Pretty good food and a cozy atmosphere. Just a little pricey and I was hungry again in an hour, though thats just kinda inevitable with sushi.

A boutique style Japanese restaurant.There are a decent amount of fish for you to choice from, the quality is pretty good.The service is nice, I think they they are a bit under staff, so be patient when you make requests.You are looking at about 50 per person with drink.The restaurant is kinda tuck in the back of the small plaza.

Love this place! When I walk in - it just feels at home and comfortable. Love the intimate feeling and the food is authentically delicious. The staff is super attentive and provides great service. We dropped our chopsticks and immediately- she came over with a new stick!Overall- it’s a weekly favorite!

Brought the extended family here. They put out a spread that you would not believe the food is so delicious. All the fish is fresh. The teriyaki chicken and the steak are perfect. The pot stickers all the Appetizers is nothing on this menu that you cannot order and be completely satisfied with.

Food is too slow, and too salty. Service is slow, we sat for 40 mins and only got the salad served. The salad feels like just out of the fridge. Never being to a Japanese restaurant so bad as this. I regret coming to this place in a Valentine’s Day night, aweful!

Fresh sashimi!!! When the fish is fresh, everything else is amazing. Best sushi I have had in over a year. Definitely the best sushi I on the west side of the valley. Don’t let the exterior view fool you. Come in and enjoy!!!

Not sure what happened (during pandemic?) but after 2020, this restaurant is like a totally different business now and not in a good way. With a not too friendly or attentive service and a menu thats a step down (if you ask me) comparing it to what I used to eat there.

When I moved here 20 years ago, I needed a good sushi place to make me feel at home---this was it and has remained *my* go-to. When I was pregnant, I ate here at least once a week and then my daughter loved it as well. Their food never lost quality. Their prices remained comparable. The service has always been friendly and welcoming. Cannot say enough.

Our go to Japanese restaurant in the Campbell area. Locally owned with friendly service and fresh fish. Its relatively small but weve never had a problem getting a table. Plan ahead for take out as they do sometimes take upwards of 45 minutes to prepare your order on busy nights.

I’m so grateful that Sushi Zono is still here! So many small restaurants have not been able to weather the pandemic! They have great quality compared to some places that may charge a dollar or two less and are worth our local support. My daughter and I had a nice dinner of Sushi and Udon for two on a Saturday and it was so quiet. I will take my money to Sushi Zono any day! Vegas Roll Rules!

🚨🚨🚨BAD SERVICE ALARM:Food 3 star. Service 0 star. Really bad server experience. No food was served for half an hour while people came in later than me start getting sushis. Food eventually served but they look dry enough like sitting there for an hour.

Sushi Zono is sushi worth driving out of your way for. This family owned and operated establishment has been our favorite South Bay sushi restaurant since moving here in 1996. There is seating at the sushi bar as well as booths and tables in the dining room. The fish is always the best quality and the maki are created with flavors that are complementary and are delightful. If you enjoy sushi, you owe it to yourself to try Sushi Zono.

Had a sort of mediocre experience here, possibly a one-off but: big table of poorly behaved kids (not the restaurants fault I know, but if this is the kind of place that frequently has children running around, Ill pass), waitress got our order wrong, and it took quite a while to receive our incorrect rolls when the place was only about half full. The uni was pretty good though, Im not writing this place off yet, will give it another chance because its local and the service folks were friendly.

A very good sushi house! The selection of sushi is good, and the quality is great, making it worth the slightly higher than average prices.The service is actually quite good, we had a question about their green tea, that they buy in bulk, and the waitress wrote down the name in both English and Japanese

This restaurant is in two generations of my in laws family. It’s seriously that good to stand the test of times - approx 40 years of eating at this place in our family’s. The fish is always great - it won’t dissapiunt - this is a family owned business with pride in what they serve . Even their cooked dishes are awesome. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

I like this place for lunch, usually not too crowded, but enough people coming and going to let you know the food is good. Walking in, having a meal and walking out is usually about 45 minutes. Teriyaki chicken is really good.

This would be more appropriate as a 4.5 star rating, but I love the food so much Im erring high. Sushi Zono is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the South Bay, competing with the likes of Yuki Sushi in Willow Glen and Sushi Okawa in Blossom Valley. The quality of the fish here is excellent, and chefs Haru and Eibo always have a fantastic selection of dishes, rolls, and specials to keep us on our toes. Cant miss dishes include the Tuna Tataki and Spicy Ika Fry appetizers, the Raging Tuna roll (love that Ponzu Sauce!), and my personal favorite the Hong Roll - extra spicy, of course. The only drawback is that the service can be a little slow during the dinner rush - but the quality of the food is enough to make this a minor concern for me.

Ive been going to this place for over 20 years. Ive introduced many, many friends to the restaurant and they ALL rave about it. The food is always top notch, the staff always friendly. Make sure to try the Las Vegas roll when you go.

This is where I get real sushi from a small family-owned spot Im willing to travel far for. Dont walk in with crazy expectations for off-the-wall fusion dishes. Go in for the freshest fish and chop it up with the friendly staff.
