Sushi Yaki has been my go-to spot for a quick dinner after long, difficult work days. I work nearby and Im so grateful I can simply walk over. Theres nothing more comforting than having a nice meal in a humble, dependable shop like this.Props to the older couple running the place because Ive never had a negative experience. The food is consistently good and the service is reliable.

A+++ HANDS DOWN BEST SUSHI!I’ve had sushi so many times & never have I ever been so satisfied with the taste, look & price of the rolls. I can’t say anything bad about the place it’s a cute hole in the wall & if it was open for dine in would have been such a cute place to sit down & eat. The owners are the cutest older couple. DEFF!! Coming back again my daughter & I are huge fans.

Ive lived in the area for many years, and ive only gone a few times. My mom and I usually get a bento box, and on a whim I decided I should ordered something since its been a while and I was craving some kind of Roll, I ordered the Bake Salmon roll, and WOW its good! Place is very cozy and staff is friendly, Highly recommend if your in the area and just craving some rolls. For the price I thought it was perfectly reasonable.

I was appalled at the owners behavior toward his sweet wife. He was berating her yelling and she was tearing up still trying her best to get orders out! He was screaming in Korean. I will never go there again. Do not support domestic abusers.

I love sushi’s and try to eat them anytime I’m not eating homemade food, and this place has the best sushi I’ve had in the area.Every time I go I always get a to go order as well! If you try it once, you’ll see 👌🏽

This place is a really cute, reasonably priced japanese restaurant! They have some really great deals (and a discount for paying with cash) and its run by an authentic japanese couple. The food always tastes great!

Food is really bad. Price is good but not worth what I got. Had deluxe bento and the basic mediocre salad was the only thing I was happy eating.

Ive ordered Doordash from here a few times and decided to stop by and eat in today. The shop is very cute and the food is amazing! I love the spicy tuna roll and the hot night roll the most. I will be back to try more of the menu. If your looking for sushi at good price come here

Don’t really know what to say about this place except they’re very lazy and don’t care about making the customer happy. The sushi is actually pretty good but the edamame is COLD with no salt at all (who goes to a restaurant for cold food with no flavor?), & the salad was sitting there with dressing on it so when I asked for them to remake it since it was soggy and they have no idea how much dressing I like on my salad or how long of a drive I have home that it would’ve just been getting more soggy in, hey were complaining about it and didn’t want to remake it. After they finally decided to remake it, they didn’t give me any dressing and said “you already have dressing” because I asked for an extra one at first. I’m like why wouldnt I need extra now when I obviously asked for extra already? They kept trying to fight me on everything I asked for. They don’t care about making you happy and just want to do the bare minimum. Not going back.

Always very friendly every time I come. I’ve been here quite few times and the food has always been exceptional. Just tried the online ordering and I had no problems. Definitely one of my go to sushi places.

Good and affordable sushi and food. It is family owned and family ran business by a super sweet couple. They have a bunch of off the menu special rolls created after customers. It is clean and there are so many choices.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after placing an online order for pick-up. First impression: a charming, kooky hole in the wall in an otherwise ordinary strip mall. My cheerful expectations were bolstered by the many positive reviews. I was greeted rather cooly by an older man who remembered to put on his mask last-minute. He made me sign for the order (no other Grunhub visit has required this) handing me a pen that probably never gets wiped down. The traditional Japanese warm greeting of welcome or of thanks was absent. As for the food itself the tempura was substandard, lukewarm, thickly coated with batter, not anywhere near the light perfection which tempura should aspire to. Clearly a cooking lesson or refresher tutorial is needed. The chicken teriyaki was just o.k., the cubed and skinned meat having grisly bits every other bite. The restaurant fell short of my standards.

I did the tenant improvements to this restaurant back in 1993 when it was called Teriyaki House... Both amazed and proud to see that most of my work is still there. The menu has changed since my days of haunting this restaurant weekly, but if I still lived locally I would be a regular customer again.
