Delicious sushi and great presentation. I had my 21st birthday here 11 years, and was very excited to see them thriving still today, so had to have my birthday dinner here again! Loved it. Very delicious

The most important things first: the sushi was excellent and fish was fresh. They have a large assortment of specialty rolls and also noodles and other entrees for people who dont want to eat sushi. There are some interesting baked rolls that I had never had before that were good and also some deep fried items that were also very tasty perhaps not traditional but tasty. Service was excellent and everyone was super friendly and nice. They also had a pretty nice selection of wines and drinks. The portions are generous. We easily ordered three or four too many things for our group of six.

Its generally a nice place. Indoor/ outdoor seating was available, but sushi bar was not open yet. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Our food took a little longer than expected but there was a large group when we were there.Chicken katsu: breast meat. Nicely fried. It was not dry but I thought it wouldve been better with dark meat.Spicy chicken lunch special: sauce was a little strange at first but it grows on you. Made with dark meat so the meat was tasty.Rainbow roll: pretty standard and good. No complaintsScallop roll: plenty of scallops. I thought it was good but wife thought it was a bit heavy on the mayo.Overall very happy with the food and service.

As bad as it sounds I didn’t want to write this review…. Part of me wanted to be selfish and keep this place under wraps! But real foodie girls aren’t gatekeeping in 2023 so here goes nothin…. This place is a hidden gem! Nestled in a shopping center between Motel 6, Dollar Tree and Jack in the Box who would have thought this unassuming Sushi joint would be serving the BEST sushi you or I will ever eat. I have been here many times but our most recent visit was the most memorable. We decided to try something new so we ordered the Pink Lady Roll that has crab salad wrapped in salmon and topped with scallop and lemon. Melt in your mouth! Couldn’t get enough of this stuff. Then we got the Geisha Roll. No rice roll with tuna, avocado, crab salad, wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber. DI-VINE! Their Takoyaki is always a hit, ALWAYS. The Ultimate Hamachi roll is an easy win for anyone that loves yellowtail. We got their Miso Salmon special and it did not disappoint. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and were told we were getting the last Salmon special that day. I can’t say enough good things about the food and the service here! The place is super small so they are always packed. Sushiko rivals some of the fancier more well known spots I’ve visited in Northern California *cough* Kru *cough*. I drive 60 miles to eat here and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. The only thing that would make this place better is a larger location so we never run the risk of not getting a table :P.

This has been my favorite sushi restaurant of all time since I was a kid, but tonight we were served rolls that had been sitting out for a long time. The Avocado was brown and the fried tempura was cold and chewy. Wish we had our $60 back.

Fantastic food and service. I was staying in Santa Rosa for 4 months for work and came here about 2x a week. Every time I came in, the service and food were top-notch. Some of the best sushi Ive ever had!

Hands down the best ramen Ive ever had. Me and my girlfriend drive from Napa just to eat here. Recommendations: spicy chasu ramen, beef ribs, takoyaki, jalapeño bombs, pork kakuni. You really cant go wrong with any of their food but those are our regular dishes. Wonderful people with wonderful food. 10/10!Edit: I did forget to mention that Ive been coming here for about 5 years now and its still amazing every time.

Whats going on? I ordered Char siu Ramen and its nothing like whats shown in other peoples photos. If you dont have Char siu today, just tell me and I will order something else. But throw two cubes of pan fried pork belly in the bowl didnt make it Char siu ramen. Also theres no bamboo root in the noodle I got. Disappointed

I ordered a bento box with salmon teriyaki, and the Hamachi Ribs. I loved the Hamachi Ribs; I was a bit skeptical with the first bite, then the flavor grew on me. I will definitely order again.

Absolutely Horrifying!! I got take out from Sushiko, and I ordered the Beef Udon. I have gotten it before from them and enjoyed it, however, this time was not so pleasant. I took a spoonful of broth and all of a sudden - crunch - I bit into a HUGE black/brown bug of some sort. I was in shock for a second and then aggressively washed my mouth out from the fear of a bacteria ridden bug in my food. This is unacceptable... it really makes you question the condition in which their kitchen is kept. Reminds me of something off Kitchen Nightmares! Will not be returning, as I feel this is something that is unacceptable as a restaurant whether it was known or not by the kitchen. It is the fact that there were big black bugs in the food preparation area in the first place.

While it looks messy, that was more to do with carry-out realities. I love this place. Aside from the Michelin-starred restaurant up the street, this place has the best sushi in the Santa Rosa area. Definitely the best for your money.

Loved it!!!Had the bento box lunch! Teriyaki salmon, tempura and California roll. It comes with miso soup, salad, pickled diakon, fried crab shumai and steamed rice. Everything was delicious 😋People serving were very pleasant and accommodating ☺

My favorite sushi spot in Sonoma county. So much more than rolls. The baked green muscles are a must try as well as the miso salmon kama and hamachi ribs. Their house salad has an addictive dressing, so much so I enjoy it as a dipping sauce once my greens are all gone.

I am always on the search for a sushi place that has a great environment and amazing quality and this place genuinely surprised me. I wasnt expecting to find my new favorite place. The service was very efficient but they can be busy which is very telling! The food was fantastic, even the miso soup was some of the best I have had in a long time. The quality of the fish was great and the rolls were made very quickly. I am so impressed and I cant wait to come back and the unique rolls they have come up with!

We went with 8 people for the birthdays. The folks that got the sushi said it was a 5, the ramen was a 3 1/2 for me...so overall its a 4. I would definitely recommend.

This is an older shopping center location and the age of the restaurant is starting to show. Having said that, the food was tasty and with imaginative presentation. Several of the appetizers were unique in our experience and really quite enjoyable. Pricing was competitive and we would probably go again if in the area.

The actual fish tasted slimy and the texture was off, I could hardly get it down after a few bites. I love all sushi and am usually easy to please but this was not good. the avocado in the rolls had gone bad and ruined the taste. they pre added soy sauce to all rolls for some reason. the staff was nice but Ill def be sticking to Kyoto for rp sushi in the future. yikes.

Great sushi - I got the Mexican roll, it was really well done - sliced tuna, well seasoned, great sauce, perfectly cooked rice, and reasonable prices - mine was $13 for a premium roll. I will definitely be coming back!

I want to start this review by first saying that Ive been to a lot of Japanese restaurants in Northern California but this one tops them all. I didnt know about this restaurant for the longest time as its tucked away in a plaza in the back corner. If you originally judged this place by the outdoor decor or the flickering sign, please dont! Once you step inside, you feel like you are transported directly into a small Japanese restaurant. Its small and cozy with the chefs making fresh rolls right infront of you in the kitchen area. The atmosphere with the lighting, the presentation of the food, and most importantly the taste of the sushi is to die for. I had the sushiko roll since it was my first time and it was the most unbelievable sushi I have ever tasted in my entire life. The tuna melts in your mouth like butter. The complimentary Miso Soup, the large portions, and the fresh taste of the sushi.... OMG..I also tried the warm baked rolls and they were insane! Sooo good.No wonder this place is always packed with people. The amount of sushi you get and the quality of the dishes feel like Im in a Michelin star restaurant. Ive tried other Japanese restaurants like HANA in Rohnert Park but I got to give the win to this place. Nothing beats the taste of this sushi. I was smiling ear to ear leaving the place. The staff is so kind and genuine too!

Called this restaurant just to see if the grubhub driver picked up the order and how long ago because it hasnt arrived at my place when it said. It was over 30 minutes over. The staff worker was very rude. Saying uh you should call the driver and hung up on me in mid response. Wont order here again and I use to come here alot
