2023-09-26 15:45:01I had a wonderful dining experience at Sushi Q! The food was mostly excellent, especially the sushi rolls which were delicious. However, there were a couple of rolls where the cuts werent perfect, causing them to come apart slightly at the bottom. The drinks were a highlight - they were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The service was outstanding, with our server recommending sake to my girlfriend, who had never tried it before. Now shes a fan and eager to explore more sake options. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, even though the restaurant is on the smaller side and can get quite busy. It was packed when we visited, but thats a testament to its popularity.Im definitely looking forward to returning to Sushi Q to explore more items on their menu. Overall, its a great spot for sushi and a memorable dining experience! 4 out of 5 stars.

2023-10-15 03:31:29A friend told me of this place 2 yrs ago and Ive been putting it off until tonight. So very glad i stopped in and gave it a try, everything was great, friendly and helpful. My usual way to try a new Sushi place is to order Sake (Salmon nigiri) and that tells me whether or not its a good or bad sushi place, but tonight I wanted to try their signature roll (Sushi Q roll) except I ordered mine without the sriracha sauce as Im a big wimp when it comes to spicy food. The roll was incredible with lots of bangin flavors, it just hit the spot, the 2nd roll (Elk Grove roll) was huge but lacked taste and they say its their most popular roll. Im not a roll guy I just need to try some rolls to bring the girlfriend out of her comfort zone of Wasabis (Adel role) thats made perfect for her. I believe Sushi Q has a new roll for her, stay tuned. My fav is Chirashi and the chef claims theirs is the best so I have to go back and try it.

2023-06-13 02:16:11A small location in the middle of a shopping center without door seating. Overall the sushi was of good quality when the soup that I ordered was nice hot and tasty. I had no complaints for this restaurant. However I would have enjoyed talking with the waiter a little bit more but he was so busy running around all over the place.

2023-10-06 23:53:51We have been going to Sushi Q for years now! It was a happy accident when we stumbled across this unassuming spot in a strip mall. The atmosphere is great, the quality of the fresh fish is phenomenal, the service is good, and the vibe is cool. If you love oysters, theirs are some of the best! My favorite dishes include the Tuna Blossom app, Chirashi plate, Uncle J roll, and Salmon Skin Hand Roll. My kids go crazy for the Teriyaki Chicken— and even I think it is delicious, and I don’t love the sweetness of teriyaki. My husband enjoys the Baby Calamari— it is always perfectly fried and has a great spice to it. The restaurant is pretty small, so expect a wait if you go during peak times. But, they also seem to do a heck of a Take Out business. We’ve gotten food to go there before— and it is always still great when we get it all the way home to Galt. Overall, this is my favorite sushi spot in Sacramento… we will always be back!

2023-07-04 11:13:21Not the best sushi, but it will do for now. The wait time for both of my orders were 30 minutes long. FYI they charge a take out fee of $1.

2022-03-23 15:04:21This is small location thats making some outstandingly good food. Theres outdoor seating for those nice spring and autumn evenings, the interior has a modest 9 or 10 tables.I came on a Tuesday evening and was seated quickly. The menu was on a QR code (hard copy menus available upon request), they have a variety of items and combinations to fit all budgets. There rolls were tight and correctly proportioned making every bit a tasty one. The Chicken was thin and cut into bit sized pieces, with a glaze that made you want to take it home. The servers take your order, bring your food, make sure your beverage is full, and thats about it; they stay out the way and let you enjoy the experience that is the food. The wife and I will be back to enjoy some more of the menu. If you enjoy good food in a cozy setting, this sushi location will fulfill all of your desires!

2023-08-13 23:43:24I often ordered sesame chicken from Sushi Q but lately, the amount had been decreasing. They give very little compare to before. They also don’t tell you that they are charging for extra sauce.

2022-08-21 20:38:54We were hungry after our bike ride so we ate some of it before taking pics. 😄 We have been looking for a good sushi place in the Sacramento area since weve moved up here from the bay area years ago. Sushi Q definitely hit the spot for us. Rolls are good but the same as most decent sushi restaurants. I wouldnt get the salmon skin hand rolls again. The Tuna Blossom was really good with jalapeños giving it a slight kick (not spicy). The sashimi is great size (not like Mikunis...what a joke), fresh, and delicious 😋. The condiments on the sashimi bowl was a nice surprise. Finally found a go to place for sushi instead of waiting to go to the bay.

2022-11-21 01:53:13Probably the best sushi I’ve had in my life. Definitely coming back to try more rolls.Tonight we had the Elk Grove roll and the Aviana roll. The bbq tuna is incredible! I would order just that honestly. We also had the deep fried cheesecake for desert and loved it.
