This was a place my Wife and I have been waiting for to open. They finally did and today was a day that my Wife and I decided we will be back here very often.The pictures of our food and drinks do this place no justice. The food is astoundingly good. Great taste, flavor and quality. The service was phenomenal. Everyone was super friendly, very attentive to our needs and always made sure we had everything we needed at all times. The atmosphere of this place was to amazing as well. Great looking place with nice music thats not loud in any way. I dont feel like I have to yell to have a conversation. Its inviting and extremely welcoming. I couldnt give a more amazing review. If anyone reads this review, just go. Go to this place and enjoy all the qualities this place has to offer. You will not regret it.Keep up the amazing job everyone!!!!!

Today I had the chance to visit them.Ingrid our server was soooooooo nice .Place is great. Good background music. Food on point. Loved all of the appetizers in the menu! Favorite the cheese & the 🍌 skewers. Shishtio peppers OMG!!Love that they also have Coca Zero.. not a lot of places has them. 🙈❤️.They have lots of drinks and house made Sangria.Parking was easy too.🍣

Excited that the new sushi place is living up to the reviews!Started with crispy rice with spicy tuna and each roll is full of flavor!Surprised by a manchego roll on the menu.My son was delighted by his pork belly ramen.Generous portions and awesome vibe inside.We’ll be back, for sure.

It is such a relaxing place to sit down and eat. I recommend the almond roll, toasty, and flavourful. I know the place just open, but hopefully, in the future, they have a variety of drinks to choose from :)

Ruben was the best waiter weve had in long time. He did his job well and gave us really good recommendations. This delicious Mexican take on sushi was really enjoyable. The modern feel and ambiance was pretty cool.

We visited Sushi Roll tonight to give it a try, and it was an absolute hit. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. The place was very clean, and the interior decoration was impressive.

Food was good but Ill be honest the prices did dilute the options to try more and give a thorough review. With that being said, what I ordered was the pork belly ramen for $16 and a sushi roll that was $18 (bunny roll) and a lagunitas IPA with TIP ($5) came out to $52...So all in all its good spot to go to just make sure youre wallet is prepared! great staff good food just a little bit on the expensive side, it will be up to the people if they think personally its worth it! Give them a try!

Avocados were so hard and green on the rolls I could knock someone out with them.Choose 3 different types of sushi rolls. Trash. Even the salmon had a piece of bone we took out of it. The place looks nice tho and the staff was lovely and quick. But the rolls were trash. Go for the drinks not the food.

Nice place, food not so much. Roll portions are thin and small with cardboard flavor. Twenty dollars per roll, I was expecting a normal size roll. The salmon was extra thin. I will not be back.

First of all the service ….. Liz, Ruben and Diana are amazing. Always treating my family and I like ROYALTY ! In a scale from one to ten…. They exceeded that scale and beyond. The ambient of this place was amazing. The service is very good everybody receives you with a smile and is very attentive. You feel like you’re eating at a luxurious restaurant. Waiters, waitresses, and hostesses were very helpful and polite, mostly waiter Christian G.. His service was one of the best I have received in years. The food was very good and fresh. The sunset roll was delightful. Every bite was better than the last. The spicy garlic edamame were delicious, some of the best I’ve had, we even licked the plate lol. Their infamous churro fried ice cream one of the best desserts I’ve tasted. It was worth the wait for their grand opening. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of their delicious meals.

Pros:• Cleanliness• Attentive service• Selection of platesCons:• Unflavorful dishes• Over flavored dishes• Hovering owner/managerI tried this place since it was recommended to me and was quite disappointed. I understand that this is a fusion restaurant, but the majority of the dishes left me dissatisfied. The chicken in a rice plate my brother ordered was actually the only thing that scored my pallet. The Nigiri of the unagi left me discontent. It is one of my favorites especially from Japan. Except this one was drenched in eel sauce and barely grilled. The ikura was another that was a let down. The so-called gyozas didnt even resemble it. It seemed more like a chinese-american fried wonton. The magic tofu was not one bit crunchy and was drenched in its own sauce that it fell apart. the sauce itself was not that good either. The ebi tempura was another let down with it being soggy than crispy which tastes like it was microwaved. The majority of the westernized sushi mainly had cream cheese and didnt really appeal to me. I tired the bunny roll and the ika dragon roll both were unsavory. The ika tasted like I was eating US macaroni salad and the bunny was terrible. The salmon and the tuna in the bunny was unflavorful yet with the sauces that were dribbled on made it taste awful. I did happen to notice the owner or manager hovering around every so often and made the atmosphere unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I would not be coming back here for Japanese food

We went to sushi roll today after my daughters graduation 🧑‍🎓 and let me tell you I totally recommend this place, everything was delicious, everything, the pork belly ramen is a top seller and totally recommend it, the sushi rolls were on point, we where a a party of 11 and everyone love what they ordered, the edamame are fire 🔥 the chilitos are bomb also, the house sangria delicious,, the poke ball delicious, the tuna tartar on point and I can go on and on etc,, for dessert they have a mochi ice cream wich is delicious and also a churro dessert wich I love .. I want to give a shout out to all the staff in sushi roll for the great customer service they have and it looks to me they have great team, they did an excellent job, 5 ⭐️ to everyone,, I totally recommend sushi roll, I know there’s is a lot of sushi places in Chula Vista but this one is different, it has a twist, a Mexican twist,, sushi roll is huge in Mexico and súper popular, no wonder that Mexican twist and the location is very nice, super clean and everything looks brand new, you can tell they put love and experience to everything in this location, very organized and everything on point,, I totally recommend sushi roll to everyone, please come try it, you won’t regret it,

The WORST experience in service, the sushi 7/10, I promised myself I would NEVER return even though I live in the back apartment. I think I will be the only real reference because it is obvious that the others are not real.
