Sushi ON - An Authentic Japanese Sushi Bar & Restaurant in Indio

I love sushi, weve had it at many different Japanese restaurants, and Sushi On is now my favorite. The fish was fresh, the flavors were delicious, and the experience was amazing. The people who work there were so friendly and welcoming.Living in the desert there arent a ton of great sushi options, but Sushi On is definitely the best 👍

Resturant offers both dine in and take out options. Resturant itself holds about 70 people so its a fair size given its location. Food is good and offer a wide variety of sushi with other options for those who arent fans of sushi. Depending on staffing is dependent on your speed of service. The staff has always been nice and helpful when dining in. Prices are on the higher side in my opinion but depends on your order

Its my favorite local sushi spot. Always great service and great sushi, very reasonable prices on all the rolls, they have noodles, ramen, salads etc...get the spicy/garlic Edamame its delicious!!

Decent prices for good food. Each of us ordered a bento box with various items and none of us had any complaints. The waitress made a mistake and forgot to put in my husbands order but made no excuses, apologized, and fixed it immediately. In todays world, no one ever seems to take responsibility and always blames others, lies about things, it tries to guide it. Big thumbs up to her honestly! Besides the mistake, her service was outstanding!!!

We love going to this sushi place. Great food, and reasonable price. You feel welcomed as soon as you enter, and service is great!

This place is a joke if know basics of how Japanese food should look and taste like.What you see on the pics is what they called “Ramen” 😂 but its just $2 Walmart cup noodle, Salmon roll was rolled with what sushi chefs call “snails” and looked like cheap home made ones.Visited Indio and it was last opened “Japanese food” in the area. Sad but funny experience.Looks like they still alive only because people can’t tell truth to their selves after wasting their money in places like this.

Outside seating is very small area. The table clothes were not very clean, they were white, not a good color to use for sushi.The food was good, it was fresh. Had the mango tango roll, didnt really like tht one very much. The other ones we had were great. The Philly roll, n spicy tuna. Service was okay. The server recommended a roll which was really good I think it was called something boat, dont remember. Prices were very reasonable. They open earlier thn most sushi restaurants. I wld go back.

I love the menu variety and the sushi quality and rolls, but the service is getting slower and slower every time we visit. Had to wait over 50 min for the chef to make all of our rolls. We only ordered three rolls. Consistantly asking the waiter where our food was, he kept blaming it on the sushi chef. In the mean time, we are seeing rolls served to other tables that were sat well after us. And the table next to us received our same roll 20 min before us but sat down 30 min after us.The owners are nice people, but they need to manage the chefs and kitchen better.

The first time I ate here, wasnt impressed and poor service.What a turnaround! Service was great and we were taken care of! Highly recommend the fresh halibut sushi and the Lover Roll (yellowtail)... Delish! And have some Tempura Udon or a cup Miso Soup beforehand!Small, quaint restaurant. Nice selection of sushi options.

Nice place for sushi and Japanese food. Waitstaff attentive and courteous. Rolls were good and filling.
