No people at Monday 11:59am!!!!Teriyaki chicken with tempura bento box was around $18.50 plus tips $21.50. Bento box includes salad, rice, and miso soup. Good deal to me! Would totally come back to try other bento boxes :))))

Great fish. One of the key attraction for me is the fact they can do all the rolls without rice. You can get cucumber or seaweed wrap. I have issue with blood sugar. So I need to be on strict low carb. This is one of the great places that has so many choices!!! The salmon, tuna, and hallibat have been consistently very fresh. Added to the nice rolls makes it my favorite place to go. Unfortunately, some of the waitresses there do not know about the no rice option. So you need to insist a little.

Its been a while since Ive been here, but it was pretty good. I got the dinner bento box with teriyaki chicken, it was good. I went with a friend and she got rolls and liked them. Good service and will probably come back again.

Solid service and environment. Well maintained. I thought other places had better Ramyeon but it was still a 8/10. Cherry blossom roll was pretty good. I typically love spicy tuna rolls but I wasnt as into these ones. Overall great place to take your family out for a nice evening. My little brother liked the miso soup he tried.

Took my date to Sushi Nara last night. Was so embarrassed. My baby orders roll topped w salmon. The roll arrived w what I call a translucent look of orange to it but not much salmon to be found. My food is yet to arrive. Baby laughed and asked why did I pick this place? In addition, my food was very late and did not arrive until baby was done eating. Bottomline, wont be coming to this place again. Food is low quality and VERY overpriced. Do not pay $20 for what I call a translucent rice roll! Lastly, the owner of this place is very rude.

Really not good. I go by this restaurant everyday for 4 years and decided to finally give it a try. Ordered both chicken and beef teriyaki dinner special (comes with salad and miso soup) over the phone and was told 30-40 mins. I arrived at 30 mins for the pickup and food was already waiting. Got home (0.3 miles away), and the food was so cold. I tried the chicken and it was dry and tough. Anyway rather than bring back and complain since we had an evening planned, I decided to reheat in the microwave. But the chicken was beyond repair and heating the beef didn’t help. Luckily we had dessert (not from here) and wine!Called the restaurant today to let them know about our experience as first time customers. After explaining what happened their only reaction was ‘so sorry about that *long awkward silence *’. That told me everything. I wasn’t asking for a refund or free food, I just wanted to let them know, but they didn’t care.

Love the food and service. Not been disappointed!Update: 3 years later and it’s still our favorite Japanese restaurant in the area. Fresh sushi and good portions, tasty rolls - love the Victoria Secret roll. Lunch and dinner specials are good too! Food quality is consistent. Super efficient and friendly staff. Nice environment - bright and airy. We continue to highly recommend this restaurant as one of our top places to dine in Morgan Hill.

Sushi Nara is my favorite sushi place in Morgan Hill. I get the Sushi Nara #3 almost everytime but you cant go wrong here. Their sushi rice for their nigiri is perfectly cooked and seasoned everytime and they serve large portions (by my standards for nigiri). I cant say enough how much I appreciate the quality of their food for its price. The rest of their rolls are what you expect to find at most American sushi restaurants. You can tell their sushi chefs know what they are doing. My ONLY wish is that they would use better miso for the soup but I dont really care either way. The atmosphere is perfect. Its quiet/low key (generally) which I like and it feels welcoming. I especially like one of the waiters named Michael who seems to be there every time I go. He is really attentive and friendly and now we recognize each other so he makes a little conversation whenever I come in and its nice :). Thanks for being such a consistently great place to go for sushi each week!!! 10/10 from me. ❤️

I called to place an order for take out, the person I had on the phone wasnt friendly at all.Overall, the sushis were okay. I never had hard/crunchy avocado before.. It was a first. But I cant say it was bad though.Its definitely not the worst place I went but I still dont know if Ill order there again.

Never had a bad roll here, great service ... higher prices but you get the quality you pay for. Weve never had to wait long for our food nor disappointed with flavor. FYI their specialty rolls do tend to feature the spicy sauce.

The food was great, tasty, reasonably priced. Only reason for 3 stars is due to the fact that we are still living with a deadly pandemic and the restaurant had quite a few eaters sitting inside without masks on. One lady was sitting on her phone with her mask off. On google it says a mask is required for entering, the front despot says it too. I felt awkward walking out without ordering. Sad to see how just because some people who have not been affected by this virus have no disregard for people who have lost loved ones to it. People just flat out have lost their sense of respect for others.

Food are a bit pricey but tasted good. Well seasoned and made to order. Chicken katsu was a bit burned and really dry when we got it but the sushi was good. Im dissapointed with the bathroom set up. Only 1 person can go at a time. A restaurant that can hold a capacity of atleast 50 or more should have atleast a bigger bathroom.

Sushi Nara is the best sushi in Morgan Hill (in my own opinion). Fresh seafood and super friendly staff makes this restraint pretty hard to beat. I reccomend the Eternal Sunshine Roll and Crunch roll!
