumpkin, broccoli and onion rings tempura, all coated in a nicely seasoned airy and light batter, just the right sweetness sauce, miso soup and a refreshingly crunchy salad.Yesterday, I decided to go to an old time favorite nearby, ordered the exact equivalent of what I get at Sushi Namu, which takes me here to.make this well deserved 4-star review. I can unequivocally state that Sushi Namus tempura is far superior. Just writing.about it makes me want to go again. I have been eating tempura for about 40 years now and I think I can say that theirs are some of the best Ive eaten this side of the equator.Their tables are very clean each time I go and their servers are soft-spoken and respectful.That other place I went to smelled old and moldy.Good to have something this good in the South Bay and not having to go to Convoy.Typical strip mall parking woes is behind the 4-star rating

When I want sushi, this is the first place I think of, and one of the few places I trust the fish to be top quality and fresh.The Shrimp Lovers Roll is my favorite roll in all of San Diego. Dont be an amateur like I was when I first ordered this - the lemon slices arent just garnish! Eat one with each piece of roll. So delicious and not bitter at all. Do yourself a favor and just order 2 rolls... its that good!Food ordered: Tempura appetizer, Gyoza appetizer, Shrimp Lovers Roll, Spicy Yellow Tail Roll, Spicy California Hand Roll

I order online and there food was fresh and so delicious especially the salad with the dressing!!! I enjoy my lunch so much!!!! I recommend to everyone to eat from here!!!

First time here, my sister recommended their poke bowl so I came. Their choices in poke bowl are 2 reg simple, but simply delicious and fiesta bowl ! The regular poke bowl includes *avocado,*your choice of tuna salmon (or mixed ),*seaweed salad *crab meat, and * your base rice or salad. You also have the choice to make it spicy.If you want any extra toppings given, you can add ofcourse. All of their poke meals come with a miso soup included. Let me tell you that was a really well made delicious miso soup !! I also had the philly roll in their sushi menu the price is very inexpensive the flavor on this particular roll was decent not too flavorful but it was still enjoyable. I had these items to go, and they traveled very well, still nice and fresh they kept their integrity all the way home! Thats always a plus for me. I will definitely be back to try more of their selection because that poke bowl was so deliciously made and fresh ! I have to try the rest.

Awesome location and customer service.We arrived 30 minutes before closing, and they still served us fresh, carefully prepared food!We tried the Spicy Yellowfin roll ($6.45), California Roll ($3-4), and theYou can get your sushi and ramen fix here without the hassle of traveling all the way to the Fish Market in Downtown or Convoy.

I was completely disappointed when I took the first bite of my sushi. The salmon tasted weird. Nothing I ate here met my expectations. Not coming back.
