Quant sushi spot with excellent service. The waiters are super punctual & the service is fast. The place seems a bit small, but its definitely worth checking out! Their tempura veggies are the best!

Stopped by for a quick lunch while passing through this town. The staff was very friendly and immediately sat us outside per our request. The service was quick and perfect. For our lunch, we ordered the Garlic Salmon Roll and the Galaxy Roll along with some Garlic Eddamme for the table. The food was fantastic. The rolls were large, larger than many places weve visited. The quality of the fish and the craftsmanship of the rolls were top-notch. The rolls being larger were still tightly wrapped and more than capable of staying firmly together when being picky with chopsticks. While the sushi was great, the Garlic Eddamme was perfection. So many places recently just dust some garlic powder on some steamed Eddamme and call it a dish. This is far from the case here. The Eddamme is cooked to perfection, offering that soft yet firm texture, popping easily out of its casing. They were seasoned with a hint of spice and heat, likely red pepper, along with real garlic. My guess would be a fried garlic, and the whole batch is coated in a buttery soy like sauce that was just phenomenal. Im not going to lie. After we finished off the Eddamme, we used the remaining pool of sauce in the bowl to dip our leftover sushi rolls..... If we ever come back this way, well be back here for sure.

Alright, happy hour mid day on a weekend?! Uh-yess please. Always good fish quality and they keep the hot sake flowing like how Aspen keeps the beer flowing like wine, ja-feel? I give it a 5 star for quality-price- and the ambience. Fun, busy, but not too loud.

Great food and quick service. Sat down at dinner time at the bar and had my food within 5 minutes. Chef was pleasant and the servers were very attentive. I travel for work this was one of my favorite places. Chirashi bowl was fantastic.

We showed up with a large party of ten people without reservations worried about whether or not we would even be able to sit together. The staff went above and beyond and almost immediately sat our large group. The food was great and as I said before the service is exceptional. The menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. I have nothing but great things to say about sushi planet and would recommend to anyone.

Last call is 30 minutes before closing. I went in for baked green mussels and a sashimi salad. They told me they couldnt plate it but would serve me my food in a styrofoam box. I made sure I could eat the mussels when I was served because the only way to eat them is IMMEDIATELY.The mussels were good. Meatier than usual. (I order green mussels from every sushi place I try. ). Meatier = good. Not oversauced. Again, good.Sashimi salad was also good. Plenty of seafood on it. The part that really stood out was the octopus(?) that was on the salad. First of all, its the first time Ive had it on any sashimi salad. Second, it was very flavorful. Very fresh. I said, yum aloud (unintentionally) with every bite I had. It was very good. The rest of the salad/sashimi was great. Very small pieces so you get a good mix of different fish and and salad with each bite. It really is a salad. Other sashimi salads I try differ, in the sense that you have to decide whether your next bite is either salad greens or its one fish at a time but this was very mixed. If youre hungry, it doesnt matter what gets swallowed, or in what order.- Ultimately, even though the food I ordered was at the end of the day, it was still very fresh and tasty.- The staff accommodated me and what I wanted.- The price was about $40. $25 for the salad and $10 for the mussels. Plus a super small tip. [[(but only because I wasnt being waited on and didnt require much service, (which is totally fine). Just throw that in a box and Ill be on my way.... no beverages, no dishes. Just an end-of-the-night sale. $5 was adequate for this particular situation otherwise I would have tipped more.]]

My bf and I were looking for a sushi place in Thousand Oaks and I ended up just choosing this place, I didn’t read the reviews or anything. We are all about customer service and this place definitely has it, WOW! The food was amazing and fresh, great prices, good environment, the employees came to check on us many times. Let me tell you, highly recommended. When leaving the place, all the employees said goodbye to us, it was just a nice feeling. Will be driving out again to eat here and recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you Planet Sushi!
