You can find great quality sushi at this little spot in East Lake Shopping Center. They also have a solid selection of vegetarian options. I hade the Sushi Qu light combo which comes with a roll, 5 nigiri, soup, and salad. Really good!

The food was really good but i was about to leave because it was almost an hour since i ordered and we were the only ones there at the begenning the wait time for food is just horrible. The service is alright not the best. The only reason they get 3 stars is for the sushi i got ot was really good

Place was clean. Ordered. Shrimp tempura. All batter. No shrimp. Teriyaki chicken was ok. Better off going to miyuki. Down the street.

The lunch/dinner combo plate is expensive, and they have a dumb rule that you cannot have sashimi and nigiri together. Isnt sushi the reason one goes to a sushi restaurant? Just down the street is Miyuki. Much better.

The service is awesome very friendly staff. The food is very delicious I have never had a problem. I highly recommend the chicken katsu its my favorite. My youngest brother works at sushi Qs. I personally know all the employees. Theyre very outgoing and friendly people to be around.

The rolls are 90% rice, ridiculously big and there was nothing special about them. They sat us next to the dishwasher and there was dish soap in the air. To top it off the bathroom is outside so I couldnt just send my kid to the bathroom. The only good thing about this place was the staff. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Not going back and dont recommend it.

We always order sushi from here and they seem to always forget utensils. Today we came to pick up another order and yet again they forgot. We orderered out to eat at the park and yet again they forgot utensils. Thanks, Karina, but no, I would not like to drive all the way back to get utensils. Thank you. Well eat with our hands instead. Maybe next time well remember to bring our own utensils.

We have been going to SQ since it opened. Good combination of traditional, and (mostly) more modern/fusion takes on sushi. Good quality, well-prepared and the options will encourage you to get out of your traditionalist box.Theyve recently moved to a different space in the same shopping center (East Lake Village) and I hope theyre going to put some energy into decoration. Quality of the food is the same, but the ambiance was frankly sterile and cafeteria-like. Feels more like a to-go place now. Hope that changes.

First time here. Food really good. We got the chicken teriyaki and tempera. For $1 more get the combo tempera. My wife got that and in addition to to veggies, that I got, she got 2 large shrimp and a piece of crab. Small and cozy inside, with a steady flow of customers coming in.

Best in town hands down. I have ate sushi in other restaurants they dont come close to this place. I have been eating at this place going on two years now. Yummy and fresh love it. Chef makes your food infront of you unlike other place that are remade.♥️♥️♥️

Situated in a quiet corner of the East Lake Plaza in Watsonville, this is the perfect place for a relaxed lunch, or a casual dinner.The menu is simple to read, it includes pictures of their specialty rolls and a few short lists of sushi mainstays, it covers the basics for seasoned sushi eaters or first-timers alike. My only desire would be for a greater selection of beers.On slow nights, there will only be one server, one kitchen staff, and the sushi chef. Weekends its usually +1 server and +1 kitchen staff. However, if the workload is heavy, be prepared to wait at least 5-10 minutes for a-la-carte orders, and 15-20 minutes for the rest of your order. The staff will gladly refill your drinks while you wait.Although other sushi places in town have a wider variety of seafood on the menu, Sushi Qu is my go-to for consistency on the freshness and taste of their seafood. It has always been delicate tasting, with no off-smells, and no funny aftertaste to wash down with beer.For their consistency in; quality of ingredients, service staff friendliness, and relaxed ambiance; Sushi Qu takes my pick for Top Sushi Joint in Town.

Ive seen this restaurant in passing a few times decided to stop for lunch. WoW Im so happy we did. Im pretty sure this probably is the best sushi I have had. We were absolutely blown away. We have been there 2 time this week. I love finding diamonds Im the ruff. Never would have thought.

Awesome food here. Its a comfortable space, small and cozy. I like the tempura and they always accommodate my request to hold the onions....ugh....I also like the udon soup with the tempura woohoo. Sushi choices are abundant.

I remember this was a good sushi place, when they first open. Now it’s horrible:( The fish does not taste fresh at all, there is a funny smell inside the restaurant. Not to mention how rude the cook is.

Was very good at beginning but food not as fresh any more plus sushi chief not using good health practice. Not washing after sneezing and just continued making sushi. Have not gone back. Was told by a friend same thing happened to them.
