Daniel served me and my father for dinner. Kind and respectful. Food was great . My dads roll was huge and not as pictured. He has no control of one arm and it made it difficult to eat the giant roll. We might try a hand roll next time. Overall great experience and will be back!

We just found our new favorite sushi spot in Upland, and its been here for years. We are only sorry we didnt find it sooner!!! The sushi was AMAZING with HUGE pieces of delicious, fresh 🐟 Their Tiger Roll is my new favorite roll 😋 🤤 And we had THE BEST service! Everyone was so kind, attentive, and friendly. This little place is a secret find for fusion sushi. They offer well -prepared eclectic rolls, large glasses of draft Asahi and pretty good prices if you order at least three rolls! Its my first stop when I come back home to visit!

This Japanese restaurant is excellent. They have a fantastic range of Japanese fusion food which is really delicious. The sushi rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the seafood was very fresh. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. I live in Australia but if I lived here this would most definitely be my regular Japanese restaurant. Highly recommended!!

Came here on a really nice Wednesday evening and boy was it fun. We got a few rolls (tiger roll, caterpillar roll, and ya-ya roll). This place definitely hits the spot. Side note: their restrooms are really clean so that’s a bonus. This place is a little pricey but I have to say it’s so worth it. 10/10

Drove by this place after my haircut at a local barber. Saw it had more than a few stars, and more importantly, it wasnt busy...Walked into a library, so quiet was the atmosphere that my voice boomed and echoed throughout the main dining area. I startled the three other guests in there and sheepishly asked for a table for one. The very nice waitress pointed to a small corner table, and I walked over with all eyes on me. Ordered the crunchy dragon and some other crunchy something and some other crunchy tiger thing. Good. Food came to me quickly and showed me the chef had spent some time studying the craft. All was good, not outstanding, but good. They do not serve hard liquor like bourbon or whiskey, but they do have Saki. Asahi and the usual Japanese beers. I encourage you to stop by and have some sushi here. Ill definitely come back.

It was our first time visiting this place, my daughter and I agree that we wont be back. Food is good, they need to work on treating new customers with gratitude for even walking into their restaurant. I would give No Stars if that was an option! The sushi rolls here are all very good and fresh. We have be coming here for years, since they opened. The complaint we have is this time of year it gets very cold in the evening. We went there last Friday, for dinner it was around 8pm and the temperature was 44 degrees outside. They were busy and they dont have an in door waiting area. You have to wait outside. They do have heaters but they werent on, When I asked if they could turn them on, we were told that they didnt work. Either they need to repair or replace them. For the customers waiting are freezing when sitting on their patio. They need to care about their customers .Who wants to eat cold sushi when you are freezing. We waited 40 minutes and then left.

I have been here several times now. I have yet to have a roll I didnt like. Of course certain rolls are better than others, but they are all good. The service can be slow at times, especially when it gets busy. The best thing about this place is their half off deal. When you order 4 or more rolls they give you half off all the rolls your order. So your bill quickly goes from $60+ to only $30.

I normally like this place very good scalloped rolls and such. Today we waited 25 min to put in my order I was ready to leave. Our family eats here more than any other restaurant. The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. Ordering 3 rolls or more to get 50% isnt even a question! They have lots of cooked and raw options, so we were even able to come when I was pregnant. My husband loves the baked scallop roll and my favorite is the shiro roll. Sometimes they seem a little short-staffed and it can take some time, but the staff is so nice and the food is so good that its worth it!

Great service, but with phenomenal sushi! The quality of the fish is easily better than the other dozen places we have tried in the area. We all shared 5 different rolls, and each one was absolutely incredible. Even better is the prices are initially higher (would still be worth the price due to the quality and freshness of their fish), but they will take off 50% of the main items (sushi, and rolls) if you order 3 or more items. This means for a date, you each get a roll, and then split a sushi order, and get 50% off the sushi (and rolls). It does not include drinks or appetizers though, which is still fine. We definitely have a new go-to sushi spot now!

The sushi itself were simple but really tasty. The waiters were nice and overall it was a good experience. However, there was something that bugged me. I asked for a lemonade and they said they ran out, which is fine so I got another drink, BUT the weird thing was when I looked over to the kitchen area there was a pitcher. And inside that pitcher was water and lemons! I just thought it was funny that they didnt have lemonade but all the ingredients to make it. Anyway come eat here its good.

Ive been giving this place a lot of business these last few months regardless of them having a B rating. I literally take out twice to three times a week. They constantly mess up my order and forget to give me certain things, but I never make a big deal. Today I went in with my son however and they seated us and after 15 min and then serving and taking other peoples orders before ours who came in after Us we got up and left. There are so many sushi places in upland to give business to a place that doesnt value its regulars.

My wife and I had dinner at Sushi Shiro and found the food and price a great value.Although the place is a good size, they are seating people at a distance and you need a mask to enter.Upon arrival, there was a sign that said they close at 7:30 pm, while their website says 10 pm. This is likely a temporary issue from the pandemic.Sushi Shiro specializes in sushi rolls, and well, I dont care for seaweed. Interestingly I do enjoy sashimi.I opted for the dinner box. It started with a soup course and then meal. I went with teriyaki beef, sashimi, and tempura shrimp. The box also included a salad.While everything was very good, a few things stood out. The ginger dressing on the salad was excellent, as was the dipping sauce.For $21, I walked away full and satisfied.Good stuff and I will be back soon.

Bottom line, great quality fresh fish. Highly recommend the albacore and yellowtail, delicious! They have a great selection of cut sushi rolls that you wont find elsewhere, and good service to back it up. If youre not a huge fish fan, they have an alternate menu that is pretty diverse as well. If you like something on the spicy side, try the Ya-Ya roll! Also, the quail egg shooter is just a delight. Yum! Instead of all you can eat, they offer 50% off when you order three or more items. It works out to be about the same as their competition. Definitely give Sushi Shiro a try, its the freshest sushi around!

Great place when youre craving sushi. Usually, sushi and affordable dont belong in the same sentence, especially when your talking about good, fresh sushi. Sushi Shiro is the exception. Its not fancy, but they do offer great sushi with good service. This is one of our go to places anytime were in SoCal visiting the kids and grandkids.Most of our visits are around $100 if not less, and thats for 4 adults, 1 teenager and 2 kids. If you order 3 rolls or more, they are all half price. With that kind of pricing and their wide selection, it gives us the opportunity to try new things. The Crazy Boy, the Gold Dragon and the Hawaiian are some of our favs.
