It has a wonderful place with taste.The Sushi, fried rice, and California rolls were delicious, fresher than any place I have ever tasted. Memories in this place will not be forgotten for a long time. I would really recommend to anyone who goes to the Sushi restaurant.

Small hole in the wall place with extremely kind service. Tony and his wife were sweet and gave us a free special and delicious juicy watermelon at the end of the meal. Definitely will be returning when in the area.

I’ve been coming to this place for years, Tony and his wife are very welcoming and serve great sushi! I usually go for the rainbow roll, also if you chat Tony up a bit he might throw in a special sample. ;)

Love this gem of a place I just discovered. Very good Agedashi Tofu. If you have seen my reviews before you will realize that’s one of the ways I judge quality. Second, the Snapper nigiri was incredible. Best I have ever had. Tender, flavorful perfect. They were out of Hirame so I will have to return. And finally the Blue Fin Toro was incredible. It was my last bite and I know I will be back for more of everything. Very local and superb no-frills ambiance, unassuming and priced well. Foodies converge!

This is our new favorite, among the many sushi options in the Campbell/Los Gatos/Saratoga areas. We ate here for dinner tonight, and while the food took a few minutes longer than some other places, we soon understood why. Large handcrafted rolls with all the trappings, made fresh with great quality fish, and the layers of flavors that good sushi brings. Little hints of sweet in rolls that generally are more umami, springs of spice in rolls that have more of a creamy overtone, you get the idea. Its not just fish, its not just rice, its not just sauce...its the sum of the parts. Plus, its a cozy spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle to really take a pause and enjoy the food.

Friendly owner (=chef) and good food. Seems to have many returning customers. I was waiting for my order. Two more customers showed up for pickup and the owner knew them by their names.

Amazing family owned sushi restaurant. We went there for a friend’s birthday and everything was amazing. My husband had the chicken katsu and it was so juicy and tender. He said it’s the best katsu he’s ever had. I had sashimi and it was very fresh and tasty. Best sushi I’ve had in the South Bay.

Very expensive for less than average sushi. Rice was either stale or overcooked, and fish was not great quality. They gave a complimentary orange as a desert that was very good however.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced at a sushi joint, server ignored us the whole time and what looked like the manager tried asking her for help but she didnt look happy to be there. There was this other guy that was helping clean all the tables and helping other people, he also helped our table when He didnt have to, He was very helpful decided to tip him instead since he helped more then our server. He actually brought out our food but I saw our server take it from him and serve us like she was the one that went and Got it.

Amazing Nigiri and Chirashi! Chef Tony pays attention to every detail - the freshness of the fish, the fine cuts, the arrangement. And the service is friendly and attentive. Been back at least 4 times over the last couple of weeks.

I love the personable feel when I walked in the door. The staff are very kind and attentive. The sushi is the best Ive had -- very generous with flavor and creativity.The salads are wonderful with a really fantastic dressing.It was a very pleasant and satisfying experience for me and I will be dining with them regularly.

This is a great hole in the wall sushi place! Their caterpillar, red dragon, and rainbow rolls stand out, as does their very personalized customer service. Way better sushi than you might expect given the look of their location, but the family vibe of the place is definitely worth it.

This is a solid four star Japanese restaurant. Truly a hole in the wall spot at the corner of a small strip mall on Pollard Road near La Rinconada Country Club, this eatery is owned and run by a cute Japanese couple, Tony and Sue.The restaurant only has six tables, which I expect may fill up quickly during the dinner hours, but my first visit to the establishment today was for lunch, around 1:00 PM or so. Other than myself, there was only one other dining party.I ordered the lunch bento box: three items with chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura, and California roll (6 pieces). Additionally, I ordered a side of the Hibachi Chicken Rice, an order of Salmon nigiri, an order of Sea Bass nigiri, and an order of the Crab nigiri.Overall, the quality of the food, the flavor, and the presentation were all decent. Flavor-wise, nothing really stood out, which is why I couldnt give this place five stars. The presentation of the food was very standard for a Japanese restaurant, although I agree with some other reviewers that the overall look of the rolls leave something to be desired.What makes this place shine is the quality of their fish. Each different nigiri I ordered stood out to me. The flavor was perfect for each fish and it all tasted very fresh. Since sushi is in the name of the restaurant itself, it makes sense that the sushi here is spectacular. It is clear that Tony, the sushi chef (and owner), takes a lot of pride and care in the preparation and presentation of the nigiri. This was the first time I had ever had the pleasure of trying sea bass (susuki) nigiri and the firm texture of the fish surprised me. Honestly, I cannot name a single other Japanese restaurant in the Bay Area that serves sea bass nigiri.When the owners noticed that this was my first time at the restaurant, Tony the sushi chef sent over a complementary sample of his O Toro nigiri. Normally, this would be insanely expensive (O Toro is typically the single, most expensive sashimi / nigiri item on a menu). The O Toro was really fresh and easily the best tasting o toro Ive had. I like a lot of different fish, but Ive never really been a big fan of o toro.The Hibachi Chicken Rice, which I ordered purely out of morbid curiosity, since Ive never had hibachi chicken rice anywhere outside of Benihanas, turned out to be better than expected. Tonys take on hibachi chicken rice is very interesting. His use of green bell peppers adds a unique flavor and texture profile that I found to be very satisfying.Although I appear to be swooning over this establishment, I do have two knocks against this place. First, I would not recommend ordering their tempura items; especially the shrimp tempura. The batter is very thick and heavy and I felt like I was eating a corn dog rather than tempura. Also, for the quantity and quality of the food, this place is pretty pricey. But, that said, Ive had plenty of Japanese food that cost more and tasted significantly worse.I would eat here again, but next time, Ill stick to the sushi, nigiri, and sashimi.

Excellent food but the service was just ok. We came at 6:30pm. It would be nice if they brought meals for everyone all at the same time instead of trickling in parts (3 parts of a single bento dinner came at different intervals).
