For nearly three years, Ive been a loyal patron of this establishment, and it continues to be an exceptional dining destination for both friends and family. The impeccable cleanliness and prompt welcome at the entrance set the tone for a fantastic experience. I particularly relish the buy 3 rolls, get 1 free or buy 5 get 2 deal, which always brings joy to my taste buds. The rolls, especially those featuring salmon, are my personal favorites. Additionally, their delivery service showcases a remarkable level of professionalism with carefully wrapped sushi that I even enjoyed on the beach. This place consistently delivers a wonderful dining and culinary adventure.

This is my favorite all you can eat spot around. The beer and sake for a dollar with AYCE is a great deal. The fish tastes good and each roll was prepared well. The John was really good and so was the cherry bomb (equivalent to crispy rice). We got a salmon carpaccio on the house which seems like a nice gesture, but also felt a bit strange because both of us were doing all you can eat. I’ve only been here for all you can eat and I don’t think I would come for anything else. One final note, the crab filling in some of the rolls tasted a bit off but I am not sure why.

Oh man, this all-you-can-eat sushi spot is the bomb! It used to be an El Torito, but now its all about the sushi goodness. The place is pretty big, so you know they mean business!When I walked in, a nice lady greeted me, and I found myself tucked away in a corner because they had the AC cranked up. Not the best spot, but hey, the sushi made up for it big time!The sushi, nigiri, and rolls were on point for a buffet. And let me tell you, these bad boys are HUGE! Double the size of regular sushi, I kid you not. But hey, no complaints here, they get the job done and then some.The staff were super attentive and quick with their service. No empty plates for long around here, thats for sure!If youre into all-you-can-eat sushi feasts and dont mind the chilly AC, this spot is the place to be. I left with a happy belly and a smile on my face. Sushi lovers, this ones a winner!

OMG. The best sushi Ive had since being in the USA for 8 years. Flavourful, lots of fish, not a lot of mayo or sauces, just enough.Very fast serving. They served 6 special rolls and appetizers for all you can eat for 2 people in 15 minutes, and i mean we had the first roll after about 3 minutes sitting at the table. Plus, $1 Sapporo beer.Very friendly staff, very quick service, yummy food. I wish I had taken more pictures

The Montclair one is the goat, great appetizers, great sushi, great service. Avoid the rancho location, it fell off hard! So glad this one is a great spot, its worth the little longer drive for that great sushi, blue ocean is the best sushi roll anywhere. 🥰

One of my favorite sushi spots they never disappoint. We had the AYCE menu and everything came our fresh, tasty and on point. The service was quick. Our waitress was friendly and the owners are awesome. Highly recommend this place.

First time here. The staff was nice but the service was pretty slow. We had to remind the waiter 3 times that they had forgotten to give us a roll and in the end, we ended up canceling the order. Before we left we ordered an order of mochis, this too took forever to get, so we asked to have it packed in a to-go bag.The food was good. I especially liked the salmon skin roll. It was DELICIOUS!

The sushi rolls were great! I had the One Spot roll and the Volcano roll. What I didnt like was theres two different menus with different prices. When I sat at my table there was a menu that showed the One Spot roll for $16.99 but I was charged $18.99! When I asked about it they said I was looking at the all you can eat menu and then they brought out a different menu that had higher prices. Kinda weird, but good tasting sushi rolls.

We were celebrating a birthday & they went out of their way to play happy birthday song over the speakers & sang happy birthday with other guests chiming in too. Ive tried several top notch Sushi restaurants through out the Inland Empire, and one spot is 100% my go to for sushi. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The sushi is amazing with large cuts of fish and definitely created with care to detail and presentation. Try the One Spot roll, just fantastic.

This place is wild. Hands down the best nigiri I’ve ever had. I could not stop myself from having a piece before taking pictures.It’s a bit unassuming from the outside, but on the inside is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve seen. This is a big deal for me, because I don’t eat at dirty sushi restaurants. If a restaurant is dirty in the front, I assume where the fish is prepared is likely to be dirty as well.But this place is literally spotless (without feeling uninviting). Nice ambience, great servers, and the owner was kind enough to chit chat with me.Overall, one of the best sushi places I’ve been to. Great date spot.Also, the nigiri is giant; 95% fish, 5% rice, so be prepared.

There are only a few AYCE sushi places. This one stands out in that the portions are plentiful and the sushi has just that little rice needed so that the taste of the fish is felt. Of course, the cost has gone up considerably, but it helps that if you order AYCE, then a small beer/sake is only $1. The fish tastes and smells fresh. All other dishes are as good.

Finally ! We have been searching for a long time to find the original owner of Asahi, and Sushi One Spot! So happy to have his new location finally open! I have followed Howard restaurants since Riverside days, from Van Buren to Rancho.. always high quality sashimi!Finally feel more safe in ordering food, I haven’t ordered any sashimi or rolls since last year. Keep note that the place is only by order for now, until the pandemic situation clears up! So there currently is no AYCE. They do look like they have apple and android pay, for ease of payment, and they do all wear mask. It feels safe to order. I think I even saw a box of facemasks, possibly for people that may have forgotten theirs.I phoned in a togo order, and the gentleman that was on the phone made sure to help me get my order down. Not only was he patient, (w my daughters allergy questions) but also was very knowledgeable of what was in each special roll.FoodI ended up getting the special that they currently have, the 3 special rolls, get one free. The most thoughtful thing, was that because I asked about the whole egg allergy thing, they put the eel sauce and spicy Mayo on the side, instead of putting it directly on the roll. I could be wrong and it is just something they do for togo, but at least that is what I would like to believe.Angry Eel- it was great that they were able to take out the usual imitation crab meat (the Mayo contains egg) and replace it with just the imitation crab stick.Asashi Roll- the classic! Always so good with its fresh salmon and tuna!Volcano - great for those who don’t prefer to eat any raw fish, baked salmon goodnessNagoya - better yet, if you don’t want too cooked or raw salmon, this one was seared salmon !It was also so interesting to know that they have a beyond meat roll. Good to also have that in mind, have no idea how this will taste.This place was huge! I believe it used to be a Acapulco. Like his other locations, of course there is a long sushi bar and TVs in the establishment.The best thing is that me and my family does not need to drive 30 min to the rancho location like we used to, this is so much closer! I went during the week. It was nit busy at all yet service was horrible. They took super long to take our orders, always seemed in a rush to leave when we finally had their attention and seemed bothered when we asked questions about the rolls. It was also too dark for my liking. It was our first time there and it was never explained that it was all you can eat not like a regular sushi bar where you order individual rolls.

We went there for the all you can eat and I liked the experience first time.Then I was so nervous every othertime I went there for sushi. They constantly checked whether we give our AYCE food to my son that did not order AYCE. They made us SO unpleasant. I dunno if they are doing it on purpose to ashame us. I need to check on my husband the whole time I was eating to see if he is ordering too much. They threaten to charge us for two pieces of sushi we left behind last time. I was so uncomfortable to be there. I quit. Just leave me alone.

My friend and I had the AYCE here a few weeks ago, and we were really happy with the choice. The price was reasonable, they didn’t have stupid 3-round or limit per round rules like some other AYCE sushi places, and we found the sushi to be pretty good as well. They also had $1 happy hour beer which was awesome. Service was attentive and really nice and the cherry on top?—I left my wallet on a Friday and didn’t realize the whole weekend. Called and they had it for me and was able to get it the following business day. Clearly very honest people during some dishonest times.

It has all you can eat for $40 and $20 for children. We ordered 2 all you can eat. And a childs plate for 10$...Not that excited about it. Meso soup great. Average on the fish..always pretty presentation, Hawaiian style with flower.As we sat there the waitress kept bringing us dishes we never ordered. Theres a $20 or more fee for the food you do not finish. Thats what I was charged, for plates I didnt even order. I told them, not mine! She said she thought we might like it. Then got charged for it as ours because it was left at our table by waitresses... Not our order. Its pretty messed up!Never again!

Awesome place that had great sushi for AYCE! I dont normally do AYCE because I dont eat that much at a time. They had a great special on beer for $1 with AYCE. The service was spot on too. Will be back if Im in the area again and need some sushi in a pinch. Is it the best sushi Ive had? No but is it decent sushi at a great price with excellent service? YES! Definitely will be a repeat customer especially with others who love to eat!Decent 8.5/10 for AYCE sushi!

The one in Rancho Cucamonga is better I feel like you get more for your money. Sushi pieces were extra large huge chunks. A little too big for one bite. Over all it was good but I still prefer the rancho one. Ayce was 40 a person. They didn’t have the ocean blue which is one of my favorite rolls.

Dont be fooled by the atmosphere! Not the best experience... maybe worse ever! For the price of 39.95 AYCE, you would think it includes the basic condiments of ginger and wasabi: for your sushi. It does not! When you request for missing condiments, they brought these packaged version that didnt even tear off without passing thru 5 different hands in our party to attempt to get package to v open! When inquired for fresh one, we were informed of an added fee per serving... I would not have have complained of they increase the AYCE price to include the fresh condiments as standard. BUT because we had to hassle to get the missing items, fight with the package to open them...... it kills the joy and the dinner experience. We ended up ordering the fresh version, and when it arrived, it was chopped pieces of horse radish roots, not the grated paste version that mixed into your sauce.AND the other thing, your sushi should be BITE SIZED, so you can nicely placed in your mouth as a whole piece.... no, its so big, U HAVE TO BITE OFF each bite like savage or use a steak knife to carve your piece! E... so not elegant! :(

Dropping $39.99 on AYCE sushi doesnt inspire confidence... but One Spot makes it WORTH IT!Fish quality is outstanding! The salmon is rich, but not too oily. Tuna and albacore are dense and flavorful. And you cannot get better unagi!Then, if great tasting food isnt enough, the fish portions are significant. Never have I been blessed with such a bounty of fish upon rice!Each and every employee was attentive and kind. The manager was so darn friendly. I just want to buy him a drink and chat. I never thought you could have too big of fish portions on nigiri, but I was wrong.Maybe this is your type of sushi, but when I have a slice of fish that is 5 inches long with about an inch of rice it is not good. I know it sounds weird to complain about too much fish but the ratio was totally off. Sushi should be able to go into your mouth one bite, but this was like eating a slab of fish.The quality of the fish was good, but my husband said every piece had a garlic taste to him...maybe that is how they preserve or store the fish?The service was great and I feel awful about giving such nice people 2 stars, but the ratio was seriously awful. I only tried one roll—the basic California roll and the inside mix was too mushy. Maybe the other rolls are better and that is what people come here for?Regardless, I will not be returning and youve been warned about the nigiri.

If we could give zero stars, we would. My husband, and our friend were going to get the all you can eat sushi. I have dietary restrictions, so I’m unable to eat all you can eat sushi. They have other dishes besides just all you can eat. The hostess said that the entire table has do the all you can eat. My husband explained to her that I can’t do the all you can eat due to dietary restrictions. The hostess responded that she didn’t care. This is discrimination as I have a medical condition. They are supposed to make reasonable accommodations for a disabled person. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, and there’s no wonder. We went to a different restaurant, where we know we will be treated well.

Sushi one spot in the Montclair plaza is the best sushi you could ask for. Granted its not AYCE, but the set that they give you is certainly acceptable. Highly recommended for those who love top quality sushi and sashimi Japanese food....I went there two days in a row and the quality of food and service was consistent. In particular, the C menu got a perfect score of 100 from the appetizer, main dish, and dessert, and it is also the best value for money Japanese restaurant.
