I will never try this place again. They’re the type of establishment who will take advantage that you won’t be dining in to complain about the quality of the foodI ordered the spider roll and the wonton paper paradise rollFirst of all none of the pictures I saw demonstrated there would be raw salmon on top. Second the tempura shrimp that goes inside their roll was all tempura and maybe a crumb of shrimpThey over fried the soft shell crab on my other rollSimply gross, I had to get a refund on the whole order and take my money elsewhere.Also the rolls were not cut so I the two pieces I did eat I had to struggle to separate them, then after I worked hard to separate them my balls of rice (because the fillings were minuscule) fell apart before I could get them in my mouth.
Really good all you can eat for a fair price. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Very much recommend. Perfect to go eat with a group of friends

I never write reviews but that was the worst sushi Ive ever had. They clearly cut corners with everything! Way too much rice and imitation crab in the rolls and barely any fish and way too much rice with the sushi too.... and barely any fish. The place is a total rip off!!! The only redeeming quality of the place was the waiter was good.
Been a loyal customer for over 10 years but sadly comes to an end after yesterdays experience. Ordered appetizers and they were soggy and stale. One of the appetizers came out without sauce. Server said sauce was being made. We finished that appetizer 20 minutes later then sauce comes out. Ordered another appetizer for the sauce but never came. Fry cook in back obviously doesn’t know what temperature to fry things in or anything else basic with that job.Got a cucumber roll. You can tell rice was not freshly made and seaweed wrap soggy as all hell. Got a roll with albacore tuna. I questioned the freshness of tuna to waiter. He assured me it was fresh. It was gray and dry. Wife ate it anyways and got sick later that night. I didn’t eat any thank god. I told an employee my concerns and they said Sundays aren’t good to come. I responded what kind of restaurant claims to have good food except for Sundays?I’m done with this place. I walked out and gave sushi chefs a thumbs down on the way out. Obviously they don’t know what they’re doing and they serve recycled, stale sushi. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!After writing this I’m notifying health department.
Dont get the ramen. $12.96 for Shin Ramen!! Theres literally nothing else in it. Even when I make ramen, I add some additional protein in it; eg eggs, sausage, etc.
The. All you can eat was great. You have to try the shrimp boat. Soo good. We order some of those on every round of our all you can eat.
If I could give zero stars I would. Arrived here when they about half full or less and was seated promptly. We then waited around 10-15 to order which is fine. My family ordered sushi and I ordered ramen. I had asked the waitress what was in it beforehand. Sushi arrived and I waited over an hour to receive my ramen while my family ate and after finally asking her she said the chef was working on it. Anticipating it was difficult to make I understood the wait time. An entire hour arrived it was plain instant noodles packet with a halved egg w none of the toppings she had mentioned. I waited over an hour for grocery store ramen noodles. To top it off the cups were dirty and not once were we asked for refills or napkins. Definitely disappointed this time around.
I go here at least once every time I come to California. Always an awsome experience. Shawn and Peter are masters of the craft. Everything is always fresh made as its ordered. Flavor and presentation is great. Its located at the end of a small strip mall, doesnt look like much from the outside but if you are a fan of excellent quality sushi you have to try this place
I’ve been here twice, now for lunch and dinner and I must say that this place is really good. It’s all you can eat and they have a variety of options to choose from. The flavors are amazing and the fish taste absolutely fresh also, the ratio of rice to sushi is on point and never changes as you order more rounds like other place do.

It used to be my favorite sushi spot before. I went last week. Service was poor, food quality was poor and then I came across their last inpection report as of 4/13/2023 and I felt even worst. Comments as not properly draining the cups and finding water in cups already place in the clean cup area. Black mold like growth on the back deflector board inside the ice machine. It is unacceptable and disgusting.
POOR QUALITY, WON’T COME BACK!First, I’d like to mention that there is a note posted asking customers for yelp reviews in exchange for a free dessert. I hope everyone who posts a good review is genuine and truly had a great experience not just doing so in order to get something free.It saddens me to see the decline in quality of this place. I remember years ago when the food was so great that I didn’t mind waiting for a table and I even put up with their bad service because of it. We just visited and as it stands today, it is clear that they are cutting corners, they are no longer making the rolls as they are described on the menu, and even worse, their explanation is to simply “come back another day when the other chef is there”.Hello??? How about training ALL chefs to keep the same standards?! Doesn’t seem that hard. We paid $67 for 2 super small bland rolls and 2 beers and left still hungry. We couldn’t bare to order anything else. I won’t be surprised to see more of these reviews as we heard the staff apologize to at least 3 other tables. Needless to say, we will not go back to this place again.After leaving here, we found Sumo Sushi on Mountain. We ended up getting 4 regular sized rolls (when you order 3 rolls, they give you the 4th for free) plus a bottle of Sake, ALL FOR $65. We couldn’t finish it all so we ended up with lunch for the next day! Hey, at least our night ended well!
Honestly one of the most excellent sushi places I have ever been to so far. The V.I.P Salmon Roll is one of my personal favorites as well as the Angies Roll. Everyday Im dying to go there and get another taste of their heavenly sushi. I would live right next door if I could.
Beware the 5 ⭐️ reviews are because they give you “a free drink or ice cream” if you review them in Yelp. They have trashy signs at every table telling you that. If I could give them zero stars I would, food is mediocre at best but the staff is horrible, high servers that have no clue whats going on Gabriel our server was rude and inattentive. We got here at 8:50 and by 9:12 he came and said if the chef feels like it you can get a second round when we asked to see the manager, he went up to the other server and said they are asking to see the person who sat them and I corrected him and said no we asked to speak to whos in charge and he said that theyre all pretty much the same there and theres no manager on duty and he was laughing as we were asking. Here you get rice with a side of fish and the rice tasted really gross. Worst sushi in the IE save your money and go anywhere but here. If a manager sees this I still want to speak to you.I called the next morning to speak to the manager, and the head chef would not let me speak to the manager. He was equally as disrespectful and rude. This restaurant needs to be shut down.

***Updated July 2023***. Disappointed, this used to be our favorite sushi restaurant, but they have become so stingy and cheap, its sad and weve given them two chances. Love Ikura (Salmon Roe) and they only put on a handful - you could see the sushi rice it was so sparse! On one visit, the didnt even bring it and said, we didnt think you would still be hungry so we didnt make it. Their rolls are now more rice than other ingredients and they have been very light on their delicious sauces. Sad to see what theyve become. Sam is no longer there.Found my favorite roll ever, anywhere, here - Caseys Strawberry Shortcake! Salmon, cream cheese, strawberries - simply amazing, crazy how those flavors work, smoothest roll Ive ever had. Say hi to Sam, hes awesome, too!
My new favorite all you can eat sushi place. My favorite is the Cilantro roll, delicious and spicy.
Service was a little slow and they dont have the all-you-can-eat option, presently, but sashimi was fresh and appetizing.

This is our go to Sushi place. Its the best in the area, in our opinion. The only thing I dont like is how loud they play the music. The place is kept clean, including the restrooms. This place is a def must try.

One of the waitresses was so rude to a customer who was one of the most so nice even after she yelled at him about having to pay for what him and his wife didn’t finish from the all you can eat. He was nice and willing to pay for it but wanted it to go and she started yelling at him. Very unprofessional and rude, this guys like I’ll pay no problem and she’s like you have to wait look how many people are here. Service is slow but food is good. I’m not coming back for what And how I saw this waitress act. The guy kept saying no problem I’ll pay for it and the lady kept getting louder. Don’t come here, it happened 6.11.22 around 545 for the owner if you want to check your video. Right in front of the sushi bar.
The sushi here was pretty good but they were yelling at me and my table saying that we were eating too muthey were eating too much with all you can eat till. They didnt even give us the full order. We finished.. Ill just make a video review.
I use to love this place, it was my favorite go to sushi spot no matter how far it was. Maybe the owner sold it not sure but I get inflation went up but really!!! AYCE use to be $22 now it’s $40 how dumb is that?? You doubled your price! Maybe $30 but $40 ? How many rolls does the average person eat? Maybe 2 and to top it off gratitude is charged for a party of 4? Where have you ever seen that? No wonder the place is now empty. Trying to get rich quick.

This place has gone down hill.Sushi pieces were very small and lots of rice. Prices have doubled. Did not taste fresh and was not even cold but warm.Wouldnt recommend. There are far better sushi places.Very disappointed.
The special rolls were larger than at most other sushi places, so we were able to share & try each others dishes. The staff was friendly & extremely attentive. My boys enjoyed the traditional greetings by the sushi chefs!
My husband and I have been patrons of this restaurant for five years; however, after our experience last night we will never return. Upon arriving at 4:30pm we waited 15 min to be greeted, despite the dining room only having 5 full tables. Once our food arrived there were three noticable issues. The first being the Avocado Bomb, the kitchen staff dropped the whole unpeeled avocado into the fryer and served it to us. Then as rolls arrived they were dropped on the table, without naming as the service staff was unable to to identify what they served. Then roll presentation quality did not match the previous visits, including the poor construction of rolls and a missing ingredient in the Strawberry Lemonade roll. When we asked to speak with the manager to let her know about the Avocado Bomb and Strawberry Lemonade roll, she became agitated, shrill, and accused me of being unable to read. Her very loud argument was that every chef makes rolls differently. I told her that as she is the manager I expect her to be professional, and she continued to ask if I could read. This became so uncomfortable that we walked out, and another patron left when we did. They had been seated next to us for 20min without service.Go to Luxe Buffet instead!
The food here (sushi I don’t eat the regular menu) is always great. But the service is hit or miss. Woman tonight brought us the wrong salad, wrong entree dish for my dad, and forgot out large sake we never got it. The last 2 times we had these you get servers who were very nice and polite. If you see the red head older woman run my guy. Your order getting butchered.
I live in Upland for while here love sushi came here when the 1st open was great and than it was all down hill after that. Now is new owner ship I believe. it was good again now its the worst the menu pictures dont much what you get . You order food dont get everything you order but the have know problem trying to charge you for it. If you dont pay attention.I will make the longer drive and go to one stop sushi. Its worth the drive.

Their menu is huge! They also have photos of the rolls on the menu, which one may forget just how helpful those can be! Also, they currently have a deal where you can buy 3 rolls, and get 1 free (definitely dont know how long this deal will last). I enjoyed the service here, my server was very friendly, I plan on going back for sure.
We went in for dinner at 6:12pm, all you can eat. Party of 2. We left at 7:45pm. Only thing at our tables was 2 drinks, the free ginger and 2 miso soups. Its Monday, there were 2 other tables seated after us, but they got their food before us. Tired of waiting I asked for the check. As they they brought the check we finally got an order of edemame. Service has been declining over the years, but this was enough. Never coming back again. Completely disappointed.
Best Sushi ever. Our waitress was very fun. This place was non stop busy. The Birthday surprise was the best. They turned down the lights, pumped up the music we thought they were starting Karaoke or something but they brought out a huge platter of ice cream with candles on it and sung happy birthday. This is my new favorite spot.
The eel was not good. All the sushi smelled old and tasted disgusting, even the sake tasted weird. Almost like it was store bought. It was overpriced! Even the chopsticks were ugly and my boyfriend got a dirty glass for his beer. The only thing that was good was the ginger, but their soy sauce was tasteless and watered down. Never again will we come back.

We love their sushi but, the service has taken a turn for the worse. The last 2 times we have been here, we have done all you can eat. We order one time and they never come back. They dont refill the drinks. We ask for the manager. We explained what was going on and not one time did she apologize. All she cared about was getting the checks to us to get the payment. As much as we love their food we will not come here again.
You should sit at the bar, the sushi chef was amazing... she was so amazing towards my son and I, she had us try a few new things even a sweet strawberry shortcake roll, and gave us a special sauce.... We ended with green tea ice cream and had an awesome time. Definitely worth a trip from the desert. Definitely would recommend, the fish was fresh and delicious.

My family and I, eat here three times a year, as a group of 14 and a couple of my brothers and I, eat here an additional two times a year. The sushi special rolls selection is the largest that Ive ever seen and they are extremely delicious! The service is always satisfactory!
We love the food at this restaurant and would drive quite far to get there. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because they are such a mess. I’m not exaggerating when I say that EVERY time we go there, there’s an issue. The service is horrible. We have not received things, gotten the wrong thing, and waited FOREVER for things. Last night we attended to order online and placed an order through Postmates. We had attempted to call as we couldn’t find something we usually order online but we’re unable to get through. We got notified shortly after that our order had been cancelled. Attempted to call again and still couldn’t get through. We were about to drive 40 minutes and spend $150 on food (much more expensive during covid due to no all you can eat) but decided to turn back and not risk it. I’m hoping this message gets to a manager for this place to get it together. We love your menu but you are losing loyal customers because of how bad the service is. Please work on it!
If I could do zero stars, I would. This restaurant’s “policies” are crazy, they tried to add a tip to the bill without our consent when it’s a table of 5 claiming it’s “restaurant policy” when it was never mentioned to us, or posted around the location, or on the menu. They were very rude about it too, never going there again.
My brother recommended this place to eat sushi. The prices were pricy and the quality of food was not great. We ordered a pitcher of beer and I felt it was watered down. We also requested cold sake and the waitress insisted on hot sake in which they pour from a dispenser. Finally after my third time saying no I want the sake that it is in an unopened bottle. She gave me a look of disappointment. She probably wanted to pour water into our drink to dilute it. In my opinion I would not come back to eat at this spot. Quality of service and food was not good at all in my opinion.
Pretty good sushi. We did out AYCE in one round. Thankfully they brought the orders roll by rolls. The order was too big so we stopped it just in time when we were full. Their baked rolls stood out the most.

Just left this place. We waited 45 minutes to get California rolls and spicy tuna rolls. We watched the people next to us, who ordered after us, receive sushi galore, not once, but twice. By this second time, I walked up to the waitress and told her we were leaving because we were still waiting to be served a simple meal. I do not recommend this place. Service is terrible and music is way too loud.
Feels like Chinese buffet sushi now but now the AYCE is 40 dollars. they kept trying to charge me for drinks but i only had water. The service is also extremely slow. This place went down the toilet so fast.
Im surprised at the comments about the service.. I hadnt read these before going and even remarked out loud that the service was very efficient - and they were all friendly too! The food is amazing (i dare say the best sushi Ive had, all the classics but plenty of unique twists) and the atmosphere was nice (cozy,busy not too loud). I love the price too, cant beat $22 for all you can eat dinner! Ill be going back often.
Still doing dining in even though not allowed, but it is San Bernardino county. The food is pretty consistently good I always order the same 3 rolls. Spicy rainbow, cilantro roll and upland roll. Sometimes they play the music really loud even when there are only a couple of customers.
1. Prices are NOT at all decent. Maybe for all you can eat, but for the quality and roll quality its overpriced.2. Came here on a Tuesday around 430p, and the kitchen was definitely going UP...... because their music was twice as loud as the restaurant (which was already too loud to hear myself order)3. Wait staff took about 10 minutes to ask us for our order.4. Shrimp tempura roll ahd no flavor, caterpillar roll was decent, avocado was really soft and mushy and fell apart. Albacore and salmon were decent.In conclusion. Im never coming here again. Enjoy your falling apart rolls!
Great combo of rolls!!! The Cherry Blossom was 🙌🏻🔥🔥🔥🙌🏻 Went with the all you can eat special, so we cleaned house and tried a good size variety, none of the dishes disappointed!!! 👌🏻 The place was packed; another good sign the food is good here. Would definitely recommend.
This place was PHENOMENAL pre-covid.However, I came with my family for a birthday, and the quality of service has plummeted since I last came before covid. We reserved for 6pm, put in our order at about 6:05-6:10, and so we waited. And we waited, and we waited. My dad and brother were getting impatient, I was telling them its okay, lets wait. 50 minutes goes by, and we stop the waitress to let them know weve been waiting for almost an hour at this point. She immediately apologizes, and we get our sushi within the minutes. Instantly, our sushi comes pouring in, which leads me to believe that they completely forgot about us. Oh well. The food here is amazing, it was before covid, and it still is. The service is lackluster. I would suggest waiting maybe until dining regulations are back to normal to visit here, because right now they dont have their act together.
Great sushi BUT terrible service. I used Grubhub to place the order and when I arrived there at 6:25pm I didnt get my food until 7:10pm. When I first arrived I showed them my Grubhub email for the order and then they ignored me for the next 30 minutes. I got their attention again and only then did they double check with the cooks. After another 15 minutes I was given the order. Three other to-go orders were picked up while I waited and a couple sitting at a table commented on how long Id been there. Im very disappointed and have no plans to return.
Went there for the first time a week ago. The food was absolutely delicious!😋 it’s not a huge place but the sushi is top notch. I will definitely be going back with others so they can experience the great taste of their sushi. Looks like I found a new sushi spot!! The plum wine was tasty too!
Get ready for a big surprise from this shopping plaza gem. Super tasty sushi and an all you can eat menu. My daughters boyfriend highly recommended this place but my wife and I were not sure about a strip mall restaurant. He was absolutely right!!! 💯 We are so happy with the service and the food...I should have taken more photos but the sushi rolls were coming so fast it was impossible.
The sushi guys are Horrible, poor servers get blamed for everything. Ive been coming here for years and only came back because the sushi is good, but you better be prepared to wait....FOREVER! I kept hoping it would get better, but its only gotten worse, especially since Jose left. I finally met the owner and now truly understand why this place is eventually going down. How can he call himself a business owner!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Were never going back!

Kind-of tucked away but I love the service they provide for birthdays! Not only will they sing you happy birthday but they put on lights and try to get everyone to dance! The sashimi they serve is so fresh, particularly the salmon. I will definitely be back for more family birthdays.
The service at times is inconsistent, you can get a roll on a busy night in 5 mins or get your roll on a slow day in 15min. Really depends on who is working :) but the food is never inconsistent! food is delicious and Eian ( I think that is how you spell it ) the owner is fantastic as making his customer feel like they are apart of the family. The more times you visit this place the better it gets!

Always fresh fish, huge variety of items, creative plates, great sushi chefs, friendly staff, fun atmosphere.We love sitting at the sushi bar, watching our food being made, talking to the sushi chefs, and eating great food with sake or Japanese beers. Its a great value for great food.I have taken friends there and they all have been impressed and surprised.
This place used to be the best in the area. Update: been a few years since coming down. Sushi is definitely better. However, i did get served incorrect orders twice. No biggie though
1:30 on a Tuesday this pace was excellent! Best miso soup around Nd excellent sushi. My only complaint was the tea, itd been sitting too long and tasted burnt. Other than that impeccable service and a wonderful place to have lunch!
Definitely not the best quality fish, discolored, slimy and not fresh. Price is comparable to many ayce but not worth it. Ayce paper has no description or pictures (menu has descriptions but not many pictures) so youll most likely order something disgusting and try your hardest to get it down. Do not get any strawberry sushi rolls, I definitely knew better than to order it but I was curious then instantly regretted my decision. I will not be returning here.
Happy hour is great. $25 all you can eat, and beers are $1 - $2 if youre doing all you can eat. They have some amazing rolls, and many of them come with a small amount of rice if you want to get more bang for your buck. I ate until I could barely walk.
Best Sushi ever! Will travel far to come to this one place!! Owner Angie down to heart and knows what people want. All you can eat sushi make a selection from the list blindfolded and you will love the roll. Have recommended this place to lots of friends, family and coworkers.
It was ok, but there are better sushi spots nearby. I didnt like that they didnt come by and ask if I needed a refill on my drink. I had to ask them, and it was towards the end of my meal.
This is my favorite place to go and sushi. Definitely a local hotspot for date nights. They offer and all you can eat sushi so if you guys are a crowd and go for sushi your whole table can get continuous roles they also offer some teriyaki chicken and spring rolls and egg rolls etc included in the all-you-can-eat. Its definitely worth it I believe it is about $25 a person but its unlimited sushi all their specialty rolls are included in the all-you-can-eat and again its the best sushi that Ive ever had. Prepare for a weight if youre going on a weekend but its worth the wait
Ok, so let me start by saying I really like the food here. They have a large all you can selection, although some of the choices are a little odd, but the food is really good. The restaurant does not smell like fish and the fish is fresh and has no fishy taste to it. The service at the tables is slow, very slow sometimes. My suggestion is keep your party small and sit at the sushi bar, the sushi chefs are a lot of fun to talk to and they are always friendly and fast. You will get your food A LOT quicker sitting at the bar. Another highlight is $1.00 Hite beers and $1.00 saki bombs Monday thru Thursday all day. Also be aware that it isnt a huge restaurant so if they are busy, you could be waiting awhile. This place is tucked behind Del Taco so if you love sushi I would definitely give this place a shot, just remember, keep your party to 2,3 or 4 max and sit at the sushi bar. Your experience will be a lot better.
Been going to sushi takumi for years and the sushi never disappoints. The menu has a variety of creative rolls. My personal favorites are the tropical delight and oh honey roll. The cherry blossom is also delicious. The sushi is also good, particularly the VIP salmon and tuna. The service is sometimes a little slow during busy times, and Ive unfortunately had to leave on weekend nights when there is over a hour wait. During lunch and early dinner it is always open though. Sitting at the bar is highly advisable, the sushi chefs are great and attentive and when they arent swamped you can chat them up and they can offer suggestions based on your tastes. I wouldnt recommend the sashimi taco/salad, too much sauce and not enough fish.
Went to Takumi today not knowing what to expect since they dont do the all you can eat now. Now they have a buy 3 rolls get the 4th one free which isnt bad but the rolls average from 10 dollars to 15 dollars so they do add up. What i did like is that they give you larger portions than the all you can eat to make the price worth it. The sushi isnt bad at all taste fresh. I highly suggest the orange blossom that was my favorite.
The best sushi restaurant I have found in years eating at different sushi bars.The large creative menu choices, the freshness of the fish, the cleanliness of the place, the good service, the food presentation, the custom requests from the sushi chefs if you sit at the bar, the friendliness of the staff makes the entire dining experience A+.They serve a variety of beers, sake, other soft drinks along with cooked items from the kitchen. The atmosphere is fun n decorated well. They celebrate bday or anniversary announcements with loud music n lights n get staff n everyone involved in making the person feel special.Try this place and you wont be disappointed, in fact you will be pleased you tried it. Plan to wait more than half hour for a seat if you get there in the middle of the dinner rush specially on Friday n Saturday nights. Sushi takumi is our go to sushi spot. The service is spotty depending on which you get. Thier new employees are very nice. The food is great. The volume on the stereo can be too loud at times. But if you know all this coming in.....the food is worth it.
Delicious! I love to get the cherry blossoms, tuna wrapped around d some spicy crab, topped with a sliver of avocado and a scallop the size of a pearl. Its amazing. One order brings 2 of these gems and they are small but a few could fill you up. I come here for those. And the other sushi is good too. Wharves I think of a good sushi place. This is what comes to mind.
I was over charged on my check when they closed out my bill. My bill was originally 58.23 when I singed the bill, then a few days later I saw my statement and it was 70.23$. Two all you can eat and two waters with a cash tip is not 70$. I went int to talk to the manager and he wasnt even there. I was told to leave my number and the manager would call me.This is not the way to run a restaurant without some kind of supervisor in the building. When I was called back it wasn’t even the manager that called me, the person told me someone added a tip onto my bill even thou I wrote cash. This place will no longer have my business the sushi isnt worth it after this happened.
The food is phenomenal. The sushi tastes great. However make sure you check your bill. They tried to charge my friends and I for dinner when we were there for lunch. And the fought with us until they realized that they were at fault.

This used to be one of our preferred sushi places to eat at. It’s been progressively going down in service. Today I was in with my wife, daughter and grandson, and it was again, a disappointment. Service was slow, the Arnold Palmer drink I always have was very weak in taste, (very watered down/no flavor of tea or lemonade), and then we asked for one more roll which never came.
Awesome sushi. Best sushi restaurant i have been to. Friendly staff. Owner regularly walks around and greets customers and help around the restaurant. Chefs make great rolls. There are pages of specialty rolls to choose from, and many unique rolls i have never seen anywhere else. Highly recommend this place.
Three stars because the food was awesome, but the service is SERIOUSLY lacking. This may be due to the covid staffing issues many places are facing, but the restaurant was never busy the entire time we were there, and we had to wave someone down every single time we needed anything.

They make good sushi. I come here often. It is always busy but it is worth the wait. My only suggestion would be to come here either in the earlier hours of the day or be prepared to wait. Overall really good food and the service is decent.
This was our favorite sushi spot for many years (about 10), until we ate there last night and all 3 of us got food poisoning. Fish didnt seem right & we should have left. Also the service was horrible. Eat at your own risk. We will no longer be going here.

I am a quadriplegic with a large wheelchair and a service dog, they wee AMAZINGLY helpful! They moved tables and chairs for my dog and I to fit and they helped me water my dog on a 90 degree day! THE SUSHI was phenomenal! The presentation and freshness of the fish definitely ranked them in my top 5 best sushi restaurants. If your in San Bernardino county this is a must eat to satisfy the sushi craving, A+ everybody! I am super excited I live 4 min away in my wheelchair!
If you live in the upland Montclair area and thinking of eating here...dont. worst service Ive ever had. 40 min for one roll, 25min for soda and water. They continued to drop wrong orders at tables. The servers couldnt even tell you what the rolls were. Oh and I almost slipped on what I hope was chocolate on the floor. I put one start cause I couldnt go lower.

The service is terrible. The first time we came here, it took a while for them to take our order. The food is great so we did mind. Attempted to go back and stood at the podium for several minutes. They werent busy so we were completely baffled when no one greeted us and waitress kept walking by with saying a damn thing. At least acknowledge us and say just one moment or something. We walked out. Terrible customer service.
Food WAS AMAZING about 3 years ago. As I walked towards the restroom, I passed by the kitchen. What I saw made me gag! A trash pile on the floor (swept together) FILLED with cigarette butts!!!!! We havent been back, yet. But we do have yummy memories of their tasty sushi.

I love the sushi highly recommend the orange blossom, but DO NOT order their stupid ramen! Its just an instant noodle that you buy from any grocery stores for 59 cents. Its so stupid that I had to pay $8.50 for it.
This place really doesnt know how to do business! My 90yo grandma didnt bring her wallet/ID so they wouldnt let us order any sake because the server didnt want us says we might share it her. Shes 90 years FFS! The server was also very impolite about it.
Tango and Fiesta roll paired with Sapporo and nice wait staff makes this place one of my favorites in Upland.Im looking forward to their all you can eat to return
For those who have avocado allergies, please dont come here most sushi places will have avocado in some of their dishes, this one is in basically all of them. To add onto that their teriyaki chicken when served was semi raw, which if you want chicken sushi thats perfect but most people dont. The customer service was overwhelming and different servers kept taking the menus away before I could even order. Just a lack luster place with limited options, and bad food practices.
If I could take away stars I would. Not only did they lie to us on a Tuesday about being able to take a reservations on a Thursday (they dont do reservations) the service was appalling. I had to ask 3 times for a manager and they sent some poor fool who had no power to try and pacify us. Someone in our party heard him saying to the other servers Why do I have to be the manager today??? after he laughed as I told him our grievances. The AYCE food was good but we didnt get half of what we ordered even after complaining. Jose was a jerk who had the nerve to come back over to us and tell us that he didnt like the way that someone in our party came at him while we were complaining.
We love this place, this is my bfs and I usual Sushi spot. We introduced our friends to it and they loved it as well. The all you can sushi is always a favorite. The staff is always so nice and the food is delicious.
Service was ok. Food was expensive. Portion size is small. Overpriced for what you get. They make you tip 18% for ok service.
Out of the several times I’ve been here, yesterday was the worst service ever. Took almost 30 min to seat 5 people but a group of 4 came in and they were seated in 10 min. The host was very rude and he thought it was funny that we were still waiting. Once seated we’d get one roll every 15 min. Never coming here again .
Ive been wanting to try this place for a while and I final went today, the service was so incredibly disappointing that we ended up walking out. We got there at about 700 not too busy you can clearly see empty tables but werent acknowledged for at least 10 minutes. We are told we need to wait for a table to be cleaned. we finally get seated 5 minutes later at a table that was empty and clean since we walked in. Once seated we are ignored for another 10 minutes. They finally take our drink order....we ask for 2 waters with lemon how hard can it be right? But no leave it to them to forget the lemon. We waited for about 7 minutes for the waiter to return to take our order before we gave up and walked out at 742.

Tonight was one of those nights that I wanted to try some sushi. I usually go to Sushi Shiro whichs pretty decent with their 50% off on Sushi menu with generous sushi cut portions.Going to Sushi Takumi this evening was definitely a mistake. I felt like I was hurried to sit down without asking if I wanted to dine in or take-out. The menu was confusing. I wanted to do a sushi dinner but the chef cut the fish for the sushi so thin that I can barely taste the meat! For $16, I get two thin pieces of sushi, spice tuna roll and cali roll, ridiculous! I eventually switched over to all you can eat! the portions are about the same, except I get more pieces...I understand they dont customers to waste food; at the same time, I felt like they are being stingy and lack business sense! You only get return customers only if you serve generously! I didnt like the rushed service either! leaving the restaurant, I felt like the whole thing was a scam!
Very rude! Disrespectful! Stopped by mid-day and made a reservation for that night. When we showed up, they didnt honor our reservation. Told us that they dont take reservations. No honor from a Japanese restaurant, thats ironic and sad.
Sushi here is amazing, even during the pandemic!!! We have ordered to go in the past but today had lunch at their outdoor seating. Service was a little slow but well worth the wait :)
Well lit, simple reservation system, appropriate wait times, and they call you when theyre ready. Doesnt get much easier than that. One thing to note however, due to COVID restrictions, they _do_not_currently_provide_an_all_you_can_eat_ option.
Usually a 5 star experience when i come here with the family . But this time service was horrible we got the unlimited sushi and we kept putting in our orders and they kept giving attitude and they where taking forever to bring us our orders kindal of made me and family feel like they wanted us out after just a couple of orders of sushi. takes the unlimited out of context
The food is mediocre. The rolls look nothing like how they are in the picture. Way over priced for basic food. The tofu fried appetizer wasn’t even seasoned or marinated and super watery.
The service is for the most part fast and friendly. But lets be real. This is about the all you can eat sushi. And the variety that is offered is is top notch. Not only is the sushi all you can eat, but pretty much the entire menu, from teriyaki chicken to fried eel, I havent seen anything that isnt a part of the all you can eat applicable.
The food was delicious, and they did let us in at 9:30 and but we felt rushed and unwelcome the entire time and the waitress came and checked on us once for our order and did bring extra chopsticks when we asked but she initially gave us the wrong check. Tipped the chefs for preparing our food late, it really was good

Atmosphere was great, sushi was subpar. The rice was quick to fall from the roll. It was also strangely sweet on some of them. Decent prices, would recommend to a friend
We go here every single birthday for everyone in our family. My 7yr old daughter loves this place too. Food tastes great and service is fast most of the time.
While the food was quite good, the service was terrible! Took a really long time for anyone to even take our order. None of our meal was brought at the same time and we had to keep asking for items that hadnt brought. To top it all off my husband found hair in his rice and management didnt do anything. We will not be going back.
Not the best quality sushi, and the price of all you can eat is a bit high for the caliber of sushi offered. This place is much more about quantity over quality. Its not bad, just not that great if youre looking for Good Sushi.

Most bombest suchi I have ever had. This was my first time wating it so the people were very helpful and help my husband and I choose our sushi! I recommend it very much especially the green tea ice cream 🍦 🍨 😋 👌 🍣
The food is amazing. Thats what keeps us going back!! Its not too big inside and when it gets busy the service slows down. There is almost always a line but thats because the food is soooo good. It can get kinda hot inside as well. But if you can get through all that I promise the food is totally worth it. I am not one for cramped spaces. But I totally deal with it here.

Id normally rate a ho-hum Korean sushi joint a standard 3 stars. But I ordered ramen and they brought me Top Ramen instant noodles in a bowl with a plastic spoon and had the nerve to charge me $8.50 for it. Yikes.

Terrible! I was ignored while I waited to be seated, nobody greeted me, or even acknowledged that I was waiting. The employee then stood behind the counter for a few minutes then got window cleaner and walked passed me and cleaned the door. I will never come back to this place and I will tell everyone I know, not to give this place any business.

Had the Spicy Ramen and Pork Katsu Curry. Everything but the Katsu itself was -- for lack of a better word -- lazy. Not worth even close to the 30 we spent.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now. We tried other sushi restaurants but this sushi restaurant is the Best sushi in town. Staff is very friendly. Sitting at the bar is our favorite eatting area.

No one is allowed in too far past the main entrance, they take your order wearing mask and gloves. Delicious sushi is prepared and brought to you, very nice and safe service.

By no means the best sushi ive ever tasted, but great value is offered in the all you can eat. I suggest grabbing yellowtail and salmon sushi (best on the menu). Tuna is really dull and will dissappoint if you prefer that meat.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a little over 6 years now and hands down best all you can eat sushi I have been to in the greater inland empire area the menu is extensive with delicious rolls that you see at youre standard sushi restaurants but if you look at your table or if youre at the bar theres a book bound and laminated that has the Holy Grail of all sushi rolls theres literally 7 Pages front and back of different types of sushi rolls that you can order and they are all available on your all you can eat menu definitely worth every dime that you pay to go there their servers are friendly could be a little bit more attentive at times however their service is not bad and with the quarters being so small they do a pretty good job getting around to everyone the only reason why they dont get a 5 star rating for me is because of their service however I have noticed that it has gotten better over the last year Sushi takumi keep up the good work and please continue to put out your Superior product those like me who have been there since you guys first opened greatly appreciate it
Must be new owners or something because this place has declined in quality like crazy. Service was bad, rolls were slow, and all around just not a good experience.

Sushi takumi is fabulous. The strawberry lemonade roll and Fiesta roll are my favorite. I recommend this place.

Been Coming here for years and the service has gotten worse and worse each time I go. If it wasnt for the food being so great I wouldnt come back but after the last time i went it was plain horrible service i just walked out and i have never done that in my life. I feel bad but it was that horrible and to the point where i dont know if ill go back again. Sorry Mark but you need to get it together

That is not the sushi.And do not order any rolls.It has a lot of rice and each roll does have too many pieces.If you order rolls you have to finish them to not being charged for left over. Finally, I couldnt finish the shrimp roll. They charged me $13.99. Crazy. It looks like $6.99 roll. Overall, i paid $56 for a lunch.It was my worst experience and worst food.Just go sushi shop in grocery stores. They do better than here.Definitely, i will never come back here again.

2023-09-10 16:19:35Walked in, waiter saw us but ignore us. Had to approach someone to take us to the table. First order a beer and first round of all you can eat. I usually eat sushi nigiri. It was not good at all. The rice was bigger than the fish. Giant rice balls. The surf clam and octopus was super rubbery and chewy. Gave the sushi rolls a chance. Tons of filler. Was also not good. Was not angry about the food or service. Just being honest. It was not good. Best part was the beer and music.Try it out if you dont believe me. Sushi is getting pricey. Just trying to save everyone an extra buck.

WARNING; if you give some rice to a baby the baby will be charged 25 dollars for all you can eat. Which was a surprise when we got the bill. Im sure theyll come out and do the whole rules are rules routine but there is such a thing as being a decent business. Gratuity is forced on you and priced in, so it makes sense they charged us 75 dollars extra for three kids all under the age 4 giving them some extra change, good game! All you can eat is$36 for adults, $25 for kids (no matter the age i guess), Gratuity is 18%.

2019-02-20 03:46:38Was referred to this place by a friend and have heard good things about it. Went on a Saturday evening and is was packed with a waiting list. It wasnt a long wait and the staff was very friendly. Sat at the sushi bar and found out its all you can eat which for me is usually a red flag but I was pleasantly surprised. Food quality was good as was the presentation. They had beer and sake and servers were very good. On the menu was the usual trendy rolls you see everywhere but I did see and have some that were really original and really good. Price was excellent! Inkedt very happy, full and look forward to returning.

Food was delicious and fresh and the service was very attentive. Id recommend this place if youre in the area and want a quick bite of sushi to eat. Havent had the ayce but just might go back to try it.

2018-03-16 19:18:40This is a good spot to grab sushi. The happy hour prices are the best, and the all yo can eat is a good deal. One dollar Hite beer, you cant beat that. Plus the sushi is good and fresh. The all you can eat variety is great, a lot to choose from. Its a bit hidden, but its worth it. Give it a try. Staff and sushi chefs are really nice and fun.

When I came here I thought it was All you can eat, on one side and regular sushi on another, because I have been to places like that before. I dont know if this place was like that or not, but as I entered the door the hostess insisted on All You Can Eat Sushi; so I went to sit at the bar. Im not a fan of roll at these places because of the rice over fish ratio/portions they give you. But, here it was a good balance. At mostly all of the All You Can Eat Sushi joints I have been to they give you a lot of rice to fill you up fastet and less fish. Here its balanced. So thats a plus. The service was good and even when it gets busy they still come by and check up on you.

2022-05-30 14:32:41I typically get food from here as takeout. the food is alright. too expensive for the quantity. lastnite, I dined in with my brother and service was very bad. I will not be coming back.
